Dul
004. Reasons to Hate

Because of the joy of his heart, Dul unconsciously shook the hand that was in his mother's grasp.

“Stenns?” tanya Sejah's.

“Seneng. Lots of temen, Ma'am the teacher is good. The school is good,” replied Dul.

“Mother seneng if you are seneng,” sahut Colored.

Dul still looked up to see his mother's face. However, his footsteps came to a halt when his mother suddenly stopped. They just arrived by the highway. The sun was already starting fiercely above their heads. Short distance travel that is not up to ten minutes. His mother decided to ride the angkot so that they arrived faster at home.

Dul looked ahead. Looking for the cause of the change in the face of his mother who was immediately so fierce.

“Shock me here?” Fredy's voice sounded half-calling. Though the distance of its establishment with the Colonized is not too far away. It seems like he has been waiting for the arrival of the mother and child.

Who else could make his mother's face so? Yes, father. Dul was scared and upset. Is her mother gonna get hit like that tonight? He felt his hands sweat in his mother's hands.

Dul saw that Dijah did not respond to Fredy's words. Dul's footsteps slightly shifted backwards as Fredy walked up to them.

“I want to donate money to my son. Here, take.” Fredy held out a piece of blue-colored paper money.

“Don't take,” said Dijah, turning Dul at a glance, then his gaze moved on Fredy. “No need to give money. Take aja for you,” again.

Dul felt his heart pounding faster. His head turned around looking at anyone around them. He was prepared to scream if his mother was beaten again.

“Your work is not clear, Jah. But Dul I give you money, you kayak no need aja.”

His father's face was red. Between the influence of hot daylight and other causes that Dul does not understand.

“Nothing. Don't give Dul anything. I can still. You're quite unsettling me and my son, it's been a great relief for me.”

Dul tightened the grip on his mother's hand. She became more worried because of the courage her mother answered. It's okay to take his father's money. The important thing is that they can get out of there right then and there.

“Take!” sergeant Fredy, with a restrained cry.

“You want to embarrass the child you admit to being your son? It's his first day of school. Fifty thousand voices are noisy. Come, Dul. We go home.”

Unknowingly, Dul pulled his mother and the woman took two steps back because of his efforts.

“Udah drying. I'm not ashamed anymore. Ye? What is the shame of fifty thousand? If people know you call your child once a month fifty thousand, you will be betrothed. Save your money.”

Fredy took off the bag that Dijah was wearing, and changed it by gripping the woman's arm. “You said yourself that my money is illegal. You expect much?” challenge Fredy while closing his mouth. His jaw was twitching because of emotion.

“Bu ...,” call Dul. It felt like he wanted to take the money from his father's hand and take his mother quickly away from the place. She was afraid that her mother would be beaten again until she bled.

“Nothing. Sorry, yes, Dul.” Sejah again glanced Dul, then threw Fredy's hand that touched his arm. “Because it's illegal money .. but you only know fifty thousand. If money is halal, how much can you tell? Don't follow us.” Sejah dragged Dul to walk down the side of the road. Stay away from Fredy who yells at her.

“Basic loonte! Doubt it! No need for. Until now I have not been able to marry again. Find who wants to be with a poor widow like you!”

His father's cry behind them, made Dul turn back. The screams began to attract attention. Even a woman who just came out onto the highway and hugged a child in the same uniform seemed to slow down the motorbike to steal the listen.

“Don't look again,” pinta Colored on Dul. “Later he embarrasses us even more,” he continued.

“That's take, Mom. Let me not be angry,” said Dul timidly.

“Dul, Denger Ibu.” He spoke without stopping his steps. The sound of Fredy screaming in the back was getting closer and closer. The man did not give up. "You can't take anything from your father. Even if it's your father. He has never paid you right from birth. And the money—uangnya not clear. I would not be willing if for fifty thousand you eat money that is not clear. I can still make your feein.”

“Hey, Colored! You see that woman who walks ahead? That's my pretentious ex-wife who doesn't want her son behind. He also prostitutes. She's a whore. But he said my money was illegal money!”

Fredy started to go crazy and Dijah turned his head back to look at the man.

“Come, Dul, we take the angkot!” exclaim Sejah, raise your hands on the passing angkot and lift Dul's body to rise.

Dul felt his consciousness still scattered. Not yet fully and not fully aware. A few seconds so fast, he was already sitting at the back of the angkot and looking out at the glass wall. His father was seen screaming and holding hands at them.

When can he live a normal life like other children, Dul asked in his heart.
