STILL WANT TO GROW

It was three days after the fight of Indra, Miller, and Misha. One morning, Indra wakes up and sees Misha and Miller, who are begging to be trained by Bella.

"No, I have two children. I don't have time to train you guys" Bella said.

"We please! We'll do anything!" Miller replied by pleading with Bella.

"Anything?" Ask Bella.

"Really! Anything!" Answer Miller.

"Alright, I'll train you for a month. On condition that you take care of my two children in a whole month" Bella replied.

"That's a good condition!" Reisth said from his desk wiping the wine glass.

"just that? I thought the conditions would be more difficult" Misha said.

Bella laughs.

"Too fast to talk, Misha" replied Bella.

Indra who was still sleepy then sat next to Cheryl who was also observing Bella and the others. Cheryl also looked like she was preparing to leave.

"Hows it? Already used?" Ask Indra.

"Yes, the atmosphere in this place is always warm and makes me comfortable" Cheryl replied.

"Not that, my God. I mean, are you used to being a Bounty Hunter?" Ask Indra again.

"Eh? Uh! Pardon me! About that, I'm used to it. However, I dare not take on a mission that requires me to kill the target" Cheryl replied.

"It's not your fault, almost everyone has compassion. Killing people carelessly can give you regrets in the future" said Indra.

"Have you ever regretted killing your target?" Ask Cheryl.

"No, those who choose to die. I just made it happen" replied Indra.

"Oh yes! I'm sorry I haven't been with you lately. I'm a little busy too" Indra continued.

"It's okay, it makes me more independent" Cheryl replied.

"Where are you going, by the way?" Ask Indra.

"I have to go home today, I can't leave my job as an Adventurer for long" Cheryl replied.

"I can't blame you, the income as a Bounty Hunter isn't as much as the Adventurers" Indra replied.

"You want me to impress the Magic Horse Stroller? I will pay for it for you" Indra continued.

"No need, I've been troubling you a lot. I'll ride a regular horse-drawn carriage" Cheryl replied.

"Then I will take you to the city to look for it" Indra said.

"Cheryl, do you want to come back? Can't you stay any minute? Though I intend to take you for a walk in this Region" Misha said after hearing Cheryl was intending to return to the Eastern Region.

Cheryl laughed.

"The next time we'll do it, Misha" Cheryl replied smiling.

Moments later, Indra escorts Cheryl to the town of Houustin in search of a horse-drawn carriage.

"Indra, you have no intention of owning a horse?" Ask Cheryl.

"Why did you suddenly ask that?" Indra asked back.

"It's nothing, it's just that you westerners are always close to the horse" Cheryl replied.

Indra sighed.

"It's up to you" Indra said.

"Wait, why are you suddenly angry?" Ask Cheryl again.

"I'm not angry" Indra replied.

The two of them passed through the arid ground accompanied by quite hot sunlight.

"You're not going back east, Indra?" Ask Cheryl.

Cheryl put on a slightly disappointed face. However, even though Indra wanted to return to the East, there was nothing he really had to do there. The Bounty Store in the Western Region had already re-operated after quite some time.

Soon enough, the two of them finally reached Houustin City. There, they immediately searched for an empty Horse Car to rent. After a while of searching, they finally found a Horse Stroller that was carrying nothing. They finally rented the horse.

Cheryl got on the train and said goodbye to Indra.

"See you in the East, Indra!" cheryl said as the Horse Stroller began to move slowly.

"Yes, don't be deterred from coming here!" indra Reply.

Indra then felt a little lonely after Cheryl left.

"All right, now what?" Ask Indra to herself.

A few days after that, Indra still arrested the criminals as usual. However, he felt a little strange now. Usually he did not earn anything but money while on a mission, this time he slowly began to realize that he would not be able to develop if only against those weaker than him. But that doesn't mean he wants to grow. At least not for that moment.

Indra usually rents a room in Houustin City. However, he prefers to return to the Angel Eyes Saloon as his two best friends are also settling in while there. He gets to Angel Eyes along with Miller, Misha, and Bella who seem to have gone home from training. Since the defeat of the two of them a few days ago, the two friends of Indra began to practice again.

"Indra, don't you want to practice with them?" Ask Bella.

"I have no reason to go back to training" Indra replied.

"You're not afraid of me chasing? If that time comes, then you won't be able to come after me anymore" Miller said.

"Do you really think Indra would care about something like that?" Ask Misha.

"No one is willing to be pursued by anyone else" Miller replied.

"There, Indra is one of them" replied Bella.

"It has only been a few years since you left this place. However, now each of you can even flatten a city alone" continued Bella.

Bella then smiled.

"I haven't seen the three of you regroup and argue with each other for a long time. I remember the times when you were a kid" Bella said.

Evening arrived, Indra still did not go to sleep in the middle of the night. Indra then went downstairs, everyone except Reisth seemed to have fallen asleep. Because he could not sleep, Indra intended to drink a glass of liquor to help him sleepy.

"Not slept?" Ask Reisth.

"I can't, maybe a glass of drink will make me sleepy" Indra replied.

"All right, what do you want?" Ask Reisth again.

"I want the heaviest drink you have" Indra replied.

Reisth also began pouring many drinks into his drink shaker.

"What is your relationship with Cheryl?" Reisth asked while shaking Indra's drink.

"Cheryl? He was a good partner" Indra replied.

"really? Every time Misha and Bella talk about you in front of her, she always pays close attention. You sure you don't have any feelings for him? I thought you two had a special relationship" Reisth said as he picked up a glass and put an ice cube into his glass.

"Let's know, I've never felt anything like it before. So I'm not sure" Indra replied.

"Reisth, what do you think is the purpose of developing yourself?" Ask Indra.

Reisth looked at Indra with a confused look.

"What a strange question. However, in my opinion, developing yourself is a way to prove that you are not the same person" Reisth replied as he poured Indra's drink and served it.

"Thank you. Prove to whom exactly?" Ask Indra.

"Of course to yourself, prove to yourself in the past that you are different from him" Reisth replied.

Indra smiled then grabbed the drink served by Reisth and finished it in one gulp.

"Good answer, Reisth" said Indra who left a few gold pieces on the table and walked out.

"Where are you these nights?" Ask Reisth.

"Develop yourself" Indra replied at the exit before finally exiting.

"Hey wait, your gold is less" Reisth said after calculating the payment from Indra.
