LIGHTNING FROM THE WEST
Thundering lightning continued to strike in the sky of the village, the bandits paying no heed to it they thought it was just ordinary lightning. However, there was one thing they did not know. The thunderous roar was just a magic belonging to a Bounty Hunter who was just waiting for time to level the village of the bandits.
"Well" said someone from the top of a cliff not far from the village.
It was also a rain of lightning hit the ground and destroyed anything there. Before knowing what happened the bandits were already lying on the ground along with it as well their residence collapsed and was burned by the fire.
"It looks like it's over" said the man again.
He then walked towards the village carrying some rope. When he was already in the village the entire black cloud that enveloped the place instantly disappeared, leaving the sun that was still shining brightly.
The man then tied up all the villagers and dragged them away. He dragged hundreds of people at once without any distress, and then walked back to the city dragging them.
His name was Indra. He was a Bounty Hunter "Gift hunter" who was arguably even the best in the west. He had just taken a bounty from a bandit who he said was in a village full of bandits. However, due to the difficulty of finding people on the poster of the bounty "The price of a fugitive, could also be as a request for services" he decided to destroy the entire village and bring everyone there. It should be okay because the contents of the place are just bandits, thought Indra.
A little while later Indra finally reached the city of Houustin, Houustin was the only city that was quite large in the west although not as big as the cities in the east. The city looks shabby and the buildings there are still made of wood even though they have been seen to stumble.
Arriving there Indra he went to the Bounty Store "The place to take the bounty or deliver the bounty" located on the edge of the city, the place was much worse than the middle of the city. Indra then arrived in front of the Bounty Store, the building was seen to have collapsed, the wood in the building was also mostly stewed. However, fortunately inside the place was not as bad as the outside. All buildings in the west are like that outside over time will look more rotten but the inside will certainly look much better than the outside.
Indra then went inside the place leaving the bandits he dragged outside the owner of the place then greeted him.
"Hei Indra, you're fast too when you just took the assignment. So you've brought him?" said the owner.
"Not him, but them" replied Indra.
"They? Whatchu mean? Wait, don't-don't..." The owner of the place then ran out, he was surprised after seeing hundreds of bandits outside lying just on the ground, Indra then walked after him.
"Mustahil ... all fugitives" said the owner of the Bounty Store after checking the faces of the bandits one by one.
"Why do you look so moody? Isn't this beneficial to both of us?" Indra asked while confused to see the reaction of the owner of the place.
"Stupid! If you spend all my bounty then what am I gonna eat?" The owner of the place replied with annoyance.
"Whatchu mean? Are there not tens of thousands of pieces of gold for you as well? Plus, every week there will be a new poster" replied Indra.
"Lately there's been nothing, ever since your best friend Miller rose the ranks again, the number of criminals has dropped dramatically. I didn't believe it at first either, but after they rarely brought bounty posters I finally started to believe" the owner said.
"That's right .. Miller. Would he let his friend starve to death?" Indra Gumam.
"You said something?" Ask the owner of the place.
"It looks like you should go to another city that has a Bounty Store, because I'll be temporarily closed" the owner said.
"Isn't this the only Bounty Store in the West?" Ask Indra in confusion.
"To be precise, inevitably you have to go to the eastern region precisely Lunar City" replied the owner of the place
"Yaampun .. well than I'm just unemployed in this city" Indra replied.
Moments later, the owner of the Bounty Store handed Indra a bounty of 10,000 gold pieces, he also gave a letter.
"This is your bounty, by the way this is a letter from your umtuk center, this letter I always forget to give since 3 months ago only today I finally remembered" said the owner of the place while handing over the letter and gold coins.
Indra then immediately opened and read the letter.
"This is written a new system and also added several levels to the Bounty Hunters, and I here write Special Level and also rank one. What exactly does that mean?" Ask Indra.
"So, I don't know about this new system either because it's been 4 months there are no new bounty posters coming so I don't understand either, maybe you can ask at the Bounty Store in Lunar" replied The Owner of the place.
Indra then left and returned to the city center to visit a clinic and buy a drug.
"Hey Anna, I need the usual" Indra told a doctor there.
"How many times have I told you to call me 'Doctor' here? You must have been intentional" Anna replied as she ruffled her clinic's medicine cabinet in search of the drug Indra was looking for.
Anna is a good friend of Indra since he became Bounty Hunter, he also often helps Indra if at any time Indra is injured because of his work whether it is a minor injury or a life-threatening wound.
"By the way, it seems that for a while I will go eastward, precisely Lunar City so I will rarely stop by" said Indra.
"I've also heard, it turns out that for 4 months there has been no new bounty poster, right? I'm sure that's your reason" Anna replied as she wrapped Indra's medicine.
"Oxianna's doctor is indeed great, he is even able to guess something like this" Indra said in a mocking tone as she put down some gold pieces to pay for the medicine.
"If you run out of this medicine just come to my sister's clinic. Her clinic is located not far from the Public Park in the Lunar City" Anna replies ignoring the words of Indra.
"Alright, I'll make sure to stop by there, maybe" Indra said with a goodbye.
After Indra said goodbye to Anna he then immediately began his journey to the Lunar City. In contrast to the small and slum-lined western cities the eastern towns look larger and grander. However, the criminal level there is very high even higher than the west, which is why it is very suitable for Indra to hunt down bandits.
