43. Seeking Hope

"Oh yeah, I heard you got engaged to Laura? Is the news true?" Ask Alex.

"My news turns out to be to America too, huh?" Darren frowned when he got a question from Alex.

"Yesterday I heard from the kids, and all about you and Laura, so I got to know and tried to confirm it to you today." Obviously Alex.

"Well, it's getting more famous, the story is" Ledek Lucas.

Unlike Darren who can still talk quietly with his close friends, Airin who is still awake from his sleep continues to reflect in his room. Thinking of the right way to meet Darren later. "Mama.." Arka's call shifted her eyes that had been pensively staring at the window of her room.

"Oh, this is mama going to sleep, too." Airin hugged her son who woke up from his sleep.

"Arka wants to sleep while hugging my mom." Said Arka while hugging Airin.

Hearing that, of course, made Airin smile. "Alright, mama will hug Arka. Now let's go to bed again, ok." Airin also laid her body beside her son, who eventually forced himself to sleep.

Patting his son's back slowly, Airin tried to put his son back to sleep who had awakened.

Airin gently brushed the hair of the child who had closed his eyes again. Seeing his sleeping son made him smile and hug his body more and more, and try to close his eyes by forgetting for a moment the burden of thoughts that bother him.

His face was increasingly lethargic and pale with his body showing weight loss, due to his eating disorder, making him now in a limp condition, until it ended with hospital admission.

"What are you sick with?" Rendi visited Airin who was lying in a hospital bed.

"The air is just soy sauce, brother." Reply Airin showed his smile even with his condition still weak.

"Geez Airin, next time you have to take care of your condition." Said Rendi who worried about Airin's condition with her expression so sincere.

"I was shocked when I saw your aunt in the hospital, I thought she was sick." The worried tone was clearly visible from Rendi.

"Yes, Airin tau. Next time Airin will keep the body of Airin better. And, besides, Airin is now gapapa really, just a little bit limp." Said Airin to calm Rendi who worried about her condition.

"Thank you son Rendi has visited my nephew, when it was busy like this." Said bi Rahma to Rendi who chose to approach Airin who was being treated at the hospital where he was also on duty.
