Dul
150. Conversations of Two Generations

“You want to sit here? Or do we chat while eating?” All of them spread their eyes out to the small garden around them. The park is good enough to be a place to unwind.

“I'm new from the canteen, Om. Dad, he means,” annisa quick error. “Still full. Or is it you who wants to eat or drink in the cafeteria? I can accompany.”

Bara smiled as she shook her head and stepped closer to Annisa. “Daddy is still full …. Anyway if we go to the cafeteria everyone would want to come.” Bara shrugged to remind Annisa that there were still four more people besides them.

Annisa laughed a little. “It's not even exciting if they come? Definitely exciting.” The last two words Annisa said in a whisper. It was as if those words contained consolation for himself.

“Dad wants her, but Dad's worried about being considered presumptuous. So ... I don't want nanya, but I want to ask you for help.” Bara occupies a garden bench made of iron.

“Ask what please? I'm afraid I can't help much.” Annisa's face hesitantly looked at the empty place next to Bara. Should he sit there?”

“Wait. Dad looks like deja vu,” said Bara suddenly.

“What's the vu? Meaning?” This time Annisa didn't have to think twice about sitting next to Bara. “Daddy deja vu..”.

Then Bara laughed a little. A faint cry accompanied by a smile. “Dulu ... before Dad and Mom got married, Dad also asked Akung for help. Ask for help to persuade Mother who does not want to meet Dad.”

“Why? Why don't you want to see Dad? Stumpy? Because what?” Annisa wants to find an equation between herself and the figure of the colonized.

“The story is long and complicated. I can only say the subject. I'm not sure if I'm really serious.” I returned to laughing. “Persis. Akung and Mom sit in the garden. I can only see from far away. I don't want to see Dad. That time ... Father until cry for help to Akung.”

Annisa rounded her eyes. I stopped talking and returned to laughing. “Not. It's not. Dul did not cry. Even Dul did not know that Father and Mima, as well as his friends came here. We haven't eaten together in one table.”

“Dul already told us our problem? Or .... Daddy's here to cross check?”

“Dul no story whatsoever. At all. Dad's not here to check anything.”

Annisa shakes. “I won't say anything either. I don't want to because it feels like ... betrayed Dul.”

“Papa you don't like Dul, yes?” Bara impatiently ascertained his worries. “Not that Dad wanted to be presumptuous, but Dad was once in that position. Uti does not want if Dad married Mom.”

“Why?”

“Dad doesn't know. Is it possible because Dad is too handsome, huh?” She cupped her own face while laughing. “Someday you will understand what I mean. I'm not here to judge you. I just want to make sure.”

Annisa. “To be sure if me and Abdullah can still be together or not?” He looked at his pair of shoes. “I don't have a boyfriend or a close male friend. If you mean to know that.” Annisa looked at Bara with a serious face.

The face of Bara changed. The smile on his face disappeared as it caught the intent of Annisa's speech. “Dul never contacted me? Wait.wait. I have to slowly sort it out. Or ... Dad should ask Dul if he already has a girlfriend or not?”

“I don't know about it. I mean ... I don't want to accuse Abdullah of having a girlfriend.” Annisa stood up quickly. “Mima said, I want to take me to the Abdullah aviator wing embedding event. Rightly so? If true, my answer would be. I-i can. It feels like it has been too long since I met Abdullah.”

“Daddy is glad you want to come to Jogja. But somehow Dad's feelings aren't good either. I'm worried that the meeting in Jogja will further clarify the situation of your relationship.” Bara breathed a heavy sigh. “Now Mom misses you, but actually she's more likely to see you guys together. And at the same time I feel guilty for missing you because of your relationship. Understand what Dad means? Ck ...” Replace Bara who looks down at the shoes.

“Whatever it is .. I'm definitely coming. When, Yah?”

“You still just when the flight wing embedding event that means Dul did not contact you?”

“Abdullah keep calling me. I never answered the phone or read the message,” replied Annisa.

“You want to avoid Dul? So why would you want to come to Jogja?”

