Dul
174. The Hugs of Three Generations

“Nisa today leave at what time?” Dul just finished bathing and found Annisa sitting on the edge of the bed with a small piece that moved rowdy since dawn.

“Where to go? Look at this. The body is still anget,” said Annisa, standing hugging a small bundle that was immediately silent when she heard Dul's voice.

“Halo beautiful girl ... who, just shut up so hear her father's voice? Just be patient, yeah. Dad put on uniform first.” Dul attached the tip of his cold nose to the forehead of their baby girl. Makes the baby squirm in his mother's arms.

“Actually I can't get in today. Mas should also not need to ask Father-Mom to come directly. We have nothing to take care of our parents. Some babies have fever after immunization is natural. There's nothing to worry about. Salwa just wants to be carried like this.” Annisa puts a cheek on her baby girl's forehead. “Mother's son just wants to be overwritten like this, right?”

“No, if you don't go in. Moreover, his status is still a substitute doctor,” said Dul, stretching his broad shoulders when wearing a blue uniform.

“Sad, yes. His mother is a doctor but his son is sick even can not nurse.” Annisa put her cheek back on her baby's forehead. “This is her body heat for Mom aja.” Annisa closed her eyes.

“The important Salwa dapet ASI exclusive from her mother.” Dul tidied up his uniform then turned to look at the face of Annisa who was sleep deprived. “Salwa has been breastfed? If you are full let Mas help carry to sleep.”

Annisa shook her head then removed her negligent buttons one by one. She breastfed her fussy baby daughter after her immunization yesterday. “I just don't want to take care of Daddy Mom. Mas ngadu to Mom, automatically Dad must come. Dad never gave permission to go alone.” His index finger rubbed Salwa's cheek.

“Nothing. Mom wants to come here. Every day find a reason to come.” Dul approached Annisa and sat down before her.

The sight was becoming familiar to Dul's vision. Annisa remains beautiful even with a simple negligee accompanied by a sleep-deprived face because they have to wake up in the middle of the night breastfeeding their baby. Annisa's hair is still long although later the hair is more often rolled with a pinch behind the nape.

In the Air Force housing, Dul and Annisa are assisted by a middle-aged woman to cook and clean up just that. Annisa focuses more on the aid to keep her daughter for a while while she goes to work as a surrogate doctor at a mother and child hospital. He was in the hospital only four days a week. The rest of Annisa sometimes receives patients at home who are mostly residential residents.

“Udah sleeping, nih,” Annisa justifies the location of her clothes. Dul gasped from the daydream and his hands stretched out to welcome the bundle of happiness. “I milked ASI first, yes. You have to stand up. If later sat Salwa can wake up.”

With a swift Dul stood up to hold his son. Having a baby makes their early marriage life colorful, splashy and festive. Faces that have not been enough for each other must be willing to share with the presence of another little creature that demands attention.

“Padahal only use negligee, but still beautiful.” Dul smiled when he saw Annisa stringing the ASI pump deftly.

“Hmmm ... that's a sincere compliment?” asked Annisa without looking.

“Udah must be sincere. If his mother is happy, the milk must be smooth.” Dul reached out to rub Annisa's head. “Consider milk yes, beautiful mother,” said Dul, imitating the voice of a small child.

Annisa looked up and smiled. “Gendong Salwa can be in the living room or on the terrace.” Annisa pointed at the door of the room with her chin.

Dul shook his head. “Later the view of reddening ASI became a favorite Mas,” replied Dul.

Annisa sneering. “May ...”

Like the days of yesterday. They spent the morning with just three of them. Before leaving for work Dul makes out with Annisa and their baby. The gentle sweep and massage on Annisa's back was able to make two full bottles of milk in no time.

“Compliment therapy from Mas Dul is always amazing results.” Annisa smiled as she closed the milk bottles.

“Come here. Soon Father and Mother will arrive.” Dul was still standing in the doorway of the closed room. Salwa fell asleep quietly in her arms. “Before there are guests .. Mas want to kiss his beautiful mother Salwa. Who wants to leave the capital to join her husband in Magetan. Who has been diligent in cooking and caring for Salwa and his father. Who has become a dedicated doctor and is ready to help neighbors at any time. I am proud to be the husband of Annisa.” Dul wrapped his hands around Annisa's waist. Takes the woman tightly into her arms.

It became their routine in the morning. Annisa enjoys it when Dul sips the scent of her head and their baby's alternating. He wrestled spoiled in Dul's arms which were getting denser and denser. Circling her hands around her husband's slender and sturdy waist. The first lieutenant of the aviator did look even more handsome and seductive to him. Not expecting a quiet man who does not talk much is able to pass romantic, sweet and so sensitive when being a husband.

