Still Wishing He Back?

Still Wishing He Back?
18. The Forgotten Things

"What did I forget? Why do I want to know now?"

Darren looked desperate as he tried to recall his memories while in Australia.

"Damnya" when giving up on what he did.

Upon his return from the hospital, it seems that Darren cannot forget every word that Heru's doctor explained to him.

"Don't force it if it hurts." Said Lucas who tried to calm Darren down, and accompanied Darren in his apartment.

"Cas, do you think I should do that therapy?"

"Whatever the hell, if you think it's good, then just do it. But, if the weight of mending is not necessary, after all, your body is fine." Lucas replied that he didn't force Darren to go into therapy.

"For so long, I've never done any memory recovery therapy. Grandpa and papa also seem to forbid me to do it. And back then, I didn't do it either because I felt it wasn't important."

"They forbid you to do it, because they worry about you, because as long as you wake up from a coma, you always complain of pain in your head, to always wake up from sleep because you always think back to the accident."

"True, it's because I'm still thinking about the accident, which makes it hard for me to sleep. But, actually up to now I also still have difficulty sleeping, and often take medication to get to sleep."

"At least not as bad as when you woke up from a coma first, right?"

"Yes, but what makes me confused is that there is a female voice that always appears in my head, so sometimes makes me wake up in the middle of my sleep. I feel like this has something to do with my memories?"

"Female voice?" Press Lucas trying to ascertain what he heard.

"Yes, weird right? Though the first thing that makes me difficult to sleep is the memory of the accident. But, for some reason these past few months, I've been dreaming of a woman a lot. His voice really disturbed my sleep!" Darren told me about the condition he had been in these months.

"When have you experienced that? Why are you saying now?" Lucas is surprised to hear Darren's explanation.

"Maybe two months ago." Answer Darren.

"Well! That's right, when you came home from Australia? It is fitting that after that day your condition becomes increasingly unfavorable. Like taking sleeping pills more often than usual, sometimes even more than the dose recommended by the doctor."

"Yes, you're right. After coming there, I often take my sleeping pills because of the dreams and sounds!"

Lucas breathed a moment. "When did I ever say, if let me just come, why even force to come there? Look now, your heart and your feelings are still not fully accepting." Said later.

"What do you think the voice of the woman I heard in my dream had to do with my memory, huh?" Darren asked Lucas for enlightenment.

"Okay, maybe. But, do you not have even a picture of the woman who appeared in your dream?" Ask Lucas.

"Nothing at all. Because of that, this really confused me. And, until now I'm still trying to figure out the answer, why did she show up in my dreams and who is she?." Darren replies his dream to Lucas.

"What do you remember about the woman in your dream?"

"I don't really remember her, her face was just vaguely seen in a dream. However, the sentence I always heard was, don't forget me." Answer Darren.

"Don't forget me?" Lucas repeated the sentence said by Bian with a laughable expression.

"What is this not-don't curse given by Laura? He's obsessed with you, but you're always the one who's always been cuekin him?" Guess Lucas.

"No, obviously it's not her voice. If you hear his voice, I have my own ilfeel." Tukas Darren firmly. "The voice I heard was so soft, and every time I heard it, my heart always felt pain." Clearly again.

"It hurts, huh?" hem.." Lucas looked strange as soon as he heard it. "When did you live in Melbourne, did you ever have a boyfriend or that special person?" Said later.

"Well!" Presumably Darren felt shocked upon hearing the words uttered by Lucas.

"Daughter? A special person?"

As soon as he tried to remember it, his head came back buzzing, which again made him in pain.

"We have finished the conversation today, it is better now you just rest, and take the medicine prescribed by Heru doctor earlier." Lucas asked Darren, who was in pain again, to end their chat session.

...

The thing that Darren really wanted to know, was also felt by Airin now. If Darren is very curious about the identity of women who appear in his minpins, inversely proportional to Airin who is looking for answers from the new things he is experiencing at this time. In the condition of the person who once filled his heart, also about the reason for leaving him until he could forget himself now.

"I don't know, should I be happy or angry now?" His words that could no longer control his sad expression while trying to remember that.

"I can't even look my son in the face, because I feel guilty for him." He said again feeling sorry for not being able to bring his son to his biological father.

"What should I do now?" He said frustrated.

"Rin, let's have dinner." Call bi Rahma to Airin who was staring in his room.

"Yes, bi. Airin's gonna be out." Reply Airin who rushed out as soon as he got a call from bi Rahma.

"You why? Are you having any more problems?" Ask bi Rahma, as soon as Airin sits in the table.

"No, bi. Airin's fine." Airin replied a little lying.

"really? You continue to be this moody after coming home from delivering orders yesterday, you know!" Said bi Rahma trying to make sure back.

Airin could only smile hearing her aunt's concerns. However, of course he could not tell what was going on with him.

"Yes, bi. Airin is nothing, really. This may be because Airin is simply sapped, considering the order of a few days is quite a lot." Obviously Airin was trying to calm his aunt who was worried about him.

"Well, if you say so, aunt will believe." Bi Rahma no longer debated and tried to understand Airin.

Airin's expression looked bad, considering he had lied to his aunt. However, he had no choice but to hide it, considering it was not good news to tell his family.

"Ma, I want eggs." Arka's speech made Airin put aside his thoughts.

"Ok, mama take the eggs. Eat a lot, yeah!" Said Airin rubbing gently the top of his son's head as soon as the egg emabrjh on his son's plate.

"What should you do, son? If your dad doesn't remember your mom, then what's your fate?"