“Because Dad came here. I would appreciate anyone who appreciates me. Love anyone who loves me more.”

“Dul?”

“Not as I want,” firmly Annisa. “My phone number is still the same. Dad or Mom, or Mima can tell me about next week's departure. The phone must have been answered.” Annisa smiled clumsyly.

Annisa nodded. “I'm sorry now, Dad. Not that I don't want to chat for long, but twenty minutes I have a course.”

“Please. Daddy knows,” says Bara. That's not a banquet. He did understand that Annisa had indeed attempted a sudden meeting that day by skipping her break.

After saying sorry many times, Annisa finally left Bara. “The power of child communication is now much more difficult, yes,” Bara murmured. Recalling the four people who had been waiting for him since a while ago, Bara pulled out a cell phone and contacted one of them.

Meanwhile, in another part of the campus, three young men and a girl who had just graduated from High School were sitting in the corner of the cafeteria. Each is conducting an analysis of each student or freshman coming to the place.

“I missed everything. Nathalia is always at heart. At the end of the week we will worship as usual.” Joseph shook his head as Robin was about to begin her assessment of the girls who entered the canteen.

Robin scrunched his nose. “Just look at it, Seph. Not asked to apply directly. Like that girl just came in. Pretty, right? But unfortunately he's not my type. But if he comes in with me, I don't refuse. Yes you want too,” Robin explained.

“In beauty, anyway. But the time you all want. Should be able to make a choice,” timpal Putra.

“If everything is possible, why choose? Hayo, why try? Why, Mima?” Robin nudged Mima's shoulder with her shoulder.

“Yes too, anyway. If there is so much, why a little? That, right?” Mima rubbed his chin with his hands. His face looks so sad.

“Don't follow what Robin says. Since breaking up from the Duma, Robin has become more cynical,” timpal Putra.

“People who fight will still lose the same ones that bear. But come to think of it .. I haven't actually broken up with the Duma. He just wanted to be persuaded. But unfortunately I was lazy to persuade. That's the problem.”

“That's the problem. But that also included a big problem for me. Mima...Mima is beautiful, it's her phone on.” Yoseph pointed at Mima's phone at the table.

“Setia same Nathalia you said. But follow you call Mima Beautiful.” Robin snorted towards Joseph.

“I just mention reality. Nathalia is beautiful, but not as pretty as Mima. Love can, logic also must still be the way.” Joseph defended himself.

“Dad nelfon. Can you just calm down for a second? Kaya Dad and Mbak Nisa have finished chatting.” After listening to Bara's words on the phone, Mima immediately got up from the chair. “We're in the parking lot now. Go home. Next week Mbak Nisa come to Jogja.”

Everyone stood together. They all walked in silence towards the car park. Busy in his mind.

“No idea Dul turned out to be a fighter pilot.” The son voiced his heart.

“Kerennya again, Dul entered the selection of Fixed Wing aviators, fighter pilots. Her job. Not a router aviator, that transport aviator.” Robin was voicing his thoughts.

“You any aviator, I think stay cool. Compared to those of us who can only fly wishful thinking and dreams.” Joseph half-gawed saying it.

“Next week to Jogja,” Mima without spirit.

“Should be happy, right?” putra asked, looking towards the car park where Bara waved towards them.

“Happy. Must be glad that Mas Dul graduated. But if later in Jogja I can not meet someone,” said Mima.

“Udah play girl only Mima. Do not let the little Mima first ride the guarantee from us. Malulah we.” Robin chuckles at embracing the Son.

And Annisa's promise was really fulfilled. Just two days before the flight wing, Annisa arrived at the airport as promised.

“That's Mbak Nisa,” said Mima, running a small approach to Annisa who just arrived with a blue taxi.

“Sorry that Nisa made Daddy Mom wait a long time. We're not too late, are we?” Annisa's breathing was a little breathless.

“Not too late. Still two hours away,” said Bara, his hands outstretched gesturing to a wife and three children who followed him.
