18: LEADERS AS BAIT?

LEADERS AS BAIT?

They both ran after the trail they found. However, the trail disappears in the middle of the road and Indra and Miller cannot track down the culprits.

Indra looked upset and agitated at the same time.

"Damn it!! Just watch them!!" Indra was upset.

Miller recently saw Indra overwhelmed with emotion, always seeing her friend as calm, albeit a little annoying.

"But it's strange that they can't remove their tracks in the middle of the desert like this" Miller said.

"Indra, calm yourself down. There's still a chance they're hiding around here somehow" Miller continued.

Indra sighed trying to calm herself down.

"I think you're right, let's investigate first" Indra replied, looking calmer.

Indra and Miller are trying to make an investment around that last trail. However, it still could not find anything.

Indra tried to notice the traces again until he finally realized something.

Indra prepared to use her magic and the ceiling was already filled with black clouds different from before. The clouds looked much darker than the usual Indra clouds. Miller could feel Indra's anger from the clouds. However, Miller still did not know what Indra wanted to do.

Indra used his lightning to strike right in front of the trail he had lost. The lightning snatching immediately made the entire place tremble strongly. The edge of the cliffs around them landslides. Miller saw Indra's gaze that was completely filled with hatred. Even the lands there were still shaking after the one lightning that Indra used.

"The indra!! Whatever you're doing, I think it's overkill!!" Miller.

From a distance even Misha in Angel Eyes could feel Indra's lightning. Even little kids like Rana and Rani feel uneasy.

"Don't cry.it's just lightning" Misha said as she swung the two babies in her hand.

"What are they both doing…?" Ask Misha to herself.

Indra's lightning scars made a hole there and inside the hole someone screamed in pain moments after Indra used his lightning.

"Great as well as you! I didn't expect you guys to actually find me" said someone from inside Indra's lightning hole.

"You know what we want" Indra said looking at him.

"I'm sorry, but I can't. The corpses are very useful to us Necromancers" he replied.

"We? So there's more than one person." Miller said.

"That doesn't matter now.Where are the bodies you stole?" Ask Indra firmly.

"I brought some, the rest of my friends took it. You could say, I'm just a decoy" replied the man.

He jumped out of the hole and was seen using magic. A green aura was seen around his body, in the instant dozens of corpses came out from underground, the corpses looked intact even though they had been buried for many years.

Indra and Miller knew that necromancy magic did not regenerate corpses. However, if there really was such a thing they should be a tough opponent.

"After we arrest him we can get information about the headquarters or their members. I don't think it's that bad" Indra replied.

"capture me? Good luck with that" said the Necromancer.

"Oh yes! I haven't introduced myself, have I? I am the 'Monter' leader of the necromancers" Monter continued.

"Oh..so the leader himself who came to be the bait" said Indra.

Indra and Miller were not surprised to hear it because after all this guy's necromancy magic was on a different level.

"His own leader is the bait?! That doesn't make any sense!" Miller.

"Looks like he knows what we're capable of, he doesn't underestimate us. However, still he will be a difficult opponent" Indra replied.

Without much further ado, Indra and Miller immediately lunged at Monter. Their fight lasted not long. Indra and Miller take turns to land a blow on Monter. But none of them hit it. His movement was also agile making Indra difficult to aim at him with lightning. Monter begins to strike back, using the corpses he raises to face Indra and Miller.

It's not hard to fight them. However, the troublesome thing is that they will continue to rise until the magic user runs out of energy or is also conquered. However, both of these things cannot be done by Indra and Miller.

Indra and Miller are no match for Monter. After a while of fighting, there was no need to waste energy for Monter to beat and subvert the two of them.

"I guess, it's not wrong that he is their leader" said Miller who was battered and could not move anymore.

"Didn't the Necromancer suck at fighting without her magic? However, why did he.." Indra's reply was no less severe than Miller and Indra also began to lose consciousness.

The black clouds that filled the sky earlier also slowly faded after Indra's defeat.

"Now...what can I do with you two…?" Monter.

Miller had also begun to lose consciousness after exhaustion in the face of Monter.

"Maybe the two of them can be good soldiers, alright. I'll raise you. After I kill you first .. of course" Monter said to himself.

Misha's feelings are still not good in Angel Eyes after feeling Indra's lightning is not as usual, therefore she decided to catch up with Indra and Miller.

Monter tries to get close to Indra to kill him. However, he had not had time to do something a large fire hit him and made him thrown.

"Damn it!! Who's that?! Dare-dare-" Monter did not continue his words after seeing the figure who threw the blaze.

The person who shouldn't be there. From the top of the cliff not far from that place was a person in a red robe.

The figure did not need to speak to make Monter silent. Even though they were staring at each other from a distance. However, eventually the Monster finds out who that person really is.

"That's. Ignis. What the hell is he doing here? He is my target, but I am no match for him at the moment. Then why did he stop my attack earlier? What don't-don't…? No, I still seem to be lacking information. Better to retreat .. for now" said Monter who immediately left from there leaving Indra and Miller who were unconscious.

"Necromancers? It's been a long time since I've seen one" Ignis said from the top of a cliff far enough away from Indra and Miller's place

"However, I didn't expect the boy to be alive. Indra. The lightning was quite great, I think he was comparable to Ignael or Iglea" continued Ignis from a distance observing Indra.

"The question is.. Will you be an ally or an enemy? You should have been an ally if you hadn't exposed the incident 7 years ago. However, it must be impossible. Only the higher-ups of the Southern Region were aware of the incident and possibly Avalance. However, if otherwise. I won't hesitate because from the beginning you were just a child who just happened to survive" Ignis continued.
