TROUBLESOME OLD MAN
"So until now, you haven't known my father's curse?" Indra asked.
"Yes.." replied Avalance.
"What is the Dragon of Destruction really?" Indra asked again.
"The dragon is one of the '7 messengers of the deity' of Chaos by name" Avalance replied.
Indra looked at Avalance not understanding.
"Chaos, Pax, Brine, Flamma, Gleam, Ventus, and Fulgur. They have one of the 7 basic elements" Avalance said.
7 Envoys are creatures whose existence is already considered like a god to some people. The seven beings each represent one basic element. Each of them has their duty. Their goal is to balance the world
Chaos, Dragon of Destruction. He symbolizes Darkness, he is tasked with bringing destruction and curse wherever he goes.
Pax, Pegasus that brings peace. It symbolizes the Light, it is in charge of bringing peace and helping those who are oppressed.
Brine, the largest Kraken that controls the entire ocean. He symbolizes Water, he is in charge of overseeing all corners of the earth.
Flamma, the immortal Phoenix. He symbolizes Fire, he does not have much of a role. However, he often gave "Grace" to humans.
Gleam, the tough Golem. He symbolizes the land or earth, he is in charge of caring for the forest and nature.
Ventus, Sentadu wind. It symbolizes the wind, its job is to set the direction of the wind. Sometimes he also gives "Grace" to humans.
Fulgur, the Eagle that rules the sky. He symbolizes lightning, his task more or less the same as Brine. However, Fulgur watched over the world from the sky.
"So the Dragon that has ravaged your city is…?" Not finished Indra's sentence, Avalance interrupted him.
"Yes .. Chaos is the one who has come to ravage the city, he also gave me this curse" said Avalance.
The two of them conversed in the middle of the snowfield where a high mountain was right in front of them. On the right and left are the Fir Trees and Pine Trees whose leaves are covered by the white of snowflakes. Just below that mountain, the destination city they both stood there.
"It must be hard for you to fight your own brother. The person you respect and admire before." said Indra.
"We arrived" said Avalance ignoring the words Indra.
After entering the city, a vassal of Avalance approached and greeted them.
"Do you need the same help as your friends, Indra?" Ask Avalance.
"Um .. maybe, I only need the tallest building in this city, my magic will be easier to aim from a high place" replied Indra.
"Well, get him to the highest tower of the city!" avalance said he ordered his men.
Indra, Miller, and Misha ended up in their respective positions just waiting for the time until the enemies from the southern region came to attack.
Meanwhile, Avalance had already gone to the main battleground where most of the Northern Army was preparing for battle. Now Avalance isn't worried about the southerly plans
After a while, the southern troops began to arrive. The scouts began to retreat to notify Avalance and the rest of the army.
"Your Majesty .. Your Majesty! They had arrived, unexpectedly they were carrying far more troops!" Said one of them who immediately bowed before Avalance, although still panting.
"Who is leading them?" Avalance asked.
"Hamba doesn't know that well. However, at least it wasn't their Great Witch" he replied.
"Then there's nothing to worry about, you can leave" Avalance said.
They say goodbye and leave.
Meanwhile, Indra who is ready in position is still waiting for his prey. While waiting, he sat on top of the tower enjoying a piece of apple he had requested from the supplies of the soldiers in the city.
"Hm... Where are those people? It's boring" Indra said to herself.
After finishing the apple, Indra threw it down. But someone caught him. That person was an old man in a black suit, a top hat on his head, and a wooden stick to support his slightly bent body.
"Disposing of trash is not good" said the man.
Indra was surprised to see that person, he did not feel the presence of anyone else down there at all.
"How is it possible? I don't feel anyone down there" Indra said.
That guy laughed.
"Hahaha, it seems like you're underestimating your duties too much" the Old Man said with a smile.
Indra immediately stood up and jumped down, thinking that there would be many people coming after the city because that was why he planned to aim at them from above. However, he was quite certain that this old man in front of him was even more dangerous than thousands of ordinary people.
"Who are you really?" Indra asked while taking a position to prepare for battle at any time.
"Aren't you supposed to know that, too? However, in order to maintain good manners, I will tell you my name. I am Ken, as you know I am the envoy from the Southern Region" replied the old man.
The sky began to darken with black clouds. Indra used his lightning and the lightning hit the old man until it crashed and destroyed a building there.
