Dul

Dul
102. A Message Piece

The two-word message Lova sent to Dul, stunned the teenager. From the collection of several feelings that arise in his heart, Dul attracts one of the most obvious things. Namely, relief.

Not mean to be mean to Lova. The girl was very good with him. Become one of the filler colors of his teenage years. Maybe, maybe someday Dul will remember Lova as the first girl he ever held his hand.

As the first boy of a woman figure who often taught him to understand that everyone has a reason for something, Dul no wonder Lova said break up with him.

It's not fair that now he replies to the girl's message by asking back when they decided to date. After all, all this time he also kept the feeling of Lova by not too serving other girls who felt approached her.

No one forced her to stay with Lova but herself. As for Lova who was crying from seeing him kiss Annisa, Dul was sorry for that. They should be able to end that closeness for a better reason. Not that kind of thing.

Dul types a reply for Lova.

I'm sorry

As she guessed, Lova did not return the message again.

If asked about the cause of his change in attitude to Lova, in himself, Dul did not deny it was related to Annisa. But it is not likely that he thought of a teenage romance with Annisa.

All because of his shame on himself that seemed to be lulled with the ease he could since bearing the name of Son Satyadarma. Annisa who comes from a family is able to study more seriously than her. Plus the commotion caused by embarrassing things, helped dampen the spirit of Dul bearing the title of male student who has a girlfriend.

After taking a bath, Dijah came to Dul's room with a small box of P3K equipment. Some time he sat on the edge of the bed waiting for Dul who was unpacking the contents of his bag.

“You washed?” tanya Sejah as Dul empties the bag.

“Iya, dirty because ‘tadi’,” replied Dul, put down the bag and come to his mother. His tongue is only able to say the word ‘tadi’ replaces the word fight or commotion that in his own ear was not pleasant to hear.

“Don't let his handsome face hurt again, yeah. I hope this is first and last. Solving problems with muscle fighting can become a habit. Don't get Dul, amit-amit .. I don't want you to.” He applied the wound ointment to his son's chin.

“I can't promise for sure. But I did this first and last attempt,” said Dul, noticing his mother's eyelashes that instantly blinked upon hearing his answer.

Seized uphold body. “Kok, the answer is that?”

Dul laughs pulling his mother's hand and points back at his chin. “If the person who fusses first and wants to hurt me how? Or there are people who ridicule Mom, or Mima, or Dad .. there is no way to be fooled," replied Dul, holding a smile.

The colonized threw a small blow to his son's arm. “Have no fuss. Mom doesn't want.” The colonized finished applying the wound medicine and lowered his head turning the tube packaging lid slowly. “Mother trauma, Dul,” says Sejah slowly.

“Sorry.” Dul's words resemble whispers. He and his mother both knew what the trauma was about.

“Come, awaited at the same dinner table Dad. You haven't eaten either.” Sejah stood up for a moment waiting for Dul to follow him.

They went out of the room as Ibra cried in the back. Colored in a row ahead of Dul. Ibra was crying next to Mima who was laughing.

“Whether is his sister?” tanya Dijah looked at Mima who was still chuckling. Sejah grabbed Ibra's arm and led her to the dining table. Bara sat back and looked at the small commotion he had observed since.

“Hacked?” tanya Seached, pulled a tissue and wiped Ibra's face.

“I didn't hit, you know, Mom. Ibra bothers me first. Ngagetin used the rubber spider back and forth. That's why I didn't even cry. No exclamation,” said Mima, pulling a seat on the right side of Bara.

“Mas was also caged, instead of being injured,” said Sejah, hugging Ibra who held a hand on her waist.

“Mas wants to see how the commotion ends. Ibra was a bother first. So let them handle it themselves. Tomorrow Ibra may be kapok nodain Mbak,” said Bara nyengir.

“Can be very same son himself,” says Sejah pout.

“Not everything has to be broken. Father said, as long as it is not dangerous let them negotiate with his way.”

Dul arrives at the dining table after soaking his bag in the wash. He pulled the right seat opposite Mima. It didn't take long for the little girl to see the cut on Dul's chin.

“Ganteng—ganteng .. don't sneak,” said Dul took his plate.

“Neither ngeledek. Mas Dul, right, is handsome. My friend said hello,” cetus Mima relaxed.

“Gosh ... Mima …. Class five SD already use the show titip-titip greetings. Student is his job, yes learn.” Bara looked at Mima who pulled the cracker jar and opened it.

“Father relax. That's temenku. Not me,” said Mima.

“You don't do that,” says Bara.

“Iya, no. No one is handsome also in my opinion,” said Mima laughed.

“Gosh …. Request this disentil.” Bara pinched softly Mima's cheek. The little girl was even broken.

“Just father's godain,” Mima replied.

Ibra, who had finished her crying, slowly released her arms from the Sejahideen and pulled up the chair next to Mima.

“Well, deket again, right …. Kangen, right …. Ngaku..ngaku,” said Mima, rubbing Ibrahim's cheek repeatedly.

“Mima ...” Sejah squinted his eyes at the nosy Mima.

“Ehem.” Dul cleared his throat slowly. “Yah .. tomorrow—”

“So. Did you ask Nisa what time she left?” Bara already knew what question Dul was preparing for earlier.

“Later if I have asked and answered, I tell you,” replied Dul, glancing at Mima with the tail of his eyes. I was a little worried about his sister's reaction.

“Who's Nisa? Mas Dul's girlfriend? Where are you going, anyway? I'm coming, yes.”

“Mima at home. Same father who leaves tomorrow. It's a man's business,” Bara said.

“But I want to come too, Mas.” Colored rubbed Bara's arm with a little hard.

“Well, how is it, Dul? If you have come, everyone must come,” said Bara, grimacing at Dul who laughed resignedly.

“Ya. It's nothin. I'll let you know that Nisa has returned my message.”

Colored and Mima exchanged looks. After a long time they will finally see the figure of the girl who meets the criteria of Dul.

******

Dul's eyes widened as the alarm clock on his nightstand showed at four in the morning. It's too early. Dul rolled around fumbling behind his body looking for the phone he held yesterday until falling asleep. When the screen is wiped, the phone screen is still like yesterday. A messaging app where he and Annisa exchange news.

The message that Dul looked at almost last night was not a long message. Just a line of words, it says,

Tomorrow I leave the house at 10 a.m. The plane at 2. Wh why? Abdullah wants to see me?

Annisa is a figure who is not smart to mince words, asking it as if he was asking ordinary things. Though Dul's heart pounded uncomfortably when he opened a chat about the girl's departure tomorrow.

I read the message again and again. Also read a line of his own answers that made him shudder.

I want to see Annisa again. Tomorrow before ten o'clock I'll go to your house.
