Dul
162. Bouquet of Flowers From a Uniformed Man

Annisa spent the time waiting for the graduation ceremony to finish by struggling on her mobile phone. With tears hidden, Annisa sends a message to Dul.

‘That's so good of you.’

‘Say if all this time you have never wished we could be together.’

‘I hate you. We don't have to see you again.’

‘Coward.’

‘Nyesel already know you.’

‘Waste of time talking to you.’

Annisa wiped her tears before leaving the chair. He had made up his mind to no longer meet Dul and accept the man his father had introduced. Lazy to think about the man he loves but no effort at all for him. Perhaps they were indeed not a match, lamented Annisa in heart.

“Where are you planning? We had lunch together before going home.” Papa Annisa approached as soon as the graduation ceremony was over. They're still in the building.

“Ariz where?” ask Annisa to her papa.

It seemed like Papa Annisa was a little surprised by her daughter's question. “Ariz outside. Why why anyway? Wanna meet? Come outside. Icha can meet Ariz. Ariz is always only when can I see his brother again.” An enthusiastic and happy voice cannot be hidden. Whether there was any wind until his stubborn youngest daughter was willing to ask the younger brother who six years was not accepted and always ignored.

Annisa smiles. “Icha want to meet Ariz but don't want to have lunch outside. Icha tired want to quickly fall.” His steps were no longer excited. In his head just imagined lying on the bed and crying as much as possible. Years of being in a relationship with the man he loves do not actually guarantee the relationship to reach the level of marriage. That day he wanted to feel sorry for himself.

“You sure you don't want to eat out? Icha has breakfast?” Papa Annisa keeps her daughter's steps. Until he forgot his wife who was stumbling in a long, skirt-shaped cloth worn to their daughter's special day.

“Icha just ate a piece of bread this morning. It should be at this hour, laper. If you don't want to eat anything yet. Rest in room only.” Icha's mother chimed in from behind.

Papa Annisa stopped his steps and waited for his wife. “You're okay if we go home, right? Maybe Icha again not mood.”

“His boyfriend doesn't come back, does he? Icha's girlfriend didn't come because of Papa. Shouldn't be. Papa heard that Icha is Ariz, right? I told you that Icha and Ariz are siblings no matter how upset he is. Icha must love her sister. And we can definitely convince Icha. Slowly Icha would want to accept me and the kids. If Papa still insists on rejecting his girlfriend Icha, when will our family relationship improve?” The woman whom Papa Annisa married several years ago also revealed her heart. Years of acting like a nemesis with the princess continued to make him quite tired.

“Papa has hurt Icha. You remember, right, if we married without permission from Icha?” Papa Annisa frowned looking at his wife.

“Udah years. Can't Papa talk to Icha if I love him? Icha is my only daughter. Icha won't have another sister besides Ariz. Icha is still the most beautiful in the house. Why can people who love each other be just as stubborn and proud? I'm tired of this situation all the time. I'm a kasian, Icha and Ariz's kasian, Pa. Let us give up first. If Papa accepts Icha's girlfriend, I'm sure Icha's heart will be soft on us.”

Papa Annisa was stunned and looked at the body of Annisa wrapped in toga stepping gontai out of the building. A pair of large doors were already opened and the graduation participants of the day began to unravel out one by one. The gazes of those who had been laughing slowly found its focus. A boy in the first grade of Elementary School who was asked to wait at a hawker stand with a housekeeper woman was seen at the door with a man in uniform.

“It ... who does Ariz know? Wasn't it the same Yati? Where yami? That's who—” Papa Annisa squinted to adjust his gaze under the glare of outdoor light.

In front of the door Dul stood with a bouquet of flowers while holding the youngest sister Annisa from another mother. In front of Papa and mom, Annisa's footsteps stopped. The tears that he had been holding back from earlier finally dripped as well. The figure of the man he swore in his heart since earlier.

Annisa looks equally shocked with her parents. “Ariz?” That's not the real question. Just an expression of astonishment. “Why can? Why?” Those words just came out of his lips.

“Sini! Right here! I met Mas pilot.” Ariz jumped impatiently but still held Dul's hand.

Annisa stepped out of the building approaching. Dul. Highlight his eyes straight looked at Dul who slowly pulled his steps so as not to disturb and pass people on the main door.

“Ariz?” greet Annisa, looking at her sister. Still embarrassed to look directly at Dul. He slightly bent down to pinch Ariz's cheek softly and tidied up the boy's hair.

“Doctor Annisa Inayah Abbas specialist in internal medicine, congratulations on graduating. Hopefully the knowledge gained can be useful for many people. Also ... dedicated in his profession and love of health sciences.” Dul thrusts a bouquet of flowers at Annisa.

Annisa has not recovered to her surprise. His hands still hung awkwardly on both sides of his body. It was immeasurable to welcome the bouquet that Dul had proffered.

“Nisa .. if you do not accept a bouquet of flowers from me, I will not be able to continue to the next paragraph.” Dul said very quietly and his voice was a bit worried.

“Oh,” says Annisa, quickly pick up a bouquet of flowers. He inhaled the scent of flowers and held them. “Wangi …. Thanks Lettu Airmen Abdullah …. Mmmm ... next paragraph what?” Annisa then pursed her lips. Trying hard to hide his impatience.

“Before the next paragraph you should see it first.” Dul looked back. Wait for a while until Mima, Ibra, Son, Robin and Yoseph appear with their respective accessories.

Annisa almost cries back when she sees Mima and Ibra standing holding a cardboard congratulating her graduation. “Mbak Nisa …. Congratulations yes ...” Mima.

“Robin holds a dozen colorful metallic balloons. “Nisa …. Congratulations .... Don't sulk again!” exclaim Robin. Dul grimacing. His message to Robin wasn't the words he just said.

“We brought this, Nis! Congratulations yes …. May Annisa be a sakinah doctor, mawadah, warahmah.” Joseph raised another large flower.

“Mistake a speech, Seph. It shouldn't be that one. That's for a later greeting,” whispered Putra. “Not read the sequence of events.”

“Sorry, Put. But I think Annisa was quite happy with what she said just now. Evidently she wiped the tears on her cheek.” Joseph whispered back.

“That came really rame ...,” whispered Annisa with a reddened face due to blushing. “There Mima .. kangen chat with Mima. Ibra. Robin, Son, Yoseph …. Everything is really good to come here.”

“Not rame. This isn't all. The team in front of you is now called the graduation greeting team. There are other teams.” Replace Dul pursed his lips for a while because of nervousness.

“What team?” Annisa circulated a glance behind Dul and the people around them. He also took the time to look back to see the reaction of papa and mother.

“This team ...” Dul took a few steps back. “Ariz follow Mas for a minute yes.” Dul ruffles Ariz's hair and takes the boy to pick up a bunch of parents who have been waiting for the cue to be allowed out.