"Not bad, but not enough to face me" Ken said, patting his dirty clothes.
Initially Indra intended to deny Ken's words because the lightning was only a small lightning to test Ken's ability. However, Indra thought it was a good opportunity for him because his opponent had already underestimated him and he would more easily give a surprise attack.
However, it was not as easy as Indra's estimation. The old man moved much more agilely than he should have. His agility and speed did not seem to match his age which seemed to have been almost a century.
The sense of distress fended off a quick attack from Ken, fortunately he was still able to compensate even though he did not get a chance to strike back.
Ken seemed to be using a magic to speed up his movements. Indra began to fatigue after a long time fending off Ken's attacks, so he began to slow down and finally Ken managed to land one punch right in Indra's chest.
His hat floated and fell to the ground.
The blow blew him far enough to stop after crashing into and destroying a wall.
"Damn it, the old man is much more troublesome than I thought" Indra said as she stood up.
In front of him, Ken was already standing there.
"What's the matter, old man? Has it started gout?" Indra.
Ken then again darted forward towards Indra, this time Indra did not have time to fend it off. Making a second punch Ken landed right in Indra's stomach. Makes Indra fall back.
Punch after punch received Indra. But he still stood strong. The people around now ran away from the battle of Indra and Ken.
Part of the city was destroyed due to their fighting, the rubble was immediately covered by snowflakes. Indra still has not got a chance to strike back.
It was very difficult to target Ken who was moving agilely with the lightning. Therefore Indra is still thinking for another way. However, it was difficult for him to think clearly while fending off and receiving Ken's attack.
"You're tougher than I thought, well then I'll show you my true strength" Ken said.
Using his magic, he lifted all the ruins of the city building and threw them one by one towards Indra.
It is finally revealed that Ken's magic is telekinesis. He moved his body and telekinesis to increase the speed of his movements, so that he was able to move faster and agile.
The debris shot rapidly towards Indra and immediately hit him. Indra is back. However, this time the rubble hit him repeatedly before he could even stand up. Indra had not yet stood up, making Ken curious and slowly approached him.
Because of his curiosity Ken became a little careless. It gives a great opportunity for Indra. Indra used his lightning that was hundreds of times stronger than before.
This time the lightning hit Ken desperately because of his negligence. Ken crouched down after being hit by the attack. But he is still conscious. Realizing that, Indra immediately lunged at him and hit him right in the face. He fell to the ground and eventually fell.
"Finally" said Indra who was still panting.
Indra then walked over to his hat that had fallen off earlier and immediately put it on again.
With a rope he finds in the rubble of a destroyed building, he binds Ken.
Indra also learned that all the troops who were in charge of helping him were already overthrown by Ken.
"Why, after feeling your magic, I feel like you look like someone" said Ken, who was half-conscious.
"Someone you're talking about is Ignis, right? Of course we're a little similar" Indra replied.
"How do you know?" Ask Ken.
"Ignis is my father, even though he doesn't seem to know that I'm still alive" Indra replied.
Ken looked surprised and at a loss for words.
Indra then tried to resuscitate the northern troops who were fainting. After some of them came to their senses, he immediately handed Ken over to them.
Then Indra went back to the tower where he had stood guard to wait for news from Avalance. Indra wondered if Miller and Misha were okay? He doesn't know. But he believed in both of his friends.
Soon Misha and Miller's entourage arrived in the city with some northern troops.
Indra came down from the tower and approached them. Seeing Indra's battered condition, Miller laughed out loud.
"Haha!! What kind of people have beaten you up, Indra?" Miller asked with a laugh.
"Only a strange old man" replied Indra.
"You got beat up by an old man? Sad, Hahaha" replied Miller who even laughed louder.
"You all right, Indra? Your wound looks pretty bad" Misha said.
"Ah .. no-no, if only like this I'm okay" Indra replied.
"By the way, what kind of people are you dealing with?" Indra asked.
"That's so boring! I faced these 5 people at once and they didn't live up to my expectations" Miller replied.
"That's quite troublesome for me. I was up against 15 people and the thing that made it a little troublesome was that they were always separating and difficult to catch" Misha replied.
"And I only faced an old man who was very troublesome" Indra complained.
Shortly thereafter, Avalance came alone to the city. It seems he brought good news.
