VILLAGE OF BANDITS (AGAIN)
"Take it, right now the job won't hurt me. The number of crimes in the region is on the rise for some reason" the person said.
"really? You're not gonna scold me anymore, are you?" Ask Indra.
"No, it's just that right now they're making me even more anxious" replied the man.
"I think I know the cause" Indra replied.
"There's no need to care about the hostages in the village. It is certain that there are only bandits there" said the man again.
The reason for that was definitely the work of the Necromancers, it was not clear what their true purpose was. However, distracting the criminal eradicators is the best step to start moving without being tracked.
There is too much that Indra is thinking right now, not usually he has a lot of thoughts. The last two years of his job were only hunting down bandits. But right now he has a lot of problems. Starting from uncovering the truth of the massacre that occurred in his village. The problem of his father and uncle. Plus, the problem with the Necrosummoners. Somehow, all the problems are connected to each other.
Indra and Cheryl then immediately tracked the location of the village which seemed to be in the southwest direction of the City of Houstin. It was not difficult to track down a village in an area filled with arid land.
"I do not believe, the crime rate in this region even increased after being exterminated once" said Indra.
"Why didn't the police destroy the village?" Ask Cheryl.
"That's an easy question, it's because the Territory prefers vigilante. Therefore, the number of police officers is very limited. People prefer to be Bounty Hunters or Adventurers" Indra replied.
"Although that's the case, there are still some of them who might be equal to me" Indra continued.
After a while later, they finally managed to find the village of the Bandits. The village was similar to the one Indra had destroyed just a moment ago, only this one was much bigger. Indra and Cheryl observed the village from the top of a cliff.
"It feels like deja vu" Indra said.
"What should we do?" Ask Cheryl.
"I've already obliterated a village with 'Thunder Extinction' but. All righty! Then let's just attack it all directly!!" Indra.
"Thunder Extinction? What'sthat?" Ask Cheryl.
"That's the name I use for my lightning that instantly takes out many enemies at once. Just like when I massacred the Wyverns" Indra replied.
In this mission Indra does not want to look flashy considering this is Cheryl's first mission as a Bounty Hunter, Indra intends to hold back and let this mission run longer.
Indra and Cheryl then immediately ran to the village and began to beat and tear down anything in front of them. The bandits who were already aware of their attack started to pick up weapons and immediately surrounded the two of them. However, the strategy was less useful against Indra and Cheryl. Indra pulled his new sword from the scabbard and immediately slashed through the hundreds of bandits at once.
Cheryl is also not inferior, with the wind she makes a whirlwind that attracts almost anything around, not least the buildings.
"Great, you know what's bigger than a windstorm?" Indra asked while handling those bandits.
Cheryl had no time to answer.
"A lightning storm" replied Indra himself.
Black clouds now appeared filling the sky, lightning was now striking the bandits.
Cheryl used her wind to make the clouds surround the place. With the wind he also made a funnel in the midst of the clouds. That was the Tornado they managed to create, a Tornado that carried a lightning strike inside. The tornado sucked everything around it including all those bandits. Indra and Cheryl began to worry about the bandits.
"Indra, isn't this overkill?" Ask Cheryl.
"You are right, this attack is not suitable to be used against bandits who are too weak. Let's stop it" Indra replied.
Slowly the black clouds in the sky faded until they finally disappeared. Likewise with the wind that blows very fast before, now becomes calmer. However, there is still a problem. The bandits who had already lost their consciousness while being sucked in by the tornado began to fall from the sky. Fortunately, Cheryl was able to land them seamlessly thanks to the wind.
Cheryl breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank God we made it. It wasn't hard, it was just that the tornado was too much" Cheryl said.
"You're right. However, we can keep it if in the future we will meet a terrible enemy" Indra replied.
"Now the problem is how do we bring these bandits. There's about 800 more here, any ideas?" Ask Cheryl.
"Whatchu mean? Isn't that easy? Just drag" replied Indra.
"Steret said? Stupid, that's inhumane" Cheryl replied.
"They are bandits, plus it's still legal in the region" Indra said.
"Eh, wait. Our job is to eliminate these villages, not capture them. Then let the police handle it. It's better for both of us to come back to take the rewards" Indra continued.
"What if they just wake up and run away?" Ask Cheryl.
"No, we broke a lot of their bones. Even if they are sober they will not be able to walk, I make sure to break their legs, although not all" Indra replied.
"Where did all your experience come from? Every fight you always know the best way to end it with a victory, at least that's what I see often" Cheryl said.
"It was just a coincidence, after all the number of battles we fought together could still be counted on the fingers right? Believe me, it was just a coincidence" Indra smiled.
From the look on Indra's face only Cheryl knew that Indra was lying. However, he did not continue the topic because perhaps Indra had his own reasons for not answering
Soon after, they returned to the town of Houustin. At the Bounty Store they came to take their pay. At that time, Cheryl realized she had absolutely no evidence that the work they took on had been successful. He only realized it after being inside the Bounty Store.
"AH! FUCKIN' SHIT! I FORGOT TO TAKE PROOF OF THE SUCCESS OF HIS MISSION!! WE MUST RETURN SOON!!" Cheryl panicked.
"That's not necessary, stranger. If Indra had taken it, I would not have needed proof. He was the one who always finished his work perfectly" the Owner replied.
"Eh? She's that good?" Ask Cheryl.
The owner laughed.
"You're funny, stranger. He wouldn't be the number 1 Bounty Hunter in the country if he wasn't that great. However, I must admit that sometimes he sucks" replied the owner.
The owner of the place then took out a bag of gold, for Indra and Cheryl.
