The Primal Hunter's

The Primal Hunter's
Don't Leave Anything

The Malefic Viper stood in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by an ever-present white mist. He had been standing here for days now, motionless. The decision to leave had been made, but the final move still left him perplexed. It's not that he can't or that he doesn't want to leave. One thought will take him away. But he still hesitates. It's been a long time since the last time he left.

Suddenly, he felt a hint of confidence coming to him, for the first time in many eras. Of course, he knows where it came from. He has only one creature in the entire multiverse that holds his blessing. His prayer was simple, though a little insulting.

Malefic Viper could not help but laugh at himself as he peered through the void into the challenge basement, observing Jake drinking his potion.

"Crazy bastard," he muttered to himself, grinning. “Dan is completely pointless. Should I tell him that his body will be strong enough to survive the poison and how he risked his life unnecessarily? Well, it'll save that one. ”

Seeing Jake drinking in the mud, his own indecision seemed like a joke in comparison. He fears the unknown, while the only blessed man faces death with courage and a hint of foolishness.

"I think I should stop buying time."

With those words, he disappeared from the desolate realm.

A ripple passed through the multiverse as he passed through the veil. Auras that did not appear during the sweeping era of existence, could only be detected by the most powerful gods. Some had already sensed the karmic move when he gave the True Blessing, but now there was no doubt.

Malefic Viper is back.

--

Two mighty giants stand on the metaphorical battlefield, one representing life, the other, death. Equally matched as they tried to knock the others down. Their battle had allowed the two of them to grow, but at the same time, had reduced their strength. The end is near.

However, at that moment, the third entity, which was forgotten, attacked. A powerful life arrow surged forward, completely destroying the death avatar. The life giant took this opportunity to jump into the fallen avatar but was only filled with the clutches of the hunter. It had no other recourse because it was too weak from the long battle.

The war of life and death is finally over. It was only less than an hour; however, the pain was truly excruciating, and Jake felt delirious even though his body was now slowly healing. But he feels winning. He had won, all the poison was now either firmly planted within his body or eliminated altogether.

Jake suddenly sighed as his throat finally finished healing, and he could once again breathe air. The experience also inadvertently taught her that she did not need to breathe much anymore. It's not that it makes the inability to breathe even harder to get used to.

He remained on the ground for a few minutes as he realized his surroundings, realizing he was still in the basement. His head was a mess, and he could not move a single finger. The pain had subsided significantly, but it was still aching as his body continued to recover. Whatever remains of poison were left in his system was almost gone by now, and his natural resilience would deal with the rest.

His mind began to clear, and the moment it happened, he could not help but laugh. Or at least he tried but ended up just bleeding. After spewing out lungs full of blood and feces, his laughter attempt was successful.

He has lived. The stupid move worked. To be honest, he did indeed feel like an idiot at the moment. Based on its poison power, one well-made scarcity antidote would likely cure it or at least suppress its effects enough for his body to deal with the rest. Perhaps his body could accept it even without outside help.

His own little potion only amplified that turmoil and turned it into an extremely powerful poison that almost took his life. Not that it's all important now. He won after all. And with his victory came a lot of system messages.

It lasted for a while, and Jake could see that it periodically gave him stats after the initial intense outburst.

In the end, he finally gained a total of 31 vitality. The energy naturally came from the Argentum Vitae mushroom, which would give him 10 vitality if he ate it straight away. Although his stats were less, it would not make him nearly dead.

With the poison being cured, he naturally also passed the test.

The Challenge of Underground Prison:

Heal yourself from poison 1/1

Congrats! You have successfully completed the Challenge Dungeon Tutorial!

The prizes awarded are based on performance during all trials.

The dungeon was closed at 3:57:11

Looking through the message log, he had completed the dungeon a little over two hours ago. It only took a few hours for him to heal his body enough for him to regain proper consciousness. Not that he was completely healed, because he could not really move his body. Like, at all.

As for the reward, he not only earned one but two titles. However, this was more in line with his predecessor in the New World, compared to the Patriarch Bloodline, or the fairly powerful Holder of a True Primordial's Blessing.

