23: FIRST MISSION

FIRST MISSION

"Who was that? You knew her?" Ask Miller.

"Murid Indra" answered Misha.

"Huh? Where'd you know that?" Ask Miller again.

"Easy... do you know? I even found out yesterday that you were flirting with a waitress in Avalance Castle"

Miller was speechless, his face slightly embarrassed and clearly looked panicked.

"Sir, have you seen Indra?" Miller asked Grandma to switch the conversation.

"Indra…? As I recall he said he would go to the Bounty Store and then go to the Adventurer Guild"

"GUILDS?!" Misha was surprised to hear that.

"That indra? Sounds impossible" Miller said.

Meanwhile, Indra was still hesitant to take his first mission in the Guild. But he still tried to leave.

In the Guild it emblazoned many missions on a special board. After he started reading it one by one, Indra understood why the Bounty Hunters including himself were less suitable to be adventurers.

Unlike the Bounty Store, every mission in the Guild should not be done alone and without exception.

Indra tried to go to the receptionist from the Guild.

"Indra! We meet again! Can I help you?" Katlyn asked Indra who had just arrived at her desk.

"Are there no missions that can be done alone?" Indra asked.

"Um. sorry, according to the rules one mission must be taken by at least 2 people. However, if you are still having trouble finding a party maybe you can follow 'Dungeon Raid' is a little difficult, but take it easy there are quite a lot of adventurers there" replied Katlyn.

"Can you explain more about this Dungeon Raid?" Ask Indra again.

After obtaining his location, Indra rushed out, he came out almost simultaneously with a beautiful girl of his age. It was obvious that the girl was a witch type. The girl was dressed like a witch in general complete with her hat.

"I'm sorry I eavesdropped on you. You're also going to Dungeon Raid?" Ask the girl.

"Yes" replied Indra.

The girl nodded

"You want to go together?" Ask the girl again.

"By" replied Indra.

Instantly everyone who heard that fell silent while gulping.

Indra was initially confused, until he saw the girl's identification made of gold. He finally understood why people suddenly saw him like that. It was only natural for people to be shocked when they saw a bronze adventurer receiving an invitation from a gold-level adventurer.

Indra has already asserted that he could not retreat. I don't want him to be with that girl.

"I'm Cheryl, greetings" Cheryl said.

"Indra" reply.

Shortly after, the two of them arrived at the location. There are many traces of people there. However, it seemed like they had all entered into the cave that was right in front of Indra and Cheryl. There was something strange inside the cave, Cheryl and Indra could feel it.

"What's that…? Indra, it seems like whatever is going on in there is very dangerous. I'm going in. And you have to wait here!" Said Cheryl who looked scared.

Indra nodded and soon after Cheryl entered the cave.

Meanwhile the Guild was apparently being struck by panic. Those creatures might be dangerous. However, the more dangerous thing is that their colony will soon return to the nest.

At the same time, Misha finally returned to the Guild after putting her things in the inn. Seeing everyone panicking, Misha comes to Katlyn's desk.

"What's this?" Ask Misha.

"ah! Misha! Are you back yet?! Thankfully, there was actually a Dungeon Raid that turned out to be Wyvern's lair, and we had already sent many adventurers there" Katlyn replied.

"Lately the Wyvern population in Compax is increasing rapidly" Katlyn continued.

"How many gold levels?" Ask Misha again.

"Cheryl was a person, and she only brought one person with a bronze level" Katlyn replied.

"I felt sorry for Indra, but it was her first mission. I hope Cheryl can hold it for a while" Katlyn continued.

Misha laughs.

"So Indra is really here? Then there is no problem anymore" said Misha.

"But Indra is just a bronze-level adventurer" Katyn retorted.

"If you see it as bronze-level, you'd better see me like that too" Misha said.

"Alright, because you insist that maybe I will also go there" continued Misha who immediately walked away.

Hearing that Katlyn understood that Indra was a figure who might be equivalent to Misha who incidentally was one of the strongest in the Guild. Considering Indra had just made trouble with Greaz who was also one of the strongest in that Guild.

Indra sat in front of the cave that was supposed to be the place of the Dungeon Raid. Shortly after, Indra saw the adventurers who had managed to survive running frantically out of the cave. They are visibly seriously injured, seeing that Indra immediately provides first aid with some healing potions that happen to be carried by Cheryl. Indra also happened to bring some to add to Cheryl's stock because she also rarely wore it.

"I'm grateful to be safe, it's all thanks to Miss Cheryl" said one of the people who was relieved after coming out.

"Miss Cheryl was great, she slaughtered all the Wyverns just like she was killing insects" the other replied.

Suddenly the feeling of the wind there changed, as if something was approaching from a distance. They all do not realize it except Indra, because of his unpleasant feelings Indra immediately used his magic carrying black clouds in the sky. Indra used her magic to prepare for whatever was to come.

Meanwhile. In the Southern Region, the population of Wyverns also suddenly increased rapidly as if the Wyverns were no longer at home in their old homes. Avalance seems to have known the reason why many Wyverns nesting outside Nosferat (the land of monsters) Avalance knew that the reason the Wyverns migrated to Compax. Avalance sat on his throne while pondering over it. Suddenly a soldier approached Avalance to report.

"SIR! … SIR!!" said the soldier who sounded panicked.

"Speak!" Reply Avalance.

"One of our prisons has been broken into, sir. The prison that was broken into was the prison that Ken occupied. Only two men infiltrated to free that man. However, we are not even a match for those two people, they are twins who look quite young. One is male and the other is female. They both cut off all the guards" the soldier said.

Avalance smiled slightly.

"Ignael and Iglea? Never mind. they will definitely be taken care of by someone. For now we have to deal with Wyvern's growing population" Avalance said.

The soldier saluted and immediately walked away.

"Chaos Dragon has already started to move. I have to put aside my conflict with Ignis for a while, I'd better leave the matter of the twin brothers to Indra" Avalance said.

The exploding population of Wyverns occurred because the Chaos Dragon arrived at Nosferat which is the closest outer State to Compax. The arrival of the Chaos Dragon which carried the curse made many Nosferat inhabitant creatures migrate mainly to Compax which is the closest place of Nosferat.
