PROTECTING THE SOUTH

A bottle of wine was not strong enough to make Indra drunk. However, it is different from Cheryl who was drunk with just a glass.

Too drunk, Cheryl slept on the bed. Indra returns to her room wanting to let Cheryl rest.

The next day, Indra woke up just as the sun was about to start rising. Someone knocked on the door, Indra already knew that it was definitely Tiana who brought a cup of coffee. However, before he opened the door, he intended to open the window of his room.

When he opened it, the wind felt different. Just like he felt in front of Wyvern's nest cave yesterday. Indra immediately opened the door of her room and welcomed the coffee brought by Tiana.

"Thank you, Tiana. Now you must gather the troops in those three cities! They will come soon, the Wyverns" Indra said after taking a cup of coffee.

"You need to remember. I can only eradicate 90% of the Wyverns, the rest depends on you" Indra continued.

"Why is that, sir?" Ask Tiana.

"I will do it with one strike, and after that I will definitely lose consciousness. Therefore, I depend on you" replied Indra.

Without even saying a word, Tiana immediately informed the entire castle, and soon after. The troops had already gathered and were ready to face any threat in front of him.

Indra then goes to the treatment room to see Cheryl. A few more steps before he reached the door. However, Cheryl is already out of there and looking healthy and fresh.

"You feel better?" Ask Indra.

"I can even finish off thousands of Wyverns right now" Cheryl joked.

"Good! It just so happens that the Wyverns are also heading to this region" said Indra.

"WAIT-WAIT!! YOU SERIOUS?!" Ask Cheryl to panic.

"Yes, just calm down. I can definitely eradicate 90% of them. However, the rest I will leave to you and the soldiers" Indra replied.

Cheryl then follows Indra who is heading to the tower of Avalance Castle. Indra sat there and waited.

"Why should it be 90%, why not everything?" Ask Cheryl.

"I will attack once and only once. After the attack I will lose my consciousness for a while" Indra replied.

Cheryl is less sure of it, because it is as strong as Indra. There was no way he could use his magic in the entire Southern Region. However, Cheryl does not know how strong Indra really is. Indra would not be considered a disciple of the god if he was indeed weak.

Shortly thereafter, the Wyverns began to be seen from a distance. Simultaneously, the black clouds had already covered the entire corner of the Southern Region. It was the greatest use of magic that Indra had ever used in his lifetime.

Avalance Castle is located on top of a mountain. It makes Indra can see Licht City, Nacht City, and Kals City from a distance.

As the Wyverns were about to reach the city, Indra used his lightning to strike them, and with tens of thousands of strikes almost all of the Wyverns died and fell to the ground. Indra deliberately attacked the Wyverns before they reached the city because he did not want the Wyverns to suddenly fall on the House owned by residents.

After the tens of thousands of thunderbolts descended from the sky, Indra looked extremely exhausted, and his consciousness was already at the tip of the horn.

"Indra, are you okay?" Ask Cheryl.

"I'm fine. I will soon lose my consciousness. Cheryl, there's still thousands of Wyverns there. I leave everything to you" said Indra, who was gasping for breath, and finally fell to the floor shortly after he said that.

"I'm sorry, Indra" Cheryl said.

He then immediately headed to the cities one by one to help the soldiers there.

All this time Indra has never seen Cheryl's magic. Yesterday, Cheryl was unable to deal with Ignael and Iglea because the wind would only make their fire worse. Because of this, Cheryl only uses her physique.

Finished with Kals City. Cheryl then heads to Nacht City which is located below the cliff. Cheryl is heading there because it will be difficult for residents to evacuate because of the cliffs that block.

It didn't take long for Cheryl to finish off the Wyverns.

In any case Cheryl is also a gold-level Adventurer of course she is very strong. After he slaughtered those Wyverns. He was very tired not only because he faced Wyverns, but because he also had to run around here and there. But he can't stop yet. There are still dozens more in Licht City.

"Damn, I hope my pay is worth it" said Cheryl who was panting.

Then Cheryl went to the last City. Licht City, the city on the cliff. Arriving in the city, Cheryl was a little surprised to see only 3 Wyverns left there. The soldiers in Licht City seemed to be stronger than the other Cities in the Southern Region. At least, it makes Cheryl's job lighter. Although Titaz and his subordinates were seen already severely injured when facing the 3 Wyverns.

Cheryl then slashed the Wyverns' throats with her wind.

The city was protected by Titaz, though it was toppled with just one slash of the sword by Indra. It seemed like Titaz was indeed quite powerful, perhaps equivalent to a Ranked Bounty Hunter or a Silver-ranked Adventurer as well.

"Miss Cheryl. Thanks though. We've started to get tired with the last three Wyverns, we've even resigned. However, we are grateful you came" Titaz said.

"Not to be ignored, I'm happy to help" Cheryl replied.

After taking a break from Titaz and his subordinates, Cheryl rushes to return to the castle to take Indra to the treatment room.

Arriving at the castle, Cheryl immediately ran towards the castle tower. However, Indra was no longer there. Cheryl starts to panic and goes back down to look for Indra. Cheryl tried to think more clearly, it was possible that the servants had already taken her to the treatment room.

He then asked one of the servants there and sure enough, Indra had been taken to the treatment room. Cheryl then immediately goes to the treatment room to look for Indra.

Inside there was Indra who was still unconscious and Tiana who was sitting next to him.

"How is he doing?" Ask Cheryl.

"Nothing serious. Mr. Indra just needs to rest" Tiana replied.

"Thank God" Cheryl said.

"Because there are already you who accompany Mr. Indra, I say goodbye. There are many things that I have to take care of right now" replied Tiana who then went out after saying goodbye.
