LETTER FROM AVALANCE
That same night, the cities were engulfed in mass panic. After the news that Wyvern's population had soared hundreds of times over, the citizens began to panic. The government tried hard to find a way to help the adventurers face the Wyverns, when they remembered the existence of the Bounty Hunter and the police. Wyverns love meat, and human flesh is no exception. With their population rising, it will automatically bring disaster to all corners of Compax.
Meanwhile Indra and the others were relaxing without knowing the panic in the city.
"Oh yes, Indra. There was someone who left a letter" Miller said while giving a letter to Indra.
Indra immediately opened it and knowing that the letter was written by Avalance, it looked ancient. However, also having its own beauty, Indra began to read it.
"It's from Avalance!" Indra.
"Indra, I wrote this letter to convey some things to you. The first was the reason why the population of Wyvern suddenly soared high, namely the Chaos Dragon. The dragon seems to be in Nosferat and it makes Wyverns and other monsters will come out of Nosferat, Wyvern will certainly come first because only they are able to fly. Sooner or later, those Wyverns will attack the citizens immediately.
Secondly, Ignael and Iglea had already started to move. I hope your plan goes smoothly, sorry I couldn't help you take care of it for a while. I'm going to Nosferat to look for Chaos Dragon there's a good chance your father, Ignis was already there first. I understand so well Ignis's grudge with the cursed Dragon, even I have a grudge against him myself.
Lastly, I need someone who can help protect the Northmen as long as I am gone, I happen to think that you are a suitable person. Of course I will not ask for help for free, I have provided your payment. I suggest bringing in associates like Misha and Miller. However, I'm sure they will also be busy taking care of Wyvern in the East right? If you want to know more, just ask my servants at the castle.
That's all I have to say, Indra. I hope you don't reject this request. Lightning From The Wild West.
- Avalance"
"I didn't expect the situation to be this complicated" Indra said after reading the letter.
"What's up, Indra?" Ask Miller.
Indra then explains about the reasons behind the rising Wyvern population and Avalance demand. Indra did not tell about Ignael and Iglea, they were Indra's own business.
"You sure you want to go to the Northern Territory again, Indra?" Ask Misha.
"I have no choice, Avalance helped me a lot in uncovering the events of 7 years ago" Indra replied.
"Linda, I will temporarily postpone your training" Indra continued.
Linda just nodded looking at Indra who looked serious.
Indra intended to leave the next day, therefore he immediately went to bed after dinner, to go in the morning.
The next day, in the early hours Indra had left without saying goodbye, he also carried Avalance's letter in his pocket. Outside he saw a lot of people patrolling, whether it was ordinary citizens, adventurers, or bounty hunters.
On his journey, Indra suddenly met Cheryl who seemed to have passed by.
"Hi Indra!" Cheryl.
"Hi, are you just passing by?" Ask Indra.
"No, I've been on patrol since last night" Cheryl replied.
"By the way, Indra. Are you the one who massacred those Wyverns?" Cheryl asked back.
"Isn't that Misha?" Indra chose not to answer.
"Misha doesn't have that kind of magic, plus the only person who looks so calm there is you. All right, I'll change my question, who are you, Indra?" cheryl.
"If I told you I was Lightning From The Wild West, would you believe me?" Indra asked back.
Cheryl speechless.
"See you" said Indra who immediately left.
Cheryl follows Indra to the magic chariot.
"If you're that guy, try to prove it!" Cheryl.
"I can prove it if you come with me to the Northern Territory" Indra replied.
Without a second thought, Cheryl immediately followed Indra into the magic horse carriage.
"Why are you heading to the Northern Territory?" Ask Cheryl.
"Do you know Avalance? He offered me a task in exchange for which I could not refuse" Indra replied.
"Avalaise? KING AVALANCE?!" Cheryl was surprised to hear that.
Indra tells how Cheryl faces if Indra says that Avalance is her uncle. Even Cheryl wouldn't believe it.
"By the way, what's your reason for covering up your identity?" Ask Cheryl again.
Indra sighed tiredly as Cheryl kept asking.
"I never hid it if I was a Bounty Hunter. However, if I have to be an adventurer it's a different story. If I become a gold-level adventurer I will find it difficult to get out of the Guild, plus I have no intention of becoming an adventurer in a long time" Indra replied.
A few hours later, Indra and Cheryl finally reached the Northern Territory. Indra told the chariot driver to head straight to Avalance Castle.
Cheryl began to feel cold, although she wore a magician's robe she seemed to remain cold. Indra took off her brown jacket.
"Wear it" Indra said.
"But what about you?" Ask Cheryl.
"It's okay, I'm used to being cold" Indra replied.
After coming down, Cheryl hesitated. He was afraid that they would be expelled, just because Indra was commissioned by the king does not mean Indra could freely enter the castle of the king. However, a servant approached them and bowed before Indra.
"Welcome Mr. Indra. It's nice to see you back. I'm sorry Mr. Avalance can't come and greet you today. And you must be Mr. Indra's friend, happy to meet you, Miss" said the waiter.
"Please pass by here" continued the Servant.
"Alright, show me the way" Indra replied.
Cheryl was surprised because it turned out Indra was even warmly welcomed by the servants there. Plus it turns out Indra has been there before.
"Sir, do you mind if I ask you something?" Ask Cheryl.
"Please Miss!" Answer The Servant.
"Why should King Avalance welcome Indra?" Ask Cheryl again.
Indra laughs.
"Oh. That's because Mr. Indra is the nephew of Mr. Avalance" replied the Servant.
"NEPHEW?! That means.." Cheryl's not done talking. However, Indra cut it.
"Yes, I'm the son of Ignis. Believe it or not, it's your business. However, take it easy, I know everyone's opinion of Ignis. I hate that guy too" Indra said.
Cheryl was too much surprised that day, first Indra who claimed to be Lightning From The Wild West, then the fact that Indra was the nephew of the King of the Northern Region, after all, and the last is the revelation of Indra's father who is a Tyrannical King from the South.