[Dungeoner I] – Successfully complete a Dungeon that matches your level. +1 all stats.

[Dungeon Pioneer I] – Be the first to complete a dungeon that suits your level. +3 all stats.

The statistics are fine, but the most important thing is the number 1 in both, in his honest opinion. This clearly shows that these titles are not just one-off but will likely grow for every basement he does.

Not finding any other notes in his notification window, he closed them and just lay there. Her Perception Scope, made her aware of her surroundings, as she recorded the bottles of health potions inside one of the cabinets. With nothing better to do, he began weaving small strings of mana to try and drag one of them to him like he had practiced.

The process of opening the cabinet was really a struggle, not because Jake did not mind it at all. He's still alive. And he feels great. Well, besides the body parts are completely paralyzed. Looking at his health points, they were at 700 out of almost 3000, and this after regenerating was quite a bit. He is likely to be under 200, maybe even under 100.

Health points as vital energy serve as fuel that heals the body and keeps living things alive. The famous undead creatures did not have any health points but had death energy that kept them from dying.

This means that the body's natural healers consume health points to do so. When a person is damaged, an early part of health is consumed, with other parts used to heal the wound afterward. As long as the health points remain, so does the life of the creature that possesses them.

But being 'live' is a rather broad term. If the poison has eaten Jake's brain, that doesn't mean all his health points are gone. He would stay alive, and his health points would continue to heal his brain. If the poison was then cured, his vitality won the fight, and his brain healed, no permanent damage would occur.

The problem is, the brain is still an organ that serves as a director of consciousness. The mind is in the soul, but it cannot do anything or even realize itself without the brain. Memories, personalities, what makes you, you, exist apart from the physical body. Many creatures in the multiverse do not even have to have a brain or a specific physical form; some simply have an intangible spirit form.

For humans, at least at its current stage, brain loss means losing all semblance of control and consciousness until it is regenerated once again. If Jake loses access to this control, he will no longer be able to affect the two opposing forces at all. He would not be able to fight on the metaphorical battlefield, which was why he fought hard to defend his brain during the attack.

Jake doesn't know if this weakness can be fixed, but suspects that there are skills that allow humans to keep acting despite not having brains. Maybe it will happen naturally with future evolution.

And speaking of health, Jake's epic quest to obtain a health potion has reached a critical stage. He managed to shift the cabinet door a little, a big win in his book.

After a few more minutes, when he finally nearly opened the cabinet completely, he felt a hint of his mobility returning. Initially, he could move his fingers, then his hands, his arms, and soon he managed to sit down.

As it turned out, the entire quest for health potions had been a waste of time. Dragging himself off the floor, Jake still felt weak, as he painstakingly opened the cupboard and took out the healing potion.

He felt a little better after drinking it, but to return to his original form would still take quite a while. Depleted vitality is not so easy to overcome. From what he read, his weakness usually disappeared when the health pool was once again maximized, and he still had about half of it for it.

Walking out of the laboratory, his Sphere of Perception picked up something new.

He has spent 30 days in the basement, and with his ball always on, he remembers every minute detail. But in the room where he had originally obtained his profession, two key boxes were now in the temple inside.

He did not hesitate to enter the room and examine them. One of the boxes is rather large, while the other is small. Both of them were decorated with gems, and as he approached them to use Identifying, he was shocked.

[Challenge Dungeon Lockbox (Rare)] – Magic keyboxes created by a bewitched system with the ability to block any kind of attempt to peek inside before opening. Awarded for successfully passing the Challenge Dungeon.

Larger boxes have a rare rarity. Opening it, Jake saw a pair of boots.

They look old and worn out. Both appear to be made of leather that was once brown but is now dull grey in color. Small scratches and minor imperfections damaged its surface, and its soles looked like they had accompanied their last wearers to countless steps. To be honest, it looked much worse than her slippery leather bracelet.

However, using Identification on the old boots, he was not disappointed.

