79. Next Steps

Natalie seems troubled by the fact that Darren has a child, especially Darren has a five-year-old boy, who is already quite a big age.

"Why can't I know about this? Though I've been investigating his life for as long as he's been living in Melbourne?"

I don't know what he's worried about, it's just that Natalie doesn't seem happy to hear Darren has a child, especially on the fact that the child is from an unofficial relationship.

"I have to find out about the mother of the little boy? And, what was the relationship he had in the past with Darren?"

Along with such heart-wrenching facts and feelings, Darren who had left his family home left a feeling that left all his family members in an unpleasant situation of being too shocked. All seemed silent because of it, no longer able to digest what was, because it was so threatening and too sudden.

"Now what, pa?" Edward asked Ferdi's grandfather.

However, Ferdi's grandfather was silent. His expression looked so chaotic, being too shocked at the problems that happened to his family, to make him feel dizzy thinking about the rumors that were happening to his grandson.

"Your son is just like you, stubborn and unruly. You take care of your own son, I want to sleep." Said Ferdi's grandfather who chose to rise from his seat and leave the association, leaving his son Edward with his son-in-law Gauri and his granddaughter Gloria who still live in the family room.

"Darling, what are you gonna do to Darren now?" Said Natalie along with her comments after being silent to watch her husband and in-laws arguing with Darren.

"I don't know, it all feels confusing right now." Reply Edward who felt dizzy thinking about his son's problems.

"You better make sure the truth of the news first, who knows it's not true, and maybe Darren thinks wrong about his son?" Natalie urges her husband to find out the truth about Darren.

"Don't you hear Darren already saying that it's his son?" Reply Edward.

Natalie could no longer refute the facts mentioned by her husband, because she did hear clearly Darren's words earlier.

"He hasn't talked about the DNA test, how about you make sure about it, after that you can take the next step about the problem that's about Darren." Said Natalie who wanted her husband to find the clear truth on Darren's problem.

Edward was silent, because he was too dizzy to think about his son's problems. Moreover, he was not so close to his son, so it was difficult for him to overcome the problems involving Darren, given his attitude that always crossed with him.

"Pa, if the child is Darren's son, what will you do?" This time Gloria seemed to share her comments, unlike her who was always indifferent to her family problems, although of course the action got a sharp gaze from the mother.

As for Edward, the papa is now looking at him in silence who is currently asking him.

"My age is 20, Ma, so I'm not a kid anymore. After all, if I was still considered a child, I should not have been brought here from the beginning." Gloria's grumbling is a little off.
