Dul

Dul
128. Ardhya Garini's

“When to Jogja?”

“Even semester breaks are usually longer. Yesterday Dad took me to Kalimantan to join nganter to his son Mbok Jum's house. You're on vacation too, right? Not coming back to Borneo?”

“Where is his son Mbok Jum's house? Borneo is huge. My eldest brother's in Balikpapan. Papa in Banjarmasin. Different cities.” Annisa grimacing.

“Yes too, yes. I also have not asked where his son Mbok Jum's house is. Don't-don't in Pontianak.” Dul and Annisa exchanged glances then chuckled.

“Abdullah cool, yes. AAU test must be difficult,” Annisa said.

“Annisa is also cool, really. Entering Medicine UI is also not easy. I became more ...”

“What?”

“Amagum.”

“Oh.”

“Annisa want to wait for me?”

“Means?”

“I'm again trying hard to aim the Combat Corps at AU. After two more years, I will go to the Flying School for almost two years. Plus one more year, so the total .. five years. Eventually, yes. But...”

“Abdullah want to say what? I usually understand. This time I dare not interpret it alone.” Annisa pouted while patting Dul's knee.

“Oke.” Dul straightened his seat and grabbed Annisa's hand. “Ehem. Since I forgot about the opening words that I memorized yesterday, so I will go straight to the point.”

“Ya?” Annisa's face turned more serious and she shifted her seat towards Dul.

“Will Annisa wait for me for at least five years? If you want .. I will apply for Annisa to become PIA Ardhya Garini. I need the answer now so I can sleep well.”

“Ha? Whatwasthat? Applicable so what?”

“PIA Ardhya Garini,” Reset Dul.

Annisa takes off Dul's hand and quickly reaches into the cell phone in her jeans pocket. He typed in a row of words in the internet search field while Dul boasted a smile.“PIA...Ardh.... Well, it's straight out. Ardhya Gari..ni?” Annisa raised her head looking at Dul. He just read the writing,

PIA Ardhya Garini

As the name implies, the AURI Wife Association Ardhya Garini is an organization of army wives serving in the Air Force (AU).

“Where?” Dul then clenched his mouth holding a smile. Annisa's shocked face was a little laughable.

“I think Abdullah wants to make me a girlfriend,” Annisa said innocently.

“Too long-winded if you ask that. How?”

“Hopefully want,” replied Annisa, chuckling. “At least something is awaited besides specialist schools.”

“Hopefully want?” repeat Dul can't believe.

“The intel. Want, want, want. I wait for Abdullah. Abdullah should also be willing to wait five years for an internal medicine specialist. Plus two years, seven years. Means longer time Abdullah's waiting for me.” Annisa chuckles.

“Abdullah pleads with me?” ask Annisa in a low voice.

Dul nodded. “Applied and secured for the next five years,” firmly Dul.

Annisa gulps. “Not expecting. Abdullah has changed. In addition to the more handsome ... Abdullah is also more dashing, firmly.”

“What else?”

“What else do you want?”

In the dim light of the porch lights that blocked the lush mango tree, Dul realized that the distance of their faces was only a few centimeters. Annisa's pitch-black hair framed her pale face.

As he was used to, Dul grabbed a lump of Annisa's hair and slipped it behind his ear. That time, both hands were free. He could wrap his right hand around Annisa's shoulder and his left hand grabbed Annisa's chin for a little look. He wanted to kiss the girl without hurry. So, when Annisa rubbed her cheek, Dul kissed the tiny lips again. A second ago, he had seen Annisa's eyelids close. Shows a row of thick and straight lashes. The next moment, he closed his eyes. The longer, the more the kiss melted him. His embrace on Annisa's shoulder grew even tighter and carried the girl tightly into her arms.

Until when Dul felt Annisa's hand tightly grip the front of his uniform, he stopped moving his lips. Then Annisa opened her eyes. They keep their heads away. Dul felt his face heat up. The kiss was too long. They sat quietly side by side regulating each other's breath. Also tidying their clothes, hair and back wetting their lips.

“Udah malem,” says Dul, breaks the silence.

“Iya. From earlier also malem,” said Annisa.

The two exchanged looks and laughed. “Then I'm sorry to go home now. Tomorrow we go to Akung's house. So ..?”

“So?” reset Annisa.

“Ardhya Garini?” Dul made sure to come back.

“Five more years,” firmly Annisa then hug Dul.

“Five more years,” reset Dul.

Then Annisa curled her hands around Dul's neck. Hugged Dul tightly and patted gently on the back of the young man whom he could not say clearly what his status was. Not girlfriend. Not fiancee. The young man was the man who proposed to her for another five years. “Thank you for coming. Abdullah has always been there for me in difficult times,” Annisa said.

“Please also because you don't have a boyfriend.”

Annisa rubbed her tears behind Dul's back while chuckling. He knew five years was not a short time. But now his days will be filled with studying hard, working hard, and waiting for a handsome young man to keep his promise. That night, in just a moment, a Sergeant Major Two Midshipmen Abdullah Son Satyadarma had made her feel like the happiest girl.
