32: THE RETURN OF AVALANCE

AVALANCE'S RETURN

Meanwhile, in the Eastern Region. The Wyverns had been exterminated, of course because there were Adventurers and Bounty Hunters there. The police and military also helped. It is not difficult for the Eastern Region and the Southern Region. The Eastern Region had Adventurers and Bounty Hunters, while the Southern Region had a very strong military power.

The Western Region and the Northern Region were in different conditions. The Western region did not have a capable military force and the Adventurers and Bounty Hunters there were not many strong ones. Then the Northern Region was "medium" in a condition where their military was weakening, plus the Northern Region did not have a Guild or Bounty Store just like the Southern Region.

Misha and Miller returned to the Western Regions to help out there in a horse-drawn carriage, knowing that there were not many strong people there. The Western region is famous for its wild nature of its citizens because it is also rare for tourists to go there, the tourists prefer to go to the Northern Region or the Eastern Region.

They both assumed that Indra had already gone first to the Western Region.

The first place they visited was the Angel Eyes Saloon. The Wyverns had already filled the Western Region and were ready to rally the two men.

Unfortunately, those Wyverns were no match for the two of them. However, the Wyverns were superior in numbers plus again when it was the morning before noon. It might be quite beneficial for Misha who uses light magic. However, the story is different for Miller who has dark magic.

Those Wyverns might indeed not be their match. However, Misha and Miller were outnumbered. It overwhelmed them and Miller could not do much with his magic. They were no longer far from the Angel Eyes Saloon. However, those Wyverns were really annoying.

Suddenly a huge wave of water appeared and led to them. The waves swept them away with him. The waves managed to make the remaining Wyverns retreat. Then Bella was seen standing from the direction the waves appeared earlier.

"Misha, have you collected? It was only two years after I last trained you, and look now" Bella said from a distance.

Bella then approached Misha and Miller who were coughing due to being swept away by the waves.

"We are just outnumbered" Misha said.

"I don't think I can blame you guys for that. However, if it was Indra he would easily finish off hundreds of Wyverns with just his lightning" Bella replied.

"You may indeed be on par with Indra. However, the magic mastery of that child is far above you. I was always curious about the figure of 'teacher' that he always told me about" continued Bella.

"Is it okay to leave your kids there?" Ask Miller.

Bella laughs.

"Don't underestimate Reisth too much, Miller" replied Bella.

"So, Reisth is a pretty strong person?" Ask Miller again.

"No, he's just good at hiding" replied Bella who was still chuckling.

"I thought so" said Misha.

"By the way, where is Indra? Isn't she usually with you?" Ask Bella.

Misha and Miller looked at each other as if perplexed.

"Wait, so he's not here yet? We thought he was gone first" Miller replied.

"That's weird." said Bella.

"For now, we better go to the city. Reisth and the kids are already there to take shelter" Bella asks.

At the same time in the Northern Region, Indra was still unconscious. Cheryl sits next to him worried because Indra has not yet woken up.

Cheryl herself was also still exhausted, it made her sleepy and fall asleep beside Indra. Soon enough, Indra finally came to her senses and the first thing she saw was Cheryl sleeping on a chair. Indra then saw that the whole room was filled with hundreds of people who were seriously injured, Indra then tried to wake Cheryl.

"Chery! … Cheryl! Let's wake!" Indra whispered.

"Come on! There are still people who need this mattress" Indra ignored Cheryl's question and pulled her hand, Indra took Cheryl out of the room.

"If you want to sleep, go back to your room" Indra said.

"Sorry, I'm just sleepy from looking after you for hours" Cheryl replied.

"You waited that long?" Ask Indra.

Cheryl nodded. Indra felt touched, only this time there were people waiting for him when he was sick for the last two years, besides Anna of course.

Previously, only Bella, Reisth, Miller, and Misha were waiting for him when he was sick. However, after he became a Bounty Hunter only Anna was waiting for him when he was sick.

"Thank you" Indra smiled.

Cheryl could finally see Indra smiling. He thinks Indra is a warm person. However, it was rare for him to see Indra smiling clearly.

"Why?" Indra asked looking at Cheryl who was thinking about something.

"It's okay, it looks like I'm just still sleepy" Cheryl answered looking for an excuse.

"Then, just go to sleep. I want to go for a walk" Indra said.

Cheryl nodded. Indra did not want to ask about the Wyverns to Cheryl because he was very sure that Cheryl and the soldiers could handle it.

Then Indra went out of the castle. A few steps before he reached the exit gate, a strange object shot towards that gate from the sky. The object then hit the snow-covered ground in front of the castle gate.

Indra ran to him. To his surprise he saw Avalance who had been seriously injured, his entire body was covered in blood. Avalance also brought someone.

"Avalaise? And... dad? What's the matter?" Indra asked confusedly.

"There's no time to explain it now, Indra" said Avalance, who was limping along with Ignis.

Indra then helps them to walk. Ignis said nothing. They then reached the treatment room, Tiana and some other Servants just happened to be there.

"HO-HOLY!! YOU'RE ALL RIGHT?! THEN WHY IS THE KING OF THE SOUTHERN REGION ALSO HERE?!" Tiana asked in panic.

"Tiana, there's no time now. We need to take care of their wounds" Indra replied.

Tiana and the servants immediately brought Avalance and Ignis into the treatment room.

They treated Avalance's wounds and Ignis was badly injured. After they finished covering the wounds with bandages, they allowed Avalance and Ignis to rest.

Tiana and several other Servants sat guarding Avalance, and several more intended to look after Ignis. However, Indra forbids him and says that he will take care of Ignis himself.

"You don't want to say anything, dad?" Ask Indra to Ignis.

"There's nothing I want to say" Ignis replied.

"However, if you have any questions. Ask away! You might never see me again. So, this is your chance" Ignis continued.

"What a coincidence, I have a mountain of questions" Indra replied.
