22: POTENTIAL

POTENTIALITY

Arriving there Indra was surprised to see the entire field was again burned. However, the candles remained lit and did not even melt the stem. The whole fire from Linda flowed out. However, the fire in the candle can still be controlled.

Indra was amazed at the potential of the boy.

"Great.. You've made it!" Indra.

Linda opened her eyes and was shocked by the results of her own magic, as if she herself could not believe it. He was also unable to extinguish it anymore, leaving it besieged by its own flames.

"AH…! THE TEACHER! HELP ME!" Linda panicked inside the circle.

"I don't have anything to put out the fire, so you think to yourself. I'll wait for the tree" Indra replied who immediately moved away.

Moments later, Linda somehow managed to get out of the ring of fire. Indra had long been waiting for him while sitting leaning against a tree.

"TEACHER! WHY DON'T YOU WANT TO HELP AT ALL?!" Ask Linda who is still upset.

"If only that can scare you, it means that your journey is still long. Oh right, I didn't expect you to be angry either, that lethargic face was not very suitable for anger. What about smiling? I think it will fit better with your face" Indra replied while still rendering herself under the tree.

Hearing that Linda felt a little embarrassed and finally did not reply again.

"But, I didn't think you could solve it that easily. We have plenty of time now, how? Do you want to continue your training?" Ask Indra who finally stood up.

"We continue!" Answer Linda.

Indra sighed.

"Alright then" said Indra.

"We move to the city alone, this exercise does not require a field" Indra continued.

The two of them finally returned to Lunar, they stopped in front of the courtyard of the Indra inn.

"Wait a minute" said Indra who entered the inn.

Shortly thereafter Indra came out carrying a boiled pot, a bucket of water, a boiled pot holder, and a piece of cloth.

"What are we gonna do with that?" Ask Linda.

"Your training" replied Indra briefly.

Indra then arranged the boiled pot so that it was ready to be used.

"Where's the firewood?" Ask Linda again.

"We won't cook" Indra replied.

Indra filled the pot with water and covered it with a cloth that he had brought with him.

"Now your practice is a practice to focus magic. As you saw yourself earlier, you haven't been able to focus your magic. This is your practice, use your fire from under the pot and make the cloth burn. Don't forget, if the water boils then you will fail, you can do anything with the panc. However, do not leak the water. The spirit!" said Indra who immediately turned her body and immediately walked away.

"To be precise, you just need to focus your magic to one point. It was no more difficult than putting lightning into the pinhole" Indra said, stopping his steps for a moment.

"I'll wait until tomorrow. I can see your potential now. From tomorrow you won't have to come and bring 2000 more gold pieces. You could say, I have really admitted you as a student now" said Indra who then entered the old inn.

Linda seemed to be starting to understand Indra's intentions. However, he felt that there was something strange.

"WAIT! HAVE YOU EVER PUT LIGHTNING IN A PINHOLE?!?" Linda asked in surprise.

Indra did not answer.

Inside the inn, the Granny sees a busy Linda outside.

"Indra, who is it?" Ask Grandma.

"You could say he was my student. Take it easy, grandma. He will not stay without paying" Indra replied.

Indra knew, even though Linda's face was lethargic like that, she was still a noble who certainly had quite a lot of money.

Until the next day Linda was still unable to burn the cloth. Indra did not even reprimand her when she went back and forth from the inn to the Bounty Store, not until Linda managed to do so.

In addition, Indra also had to find traces of Monter. However, Monter seemed to be indeed someone who was good at removing his tracks. He searched almost all the wanted posters in the Bounty Store and found no one associated with the Necromancer. In the West, there is certainly no information. However, he hoped that there would be information in the Northern Region. Unfortunately, Indra did not have time to go there.

Linda was still in trouble, many times she almost made the water boil. At first he was a little less convinced by Indra's training method, the method given was arguably strange. However, the more Linda lived through it, the more reasonable it made for her as well.

Soon two people came to the inn. Miller and Misha.

"Hey! Miller! Don't force yourself!" Misha.

"I appreciate your concern, Misha. But trust me, I've improved. But okay, instead of me adding weight to your mind I'll just take a break" Miller replied.

Linda who is still in trouble attracts Misha's attention. Misha then drives Miller in and returns to see Linda.

"While training to focus magic huh? That's a good way!" Misha sat next to Linda.

"You know that? But I can't do it yet" Linda replied.

"Just taking magic out of your hands won't make any progress" Misha smiled.

"Then what should I do?" Ask Linda.

"That's easy, have you ever seen a nail plugged into a balloon? The balloon won't break until the nail comes out. About so the parable. Didn't your teacher explain it?" Ask Misha.

"No. Honestly, the training was pretty weird. But now I'm starting to understand. The point is I just need to punch a hole in that pot and seal the hole with my magic, right? Don't let go of the magic until the cloth burns. I get it now!" Answer Linda.

"Even so, the practice will be more difficult than the theory. Then I go first, spirit!" linda pamit said.

Meanwhile, Indra was still in the Bounty Store as he was also still not ready to take on his first mission in the Guild. Several times he heard that his fellow Bounty Hunters mostly felt that they were less suitable as Adventurers. Especially the ones with Indra. It made him a little nervous. What makes them feel that way? It was what he asked that made him still reluctant to take his first mission.

He also did not dare to ask Aurora and Noah who had already claimed that they were not suitable to be in the Adventurers Guild. The only person she could ask was Misha. Because only Misha is his friend who became an Adventurer, plus Indra's friend who can be counted with fingers. A little pathetic indeed.
