Hatori Imas
be shocked

The school bell rang, a sign for class admission and the start of teaching and learning activities. I, because I am a learned and intelligent student, am therefore seated in the front seat. Shortly afterwards, Imas the Chemistry teacher came in and gave Greetings.

Ms. Imas asked us to collect the PR she gave us last week. I forget to remember a little, whether I have done the PR or not. Soon I find my chemistry book, I check and thank God everything is in order. I immediately gathered the task and because I was peeing I asked permission to go to the toilet.

"Mom, Permission to go to the toilet for a minute?" I asked and asked permission with my sweet smile.

"Well, how dare you tell Mom to go to the toilet?" Imas replied with glaring and sharp eyes looking at me.

"Oh my God, I'm sorry, ma'am, I didn't tell Mom, but I asked permission to go to the toilet for a while." I answered while holding back my kebelet.

"Yes talk dong if you want to go to the toilet, not even tell mom who goes to the toilet." Mom's reply confused me. "What do you mean, ma'am? umas said, Imas let you go to the toilet for a while." I explain it again.

"Ahh. sorry, Mom just realized that our names are the same. Yeah, it's there, don't let you wet the bed." Ms. Imas spoke with a satisfied laugh.

I rushed to run down the school corridor to the toilet with a feeling of beke due to the words of Imas earlier. As I hurriedly ran towards the toilet, I accidentally hit a man I had never seen before.

I fell down and the man looked at me and smiled. "Sorry, sorry." He thrust his hand to help me stand up.

"Liat-liat dong on the way!" I was angry with my mouth and my hands washed my clothes. I got up and I saw his face, "MashaAllah, only this time I saw a handsome guy once in front of me."

"Me, Usep, this new kid at school. I'm sorry ya." She spoke softly with her sweet smile.

I salting at that time, and maybe my face reddened if anyone saw me at that time. But my sense of kebelet had overcome my admiration for Usep, I was as fast as a rocket running to the toilet, I forgot to introduce myself to Usep.

"Hey, you haven't told me what your name is!" Usep screamed to see me leave. I don't want acquaintances, but to be honest I'm afraid of bedwetting in school corridors.

In the toilet I thought again, "Eh. man was handsome, God, Rest want to find out aahhh.." I cried in my heart.

After completing my wish, I rushed back to my class, and I told Ujang the incident. I did not expect Ujang's reaction to be like this, he looked disappointed, angry and started to complain to me.

"Ujang, ai you why is it so funny? Kunaon?" I asked with a face full of confusion.

Ujang shook his head and replied in a cold tone, "You always just focus on the appearance of people and instantly fall in love. But you forget that you have a friend who has always been faithful waiting for you."

I was surprised to hear Ujang's words. I realized that all this time I was too fixated on the appearance and romantic events around me, thus ignoring the feelings of Ujang.

"Ujang, I'm sorry. I was too distracted with unimportant things. You were always there for me, but only as a friend" I said sincerely.

"I know, Imas. I know you don't like me, but appreciate how I feel." Ujang left the chair.

"Jang, Ujaaang!" I called Ujang half-screaming. However, Ujang still left without looking back.

I felt devastated and regretful to realize that my attitude had hurt my friend. I stood up from the chair and ran after Ujang.

"Ujang, wait a minute!" seruku while trying to chase Ujang whose steps are so fast. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I appreciate you as my friend, and it means a lot to me. I'm sorry for my selfish attitude."

Ujang paused for a moment and turned to face me. His expression was still full of disappointment, but I could see there was doubt in his eyes. "I'm tired, Imas. Tired of being a friend who is always by your side. I also want to be appreciated and loved."

I sat down and could not comment. I only consider Ujang as my true friend. "I'm sorry, Ujang," I said in a weak voice. "I realized that I relied too much on you without giving the same to you. I'm guilty of never appreciating your feelings fully. I understand that you also need to be appreciated and loved as a friend."

I looked into his eyes sincerely, hoping that he could see my deep sense of regret. "I'm sorry I made you feel unappreciated. I want to improve our relationship and give you the attention you deserve. You're a meaningful friend to me, and I want to right the wrongs that have already happened."

I gave a small smile, hoping to fix the rift in our friendship. "Is there anything I can do to improve our relationship? I want to prove that I appreciate you and care about how you feel."

"I want to be loved as your lover, Imas. I've liked you for a long time, but you never responded, you always thought I was just kidding, thought everything was just a joke." It is not usual to talk with teary eyes.

"But, sorry Ujang, I have no feelings for you other than just as a friend." I tried to tell Ujang but by not offending him.

"Ujang, indeed sometimes there are situations where a person develops feelings more than just friendship. However, destiny is sometimes not always in line with our expectations. I understand that your feelings for me are strong feelings, but I hope you can also understand that my feelings are not the same as you expected.

"I really appreciate our friendship, and I don't want to lose you as a friend. I understand that this might be disappointing for you, but I hope that we can keep our friendship together without causing any inconvenience between us."

"Are you willing to continue our friendship as before? I hope we can keep supporting each other, respecting each other, and understanding each other. If there are things that make you feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed, I want you to know that I'm always ready to listen and work together to get it done." I tried to speak as much detail as possible so that Ujang did not hurt.

I listened to my words carefully. His face looked a little surprised and shaken by what I was discussing. After a while that felt like an eternity, he finally replied carefully, "I appreciate your honesty, friend. Thank you for being my best friend all along." Ujang then left and intended not to talk to me anymore.

I felt devastated to see Ujang leave so easily. My tears flowed profusely, and my heart was filled with regret and sorrow. I wish things could go well, but destiny decides its way in a different way.

A few days passed, and I felt lost without Ujang around me. I miss our conversation, her echoing laughter, and her ever-comfortable presence. I realized that losing Ujang as a friend was something very hard for me.

Without hesitation, I decided to contact Ujang and ask for a chance to speak honestly. I wanted to explain my feelings, apologize for what happened, and hope to restore our friendly relationship.

I sent a letter to Ujang that I sent to his mother."Ujang, I know that I may have hurt your feelings and I am very sorry. I don't want to lose you as a friend, and I want us to be able to talk openly to mend our relationship. Are you willing to meet and listen to what I want to say?"
