13. The Shattering Reality

I waited for him in the hope that one day we could meet again. Although I was a little angry with him, I could not hate him, because he once filled my heart. In the year after I knew him well, I felt comfortable being with him, and even unconsciously depended on him. Therefore, my stolen feelings for her never existed at all, considering that she was always gentle with me.

However, after a long time without meeting him, my closeness with him used to be as if lost. It's as if there's a pretty obvious gap between us, which is even really hard for me to deal with. Until the reality I just heard earlier, it hurts my heart that has always hoped to be reunited with him.

"I.. " By holding back the cries that he could no longer bear, Airin could no longer hide his sadness after coming out of his showroom. He patted his chest softly which was very painful because he continued to hold back his crying.

His slightly screaming speech made Airin stop his hand that was about to hold the door of his car, and immediately look at the person who called him.

And the flashback ended, it happened now between Darren and Airin who met face to face, after with all his energy after Darren chasing Airin who came out.

Their eyes met each other, but two different feelings occurred when they came face to face. If Darren tries to regulate his expression and breath that can be bored because of running. And, Airin who seemed unable to hide his surprise when he saw the person he was so familiar with, was now standing in front of him, even just a few steps closer to him. His eyes even regained their senses between his eyes when he saw that person who was now standing close to him.

"Did you know me before?" He said later, which of course made Airin's heart shaken. He even stared in disbelief at the person in front of him, and involuntarily shed tears in front of Darren.

His sorrowful expression as he looked at her face, even tears that suddenly came out of his eyes, when he who was about to step towards her, made her come to a halt and looked confusedly at the woman in front of him.

"*So she looked at me angrily, and now she was crying when she saw me? Even just now had a surprised expression when I saw me?" Inner Darren confusedly looked at the woman in front of him.

"Damn, he confused me." Darren was about to confront him head on, by speeding up to Airin*.

"Darren, where are you." Shouted someone, until he stopped his steps again who was about to approach closer to Airin. Only five steps away, for him to meet each other, but because the scream that had called him earlier made Darren so upset that he no longer cared about the call.

"Woi, Darren." Call Lucas from afar to Darren who is currently holding Airin's hand. "Woo.. Who is she, huh?" Lucas was shocked to see Darren's position so close to a woman.

As soon as Darren's sight was diverted, Airin tried to release Darren's handrails, and was about to re-enter his car.

Brakk, the sound of the car door closing from Darren when Airin was about to get back into his car.

"I'm not done talking, so you can't leave before I'm done asking." His emphasis was on staring sharply at Airin. "You..."

"Woi, Darren, where can you leave that party." Lucas approached Darren with a gasp of breath, cutting off Darren's words.

"I'll go in there again, so you go there, I'll follow. I still have business." Said Bian staring Lucas did not like because he was disturbed when he wanted to talk to Airin.

"Bodo is very much the same gossip, because of how you pulled me earlier, I so lost the opportunity to ask him." Angry Darren who looks frustrated himself.

"What do you want to ask him?" Lucas asked when he saw Darren was so angry with him, but he just saved him from bad gossip.

"You know that girl?" Point Darren at the car that is now away, by looking at Lucas. Lucas shook his head in ignorance.

"She's the woman you said earlier, the woman who cried in the elevator when we got off earlier. Do you remember now?"

"Ok, I remember. So what does this have to do with your anger now?" Confused Lucas looked at Darren who looked so emotional.

"It's precisely because of that, I'm angry. She cried as I got off the elevator, kept on meeting our eyes, and she gave me an angry look instead. Even when I tried to get to her earlier, she shed her tears, putting on a sad expression when she saw me. Don't you think I'm bothered by that?" Darren was clearly expressive.

"Yes, why? Hasn't you ever been bothered with anything? Why is it so disturbed now?" Lucas looked at Darren in wonder.

"Yes..that's. 'cause...." Darren could not continue his words, as if aware of what he was doing and became confused with himself.
