Dul

Dul
051. The Mother's Son

Dul's heart feels very airy. As if the burden that squeezed him lifted because of a deep conversation with Mr. Wirya before noon. They sat around the dining table and talked lightly as if nothing had happened. Dul's awkwardness starts to unravel. And the rest of the day he forgot about his escape last night.

By late afternoon, the sound of the turnstile was heard being dragged. Following his habit all this time, Dul ran a little over the fence. His father appeared with a big smile.

"Dad laper. Uti cook not?" ask Bara. Before returning home, Mr. Wirya had contacted him about Dul. His heart was incredible relief. Plus the contractions of the Sejah which disappeared and can be declared home with two kinds of drugs, Bara also felt his body lighter.

"Uti cook Betawi soto," replied Dul. At the dining table, he realized that Betawi soto was not just an example of the story material of Mr. Wirya. But it is a cuisine that is ready to be eaten.

Bara put the car awaited by Dul who stood at the end of the fence. After the car is parked perfectly, Dul pushes the fence and re-lays the hook. Sealed out after the passenger section door opened Bara. Being trained to hold his stomach with a smile meant all sorts of heart contents that he had been holding since.

"Well eat?" tanya Sejah, combing Dul's hair with her fingers. Now he had to look up to see Dul's face more clearly. The boy had really grown tall.

"Udah eat. Mima ate too. Uti cook soto tasty. Come on, I have to eat too. Let her brother be healthy" asked Dul, holding his mother's hand inward. Straight to the dining room.

Sejah did not know the long story about the change in atmosphere that returned to normal. He sat in the dining room with Dul who took the dishes and filled the rice. There was only him and Bara in the room. Mr. Wirya and Bu Yanti were heard serving Mima's rant in the family room.

By that afternoon, Dul served Dijah and Bara in the dining room. Deftly spooning soto to the two bowls that he had prepared beforehand. Pouring the spoon and asking both parents to eat immediately.

"Thank you, yeah. Daddy's fatigue is reduced because of the gini," said Bara.

Dul nodded while pulling one seat to the left of Bara. "I'm sorry, Dad, Mom. Next time I won't do it again."

"I'm sorry, too" said Dijah slowly. Suddenly he felt choked and difficult to swallow the freshly spooned soto sauce. Don't let him cry again, thought Sejah. Everything is fine and will be fine.

I have said that throughout their journey. "Dad said, parents can be wrong too. If we are wrong, we must apologize. Children feel more valued. Children will also realize that we are also thinking about them."

Seized just daydreaming listening to the words Bara. There has been a lot of talk since yesterday. Forgive Fredy. Apologize to your child if they make a mistake or hurt their fragile heart. Life does not escape from wrong, the mind.

Feeling that the Bara family needs their own quality time, Mr. Wirya and Bu Yanti say goodbye in the afternoon.

"Why don't you take it anymore, Kung?" ask Dul in the doorway.

"I forgot to bring a book. Usually before going to bed Akung always read a book to quickly drowsiness. Yesterday night so late sleep," said Mr. Wirya.

"Why not read Dad's book? I have a lot of books too" Dul said.

"Many, anyway. But different genres, different tastes. Next time you want to stay here, Akung will bring a book. Besides.you have to be ready to take the SMP entrance test. Inget Akung message, whatever the result you still have to try as much as possible." Mr. Wirya massaged Dul's shoulders gently.

"Tonight we open the website and we register together. Dad's secretin, yeah." Bara hugged Dul up to the fence. Standing waiting for a taxi to stop perfectly in front of the house.

Dul stepped in to open the taxi door for Bu Yanti. Mr. Wirya chuckled happily at Dul's change. That afternoon they parted with the completion of one major problem. That is, making Dul accept who he is.

"really turned. Why have I not been careful all this time. Dul is a mother's son. His father's name is not listed," muttered Bara, staring at a birth certificate that read the name 'ABDULLAH'.

His mind was remembering when he first registered Dul in SD. He filled out the form without looking carefully at the photocopy of the file he was carrying. He quickly wrote down his name as Dul's father and signed all the forms at the time.

After scanning all the documents for SMP registration purposes, Bara entered all the files and he took them to his room. For that moment he didn't want Dul to see the file. Not-time. Later, thought Bara.

At the Dul study table there is no computer. For the purposes of his learning so far, Bara gave Dul an old laptop that can still operate properly. The laptop accompanied Dul for the past three years to complete computer subjects from his school.

"I'm looking outside. It turns out Dad's here." Dul's head poked out from outside his room. "We're listing now?" tanya Dul stood behind Bara. Look at the laptop screen that is on.

"Mmmm.don't get angry, yeah. I just listed you. Look at this," Bara said, clicking the 'download' button and a moment later a new page opened.

"No.not angry. It's engrossed! I'm glad I got registered. That's why I stayed and took the test, right?" tanya Dul, massaging Bara's shoulders sitting facing the laptop.

"Yes. Just go take the test. How could it be that happy, anyway? Kirain has made her own list. Type your own name." Bara looked back to look at Dul.

Dul chuckles. "Soalnya want to continue playing monopoly with Mima. I lost to Mima. He's arrogant. I became curious to lose him again," explained Dul. "I'm playing again, yeah." Dul walked out of the room.

"Who's the bank?" shouting Bara.

"Mother ...," said Dul from outside the room.

Smile Bara. That's enough, he thought. The current state of affairs was enough to make him happy. His son and wife played together laughing without having any worries. He just wants the situation to go on.

The tremors at Dul's study table left Bara stunned. A call came into his phone and Heru's name was on the screen. He seems to know what his cousin is going to say.

"Yes, Mom?"

"You're the one who's asking for it in the near future, right? I talked to Mas Heryadi. He said the day after tomorrow we can go to the rutan take Dul. You told Paklik. Because we really need professional assistance. I'm also a little worried about what Fredy's going to talk to Dul about."

"I have convinced myself that these meetings should not be postponed again. Mumpung talk with Daddy is still fresh and imprinted in Dul's memory. Lagian Dul wants an SMP entrance test. That's his father who was there what would not want if now again entered the new school year? Many ask it was a person," Bara's scolding half whispered.

"People in that prison don't want a new school year, Ra. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. What, you are this .... If it's the day after tomorrow, yes. I'm telling you about the time. Anyway you have to dance and be more handsome."

Heru hung up the phone before he could hear Bara's next scolding.