[Boots of the Wandering Alchemist (Rare)] – Boots was once offered to an alchemist before embarking on a journey to experience the outside world. Despite being made of simple leather, the alchemist's Note had left a deep mark on this item, allowing it to surpass many ranks. Charm: +20 Durability, +15 Agility. Reduces stamina expenditure from all movement-related skills by a small amount. Increases sensitivity to grounded plants.

Requirements: Lvl 25+ in any humanoid race.

They rewarded 35 total stats and two passive effects. The reduced stamina expenditure is useless to Jake at the moment because he lacks movement-related skills, but he is confident it will show its value in the future. It would be strange if he did not obtain the movement skills from his archer class.

Increased sensitivity is likely to also be useful, he assumed. Without hesitation, he put on those boots. He had not worn anything before after his old shoes had been eaten sour about a month ago. It was nice to finally have something on his feet, and the boots themselves felt so comfortable.

The feeling of comfort only increased as he injected mana into it and felt the familiar feeling from his stats increase.

Feeling great with his new boots, he switched to another smaller lockbox and was once again surprised.

[Challenge Dungeon Lockbox (Epic)] – Magic keyboxes created by a bewitched system with the ability to block any kind of attempt to peek inside before opening. Awarded for passing the dungeon challenge with excellent performance.

He doubted whether the system would reward him for taking a more difficult path than was necessary to succeed, and it turned out that it was. Almost unable to contain himself, he opened the lockbox and looked inside.

A very expensive looking necklace lay inside. Everything is made of what looks like silver or even platinum. Green gems adorn the chain beautifully. Hopefully, he uses Identifying on the beautiful artwork before him.

[Excellent Alchemist Grip Necklace (Epic)] – Amulets given to outstanding young alchemists after completing the experiment. An ornate creation of high craftsmanship made of metal that harmonizes with the affinity of space, holding the space gem in place. Allows the user to store items in small pocket dimensions found inside the gem. Due to the nature of the gemstones used, living and non-living entities can be stored without harmful side effects in a temporary suspension. Charm: Alchemist Spatial Storage. +25 Wisdom.

Requirements: Soulbound

Jake smiled broadly as he read it. Nice old figure of the item box. And his item box was even the type that could store living items.25 wisdom was also more than acceptable. The bonus of storing living things naturally allows plants to be stored, and many plant life goes bad not long after being picked, so keeping them alive through temporary suspension seems almost like a must-have.

He was a bit worried about the requirements of Soulbound, as he was not sure what that meant. Although he doubted he would not be able to use it unless this was a big joke of the system. If he had to guess, he would say it just meant it was tied to him.

Taking the necklace, he placed it on his neck before injecting mana into it. With that came the feeling of his wisdom increased, but it was accompanied by something else - the knowledge of how to operate spatial storage.

In his mind, he had a mental picture of a room. The room had no light source but was quite spacious. How big exactly, he could not understand. The lack of reference points made it even more difficult, as the room was completely empty.

Looking at the timer for the closed dungeon challenge, he still had another two and a half hours left. Quickly, he went to the library and started keeping books. At first, he did it individually, but soon he picked up a bookshelf at once. After storing all the bookshelves, he even grabbed a table, a chair, a pen, and almost everything he could get.

In spatial storage, he discovered that the items barely occupied any space. He quickly went to the bedroom and threw everything into the storage room as well. The bed, the closet, the other little table, it's all coming in.

Next, he stopped by the laboratory, but here he encountered his first difficulties. Many instruments are tied to the walls and floor. Fortunately the stirring bowl, the most important tool, can be carried. However, the small stove had been repaired. It seemed like he had to find a new one or use his Alchemical Flame skill.

A group of other instruments, such as the mortar and pestle, he also carried. Furthermore, he started storing the potions and poison he had made over the past month. In fact, most of them were only made last week, as he had to periodically empty many bottles to recycle them.

Fortunately, the cupboard that kept the bottles was free-standing, allowing him to take them whole and throw them into storage. Looking at the barrels of pure water, he stored the full one and picked up the others as he headed towards the garden.

Taking her to the park, she filled it with pure water as she dumped it also into the shed. Looking at all the plants, he cracked his knuckles. Not leaving anything .
