Atlas: Lightning From The Wild West
58: PRIMORDIAL PEARL

One week ago, a group of people in the guild saw information about the Primordial Pearl. They were one of the main groups in the Guild, even so the five people had the title of Gold Mages.

A few days later, the big news came. A poor miner from the far end of town discovers a strange pearl that is thought to be a Primordial Pearl. Experts said that it was indeed a Primordial Pearl. Long story short, they contacted the WOA (Wizards of Atlas) to send a Great Witch to witness the destruction of the pearl as a witness.

It was from the news that the bad intentions of the bandit group emerged. That is to steal the Primordial Pearl. Although they are not a friendly group. However, all of them had outstanding achievements in Guilds even still able to rival the popularity of parties that were also famous in Guilds.

"Think about! They sent one Great Witch only to watch as it was destroyed, there must be something in the pearl!" Tell one of them.

"What do you think that is?" Ask her friend who is sitting next to her.

"Surely it is a great source of strength!" The answer.

"I've heard of a demon whose soul is sealed within the four pearls that are eventually scattered throughout the world so that all those pearls will not return to their original state. This is a story from my hometown, this story says that whoever releases the Devil will be granted one wish." Further.

"That sounds like aladin's rubbing lamp." Reply Friends.

"Fright! Just like Aladdin's lamp! That's why we need that thing!" Said again.

After thinking twice, they finally agreed to steal the Primordial Pearl and perform a summoning ritual to release the Devil inside the thing.

His friends initially denied it. However, after remembering their friend's achievements in the field of archaeology. They came to believe in him, and after thinking again the WOA did hate a power that did not side with them, so it was no wonder that the Primordial Pearl was actually a source of power that the WOA wanted to get rid of.

The miner must not destroy his Primordial Pearl before his witness comes, the opportunity was used by them to steal the thing. After stealing it, the archaeologist began to research the object and his guess was correct. He immediately looked for a way to unseal the Devil so that he could have one wish that could be granted.

The request they will ask of the Devil is: the five of them gain great power.

Long story short, the Archaeologist finally found a spell to free the Devil. It took him a few days to learn the spell.

In the morning, the Miner was in a panic after seeing his Primordial Pearl disappear. One hundred million pieces of gold just disappeared, after he tried to calm down. He immediately went to report to the WOA to get a solution.

The WOA party who knew what the Primordial Pearl was was actually immediately acted to find the thief. They requested help from the Lunar City government to send people to help investigate the case.

The government sent some of their best men, Miller was one of them. Whether since when he had been working in the Eastern Region, it seemed like he was working in the Lunar City so that he was not far from Misha.

I don't know what the two of them did after a year until Misha and Miller's reputation soared that the government and the entire population of the Eastern Region already knew the names of both of them.

Miller and his colleagues suspect witches who have insight into Archaeology. Given that the Primordial Pearl was an object filled with history from hundreds of years ago, who else would need that thing other than the Archaeologists.

The place they had first visited was definitely the Adventurers Guild where witches would have gathered there. Miller's co-workers did not dare to enter the place because they were afraid of a commotion plus they were not great fighters like Miller.

Miller entered the venue and spoke to the Guild receptionist. He meets Misha. However, he did not rebuke her. Miller explained the situation and the receptionist understood everything, he then gave an emergency announcement to the entire Guild members to gather immediately.

The guild members gathered after hearing the announcement, they gathered in front of the reception desk.

"Well, everyone, we gathered you together because the investigators from the Primordial Pearl disappearance suspect some people from our Guild." Said one of the receptionists there.

"We will reject this investigation before we get a clear reason." Misha said after advancing and standing in front of Miller who was standing next to the receptionist.

"In addition to the WOA, the people who were after it were just Archaeologists. Incidentally, most of the Archaeologists in this city are adventurers." Miller looked at Misha.

"That makes sense, all right. We'll work together." Misha.

Although the two of them were more than just getting to know each other, but they were both like strangers talking to each other back then.

Miller was really focused on his job, he was like a different person when he was working, but that was what Misha liked about Miller.

Misha then helped Miller to gather the 4 Archaeologists who were there.

"There are actually five, but one more person hasn't been seen again in recent days. That person as well as some of his party members have not been seen lately" Misha said.

Miller took a breath.

"Why not say it from the beginning? Now I just need information about that guy." Miller.

"I don't know that much, but you can try asking the receptionist." Reply Misha.

Miller then returned to the receptionist accompanied by Misha. Damn, Miller didn't get any information about where the guy lived. However, he was still able to obtain the identity of that person.

After getting all the things he needed, Miller finally prepared to leave.

"Have lunch?" Miller asked Misha.

"Eh? I don't think so." Answer Misha.

"Sorry I can't keep you company later, I seem to be very busy today." Reply Miller who walked away.

The receptionist who heard that looked puzzled.

"Why don't you hear anything." Misha smiled a little.

It took a day for Miller to track down the man, after tracking the man down, Miller headed there with hundreds of City soldiers to surround him.

However, late. The ritual had already begun and along with it the originally clear sky, now darkened and from there Asmodeus appeared.

Let alone granting the request, right after he exited Asmodeus immediately slaughtered those who had stolen the Primordial Pearl.

Miller immediately ordered the troops he led to prepare for Asmodeus.
