Dul

Dul
038. Knowing Heru

Before the arrival of Bara to the cafe, Dul had already become an observer there. The atmosphere of the cafe at night was increasingly crowded. Two hours sitting there with Heru, Dul observed the various people coming in and out. The average man is dressed in an office, while the women are diverse. Some were seen wearing office uniforms, some were dressed casually.

Whenever anyone passed near them, Dul could smell her perfume. Some of them saw Dul for a while, then just passed by. Probably because he was the only child in the cafe. The dim lights, plus the music of Ballad, make Dul do not feel like he has spent a plate of spaghetti. Though the title of the night was supposed to be dinner with his father. The cafe was a new sight and atmosphere for him.

Moments before the arrival of Bara, Heru who had been facing the door, and swinging his head enjoying the music, suddenly shifted and turned to look at Dul. The man was not looking at Dul, but the glass wall next to them.

“Pakdhe, why?” ask Dul wonder.

“Ehem, did you see the woman who just walked in wearing the white shirt?” Heru slightly glanced towards the woman he meant, then looked back at Dul. His position was slightly slanted from the table that the white-washed woman had chosen.

Dul looked in the direction Heru intended. “See. Why?” ask Dul again. He still doesn't understand.

“Where does the woman sit?” Not able to answer Dul, Heru even asked back.

Dul again saw the woman in the white shirt. This time his view was not far away. The woman Heru meant was sitting right at the table next to them. Heru only stayed to look a little, then could see the woman.

“Women wear white shirt .. sit behind Pakdhe,” Dul said.

“Serious you?” Heru. Dul nodded. “Can-can Pakdhe neck sore because ngadep here continue,” said Heru slowly.

“Whose is it?” Dul doesn't understand at all. What possibilities make a man lazy to meet a woman? Dul had no shadow at the time. He only knows women who avoid men. Like his mother who avoided his father first. What happened to Heru? “Mmmm .. will the woman in the white shirt hit Pakdhe when she meets?” Dul's innocent question that made Heru immediately straighten his body.

“Mukul possible 'no. But it is better that Pakdhe does not need to see the woman again.” Heru further tilted his body to turn his back to the table next to them.

Suddenly the sound of an object made of iron fell from the next table and rolled under the table until it suddenly hit the end of Heru's shoes.

“Padahal just exited from the box. I just fell,” said the woman at the table next door.

“Yes, take. Ask for help to Mas next door,” said his friend.

“OK, wait,” said the woman.

Heru turned back again. “Dul ... grab the object near Pakdhe's feet. Quickly go back to the next table. Pakdhe can't go there.”

Heru took a breath and closed his eyes when he heard Dul's words. Hope the woman at the table next door is not too understanding the meaning of Dul's speech.

And it turns out, the hideout couldn't last much longer. Heru who changed his sitting position did not see the arrival of Bara. Dul, who was still covered with question marks, missed noticing the arrival of the man.

“Mas, really, my son is taught to be truant? Invited here anyway.”

Bara's cry was quite loud, making Heru and Dul equally surprised. “Casual, Ra. Today the three of us bachelors,” said Heru still with a position of snarl. His hand grabbed the menu and thrust it at Bara.

“Udah last day, should be dear missed. This why is it sitting like this?” Bara pulled the bench across from Heru and Dul accompanied by a astonished look. “Ngapain mengeliatin glass wall?” The soul of the journalist does not take it for granted. There must be something going on.

“Just the last hour. Anyway I happened to pass through the area, if I go back and forth to the office and pick up Dul, it could get stuck. Udah afternoon,” explained Heru, thrusting cafe menu on Bara. Hoping that Bara did not discuss the reason why he sat in such a position.

“Ya ... why go to this place,” said Bara, slowing down his voice. Hope not to be heard by Dul. Even though with such a close distance it is impossible that Dul did not hear it.

“What's really why? Dul is big. Get back to SMP. Afraid really if Dul talk macem-macem to his mother,” always Heru.

Bara raised the menu and slapped Heru's arm because of the words. “This cafe is not suitable for children. Make bringing a wife also does not fit. Can trigger questions—” Bara was silent not continuing his speech. His gaze collided with the white-tinted woman at the next table.

“Bara .. You're Bara, right?” ask the woman in the white shirt who recognized Bara.

“I-iya ... Mbak .. Mbak Rini how are you?” tanya Bara, glanced at Heru.

“Good—well, who are you?” The woman named Rini finally looked at Heru's back. His forehead frowned, the next second his eyes widened because they recognized Heru. “Oh, it turns out that the man did avoid me until now,” said Rini.

“Maybe not looking,” Bara. “Mas .. This is Mbak Rini. No squirming yet, right?” Bara looked at Heru meaningfully. For a moment he had understood the cause of Heru's sitting position which was strange since then.

Heru twisted his body and made a surprised look. “Oh, Rini .. I never thought we'd meet here. Just two?” heru asked, looking at another woman sitting opposite Rini.

“Yes, I'm together with my friends. Letta, know this Heru,” said Rini, looked at her friend and looked at Heru who stood reaching out. The woman named Letta welcomed Heru's hand. “You deliberately didn't squirm at me, did you?” todong Rini chuckled. He exchanged glances with Letta who was in front of him.