“Father-Mother is almost there.” Dul catches Annisa's body and kisses her lips long enough. Do not forget to make room for Salwa who is sound in the confinement of his parents' bodies. Dul releases his kiss as Salwa squirms. “Still enough time, right?” dul whispers in Annisa's ear.

“Salwa …. Uti dateng, nih.” The screams from the courtyard made Dul and Annisa realize that they did not have enough time that morning.

“Mas love Salwa to Mom, yes. We can...”.

“Enak. Cannot. Here,” said Annisa scooped Salwa from Dul's sling.

Outside, Colonized and Bara had already arrived. Again Mima and Ibra were left with Uti and Akung to be colonized with their grandchildren. In the last three months, he has gone back and forth three times to Magetan to see his grandson.

“It's Salwa, Uti ..” Annisa rushed to the terrace to meet the reinforcements for her. Although the baby was fussy that day, he could go to the hospital with a calm heart. The baby is in good hands. “Bu, Nisa take a shower first, yes. Dul is also ready to go. Salwa son Mother same Uti first yes ….. Mother shower.” Annisa swiped the tip of her nose on Salwa's forehead.

“Mas, hold my bag,” Pinta Diajah, pointing at the handbag stuck on his shoulder. “I want to carry this beautiful child. It's already missed ..”

According to the request of the colonized, Bara took the bag and brought their small suitcase into the house. “Depart what time?” asked Bara when he met Dul in the living room.

That's where the warmth comes from. From loving souls who want to make each other happy. In a simple parcel of dining room, four adults and a baby who were sound asleep in a sling surrounded the dining table.

The conversation that was flowing was actually ordinary. It is just a matter of daily life that they have done dozens of times, or even hundreds of times. In fact, everyday is still special in the ears of loved ones. Go and go home to work, make breakfast, or just some kind of baby diaper change. Everything is special to hear.

“Mas Dul much help Nisa, Mom. Early on moving here there was only one stove axis and pan. It was also the remains of previous occupants. Now the kitchen is already quite contains.” Annisa told me while spooning the fried rice into her mouth.

“The fried rice is good, right, Mom? Who cooked Nisa,” report Dul.

“But can't be dry, Mas. Here is the cooking oil I made a little. Cannot eat oil-oil directly.”

Seated standing from a chair with Salwa in her arms. “Mother bring Salwa around the backyard, yes.”

“Udah is sleeping, right? Why not put it in the room? Kasian carried on.” Bara rubbed the bundle of blankets in the deck of the Sejah.

“I'm still carrying a sling, Mas. Fragrance telon oil ngangenin.” Re-embraced kissing the top of his granddaughter's head.

While Bara unloads a small suitcase in the living room, Annisa arranges her provisions into a bag. In her daily uniform, Dul leaned against the back door frame staring at her mother, busy kicking for a three-month-old baby girl. His name is Salwa Atira Satyadarma. Baby girls who become complementary after a year of their marriage age.

Dul will always remember how the moment of Annisa's pregnancy after a month of marriage made them both dissolve in tears and a close hug full of gratitude. He and Annisa hug each other, kiss and struggle all night with a test pack with two lines that they intermittently see as a reminder there is a small creature that is growing in Annisa's womb.

Dul amazement. How quickly their happiness is complemented. He smelled a meaningful smile. He then went to approach the Sejah who walked slowly under the water guava tree while humming.

“It's not too late?” tanya was colonized when Dul arrived nearby. He lowered his head and his sandals swept the water guava flowers that had fallen to the ground. Without waiting for Dul to answer, Sejah again continued, “Still remember about the water guava tree?”

“Remember. One tree in the corner of the chicken coop. I heard he said those costs are no more, Mom? The land was purchased to make cluster housing.”

Sejah nodded. “Iya. The building does not exist. But our memories are still intact and nothing is missing a tiny bit.” The colonists still haven't looked at Dul. After being busy with water guava flowers, he was now busy observing Salwa's face. “Salwa long time like Mom yes, Dul?”

“I hear you still keep nanyain Ibu. You also keep telling me about me who is now a fighter pilot.” Dul did not answer the words about the resemblance between mother and daughter, but he looked up to observe the baby up close.

“Memories of your father have indeed stopped around that. About you...”

“And about Mom,” connect Dul. “About the two people you actually care about the most...”.

“Secondagus two people who suffered the most made,” continued Dijah then looked at Dul fixedly.

“I won't make a mistake Mom if Mom doesn't want to see Dad. I understand,” said Dul.

“Let's have time. We all just have to wait. Visiting or visiting.” Sejah took a long breath. “Dul ... we've been silently and calmly facing difficulties that suffocate us. We simply put in all the effort that brings us close to that dream. We don't have to explain everything. Most importantly we can prove that we can get to the destination. Isn't that right, Son?”

Dul wrapped his arms around the mother who was holding her daughter. “I love Mom,” says Dul.
