Atlas: Lightning From The Wild West

Atlas: Lightning From The Wild West
59: LUCK

The Black Hole was originally only attracting light items. However, slowly the magic got stronger and almost dislodged the roofs of buildings in the City.

"So short, but I'm sure there's still a lot to investigate from this case." Miller.

Miller was still panicking, he stood up while thinking hard to figure out a way to deal with the situation. While Indra sat on the ground while leaning against the wall of the building behind him as if nothing happened.

"Well, you're not gonna investigate anything after this whole town is swallowed up by whatever's on top of that." Reply Indra while looking at the black hole in the sky.

"Why can you still be that calm? A City will be gone in a moment and you can be this calm as the City's residents run for their lives." Said Miller who was increasingly upset to see Indra.

"People will definitely despair at this time, but I have no hope at all in my life. You can't give up when you don't have any hope." Reply Indra.

Miller wanted to use his dark magic to try to attack the black hole. Just before he launched his attack, Indra held Miller's hand to stop him.

"If you do it will only accelerate the loss of this city, the only thing that can stop the magic is the magic light from the fire, the lightning, or the light magic itself." Indra.

"Then do you have a better solution?" Miller asked glared at Indra.

"We can't wait for Misha anymore, we can only see if my magic will recover faster than that black hole devouring the entire city. Again, it's about luck." Answer Indra.

Indra and Miller's original plan was to hold Asmodeus until evening while hoping that Misha would return in the evening, Misha's light magic was the most effective against Asmodeus. However, with the black hole that will sooner or later devour the entire city, that option is no longer reliable.

Moments later, the black hole grew stronger and began to attract heavier objects. Asmodeus was just silent as he floated in the sky, he just seemed to want to show just how big a difference their strength was.

Unexpectedly, a gigantic fireball flew towards the black hole and exploded in the sky, instantly eliminating the black hole.

Seeing that, Indra laughed a little

"Look, we're very lucky, aren't we? It was a greater favor than Misha." Indra.

"Who is that?" Ask Miller.

"Have just sat down, the exciting show starts now." Indra ignored Miller's question.

Asmodeus who saw it was shocked to see the huge explosion, without a second thought Asmodeus immediately shot towards the direction the attack was launched.

Asmodeus saw a red-robed man with blue eyes standing up from the direction the attack was coming from. That man must be Ignis. He was the Great Witch who was supposed to witness the destruction of the Primordial Pearl. But now everything goes outside of plan.

"So they didn't destroy that thing?" Ignis Cibir.

"So you did that? Perhaps this part of my soul is no match for yours. However, you are an opponent worth fighting against!" Asmodeus.

Ignis stood without looking up where Asmodeus was floating in the air. Then suddenly Asmodeus' wings began to burn and made him fall hard, not long after Asmodeus touched the ground, Ignis came and then stepped on Asmodeus' left wing bone. Even Asmodeus was puzzled, before Asmodeus was able to easily see the future in order to dodge the attacks that threatened him. However, when dealing with Ignis. The ability to see his future was useless, when he tried to see his past future, he did not see Ignis move. However, after he finished seeing that future, Ignis had already stepped on the bone of his left wing.

Something felt very awkward for Asmodeus when facing Ignis. Ignis then stomped on Asmodeus' left wing bones harder and made the fire that burned Asmodeus' left wing stronger. Ignis strangled Asmodeus who was screaming in pain.

Asmodeus who was originally screaming in pain suddenly burst into laughter.

"What's so funny?" Ask Ignis.

"No, you're strong enough. Blue pearls still won't be enough to fight you, I need my soul residing in the purple Pearls to rival you." Answer Asmodeus.

"That doesn't answer my question." Ignis then used his fire to burn Asmodeus' body.

Asmodeus again screamed in pain despite his screams still tucked away in his laughter.

"When I get back, you're the first person I'm gonna be looking for." Asmodeus said in his screams.

"That's not gonna happen." Ignis.

Shortly after, Indra accompanied by Miller came to approach his father.

"You're on time, dad." Indra.

"Indra's? So you've returned from the Northern Territory? I thought you'd spend a little longer there." Reply Ignis.

"Indra, don't you know from the beginning that Mr Ignis is coming?" Miller's question cut them off.

Indra did not answer and just shrugged both of his shoulders.

Ignis patted his dusty red robe.

"I heard you went to WOA headquarters lately, what do you think of that place?" Ask Ignis.

"Eh? Do you know where that came from?" Indra asked back.

"Your mother Weather Painter told me that." Answer Ignis.

Indra was immediately shocked to hear the words of her father.

"That strange woman is my aunt? Wait, aren't you and Avalance's uncle just two brothers?" Ask Indra.

"I'm sure none of us ever said that we were just two brothers." Answer Ignis.

"So what do you think of WOA headquarters?" Ask Ignis again.

"WOA headquarters is a strange place, but at the same time it's amazing, moreover there are only two people guarding the place." Indra.

"Indra, I happen to want to talk to you about something. However, I have a few things I have to take care of with the WOA people, once everything is done I'll pick you up." Ignis.

"Maybe, but I won't stay in one place." Reply Indra

"That's not a problem." Ignis walked away.

A short time later, Miller asked Indra a little.

"How can you go to WOA headquarters?" Ask Miller.

"Yes, Avalance took me as his companion when he visited." Answer Indra.

"Where is that place?" Ask Miller again.

"Wherever they want." Answer Indra.

Miller looked puzzled after hearing that.

"I understand your reaction, that's why WOA headquarters is the strangest and most amazing place I've ever been." Indra said again.

"Then what do you mean about the place being guarded only by two people?" Ask Miller again.

"That's because it's only inhabited by two people. The grandson of the hero of the world, Avos. He was the leader as well as the oldest Great Witch, then there was another Great Witch there. She was Weather Painter, the person we were talking about, she was a really strange woman, she didn't want to be called by her real name." Answer Indra.

"By the way, Miller I'm hungry. Do you know where to eat lunch around here?" Ask Indra.

"Who would open a restaurant in a situation like this? Sometimes I think, are you actually pretending to be stupid? Or you're a fool." Answer Miller.
