Dul
092. Story of Annisa (2)

“Please ask Abdullah, what time will he be back? Another friend wanted to leave. I'm on the laper because I haven't had lunch.” Yani nudges Robin's arm with his elbow.

Robin slightly flinched, but immediately whispered to the Son next to her.

“Ask Dul, he's back at what time. The hungry one has not had lunch, ” Robin said after patting Son's arm.

The son poked Dul's back in front of him. “You're back now? All by laper.” The little son rose to whisper behind Dul's ear.

Dul looked back. “All? Who?”

Son shrugs, “No idea who. But most definitely it was me.”

Dul stared at the wall clock above the ornamental cabinets, “Nearly three hours. Sorry I was forgetful. I still want to be here writhing her elder brother Nisa who has not come. Excuse me first, nothing. I'm just here. Say to Yani,” order Dul.

After the message delivered by Dul moved twice, Yani finally came forward to meet Dul. The girl leaned over and pulled Dul's arm slightly away from Annisa.

“He had breast cancer, Dul. Long time ago. His father Nisa was a contractor who moved whenever there was a big project. Actually Nisa can live with her grandmother here and not move. But he wanted to be close to his mother. And every move, the papa always bring his mother because of fear suddenly there is an emergency. Nisa four brothers. The youngest child and the other three boys. His eldest brother had a family, of which two were still in college. One in London, one in London. Now stay waiting for his elder brother because of work and live in Balikpapan. Report's done, Dul. We'll all excuse us first because it's late afternoon. You'd prefer it yourself, right? Solved Kak Lova safe.” Yani smothers her own mouth to stifle laughter at inopportune times.

“All cool information. But the end should not need to be said,” said Dul. Yani chuckles.

“OK, last sentence next time will not be said. I'm sorry to Nisa represent everything,” said Yani. Dul nodded and the girl slowly advanced towards Nisa.

“Nisa ...,” call Yani.

Annisa stopped tidying up her mother's face, then turned to Yani. He pulled a smile to look at Yani. “Still, yes …. Yani,” said Annisa after reading the name listed on Yani's uniform.

“We are all sorry, yes. Hope you recover quickly and get back to school as soon as possible. If there is anything, we are always ready. Especially our Chief Osis sitting behind you. We'd like to excuse now.”

Annisa briefly smiled as she looked back at Dul. “One more time thanks for coming here.” Annisa again wiped away her flowing tears. His feelings are now pitied by many people because losing his mother makes him sad again.

“Oh, yes. Dul hasn't come home yet. Still want to be here he said. So ... we excuse you now, yes.” Yani gets up and hugs Annisa. Although not crying, Annisa did not stop wiping her tears with a handkerchief that she had been holding.

The nine disciples then stood up and offered their condolences. At the exit they meet again with sister Mama Annisa who had brought them in. No one had seen where Papa Annisa was yet and no one had dared to ask her.

They all don't get dizzy. They are just teenagers who enough to go to his best friend is enough.

All his friends had said goodbye and the mourners went in and out. Annisa didn't budge the least from next to her mother. The girl repeatedly tidied up her mother's covering, then was seen gently rubbing her mother's cheeks, her hands, and the girl looked down to kiss her mother's forehead. Not only once, Dul saw Nisa repeat that while sitting there.

“Icha ... Auntie would like to grab Mama's long cloth, dear. Icha know where?” A woman came up to Annisa and squatted down next to her.

“Come, I'll take it, Aunt.” Annisa stood up and went into the interior of the house in the embrace of the woman who came to her earlier.

Before long, Dul saw the people sitting on the terrace standing. Looks like something new is coming. Then Dul remembered the words of Yani who said that everything was waiting for the eldest brother who would arrive from Kalimantan. Dul looked at.

Then two men entered the house together and immediately approached the body of Annisa's mother. Behind him was another man and a woman holding two boys under five.

From the whispers of mourners behind Dul, he heard that it was Annisa's three older brothers. The last one to enter is the firstborn and his wife.

Some time holding back the curiosity towards the existence of Papa Annisa, Dul finally felt satisfied. A man appeared still fully dressed.

“The road is jammed. Papa should've sampled it earlier. Where's cha?” ask Papa Annisa.

“That's Icha,” says the eldest.

Icha came back and approached his mother's body to its original place. “Kak, slide. I was sitting here,” Annisa said.

Her older brother only turned his head for a while then shifted to give a place. Dul saw one of Annisa's older brothers crying and two of them bowed in lethargy. While his father sat near the wife's feet and gently massaged her while looking down.

Dul has no idea what Annisa's family background is. He cannot judge unilaterally. But through his own glasses, Dul can see that Annisa is the one who lost her mother the most. One of them is Annisa's third brother. Others are also sad, but in a way and level that is interpreted Dul quite different.

“What time is it from Singapore?” ask Annisa's sister, number two.

“Papa should be able to get here by ten in the morning. But the sudden flight was a bit difficult. Papa didn't think this. Papa just went to a meeting one night. Though yesterday Mama was in good condition,” said Papa Annisa.

Suddenly Annisa looked at her papa. “Icha said don't go yet. Mama's condition is different. The medicine that Mama used to take runs out, but is not sought. Papa said nothing. Wait.wait. But Mama can't wait.” Annisa covered her face and came back crying. Her father approached and grabbed her into a hug. “Mama nanyain all. Where's Papa? Where's Brother Ardi? Where is Brother Ifan? Where's Brother Aris? Mom went away lonely. All of them are not.” His shoulders shook in his papa's arms.

“Maafin Papa..maafin Papa.” Papa Annisa kissed Annisa's head and rubbed her back.
