On Sunday morning I was ready with sneakers and a running outfit. I intend to exercise all together looking for a cool atmosphere that I always miss because it is busy with school.
As usual, the route to my gym is quite far and out of reach of Google Maps. Through vast rice fields, gardens that are as big as gaban, jungle forests full of mystery and large rivers that rushing water.
While passing through the tea garden that is more than the vast Bogor palace, I saw Vey was sitting talking with Ujang between the tea garden alleys. My mischievous intentions came when they were really focused on fighting each other.
"So you really can't move on from Imas yet?" Vey was surprised to hear Ujang's honesty.
I watched their conversation, interested in listening further. I stopped running for a moment and hid behind the bushes near them, so as not to be seen.
"Yes, I still can't move on," replied Ujang with a sad face. "Gold was my first love, and she rejected me twice for no apparent reason."
Vey nodded sympathetically. "I understand how you feel, Ujang. But you have to try to move on with your life. In any case, maybe Imas is not your current match. You must open your heart to new opportunities."
Ujang shook his head. "I know that, but it's hard for me. Every time I see this tea garden, my memories are instantly connected to Imas. We spend a lot of time together here. It was like losing a part of myself."
Vey gave me support. "Maybe you need time to heal and accept the reality. But don't let the past stop you from finding happiness in the future. Maybe there's someone who'll make you happy again, if you give him a chance."
Ujang took a long breath. "I'll try, Vey. Thank you for listening and giving me advice."
Hearing that, I smiled to myself behind the bushes. "Damn it, the Ujang still can't move on." I said in my heart.
I took a small stone beside me, I threw it at them. "Ahh. missed." I murmured in my heart.
"Grandz." The new sound of falling on the ground made Ujang and Vey startled instead of playing. "Wooyyy.. Who is it?" Ujang shouted with a frightened face.
I stepped out of the bushes with an innocent face. "Sorry, sorry. That's me, Imas. I deliberately threw stones at you, "I said as I approached them.
Ujang still looked frightened, while Vey looked at me with a sharp look. "Gold, why are you throwing stones at us?" ask her with a annoyed tone.
I immediately apologized, "Yes, uh. no, uh.. Ja. I really don't know if the stones are hard."
A frightened person rebuked me, "Laahh... Who said the stone was mushy? is there a soft stone?"
"Ujang Lebay!" I stick out my tongue and stick to Ujang.
"Waaah... Imas really-nothing noisily." Wake up and chase me. I was as fast as a rocket darting away through a vast bamboo garden.
I kept running with a gasp of breath, trying to get away from Ujang who was getting closer to me. My courage and adventurous spirit made me even more excited about keeping my distance.
I jumped over the bamboo roots that ran across my path, trying to avoid the splashing water that gushed from the dazzling bamboo waterfall in the distance. The sound of bamboo leaves rubbing against my ears as I moved swiftly past the towering plants.
Suddenly, I felt the coolness of the water hitting my cheeks. I paused for a moment and found that I had reached the edge of a beautiful river. With a tired but happy face, I realized that I had managed to avoid the pursuit of Ujang.
As I rested for a while by the river, I saw my surroundings filled with natural beauty. The calm and peaceful atmosphere here made me feel at ease and forget everything.
Suddenly, Ujang appeared behind the bushes with a gasp of breath. "Gold! You're really fast!" he said while breathing. Vey, who was following him quietly, smiled looking at the two of us.
"I'm sorry, Jang. I just want to break up your gala mood." My heart while laughing.
Ujang only fell silent with a soft clap on his shoulder by Vey.
As the sun sank in the western horizon, we walked home with light steps. "Jang, please don't burden me with your wish earlier. I also want to be free, I don't want us to be awkward just because of heart problems." I tried to negotiate with Ujang's heart.
"Of course." Ujang only answered briefly with lunglai footsteps.
I was annoyed with Ujang's attitude to respond to my words, I hooked his feet when walking up to Ujang's feet interlocked and fell to the ground. "Kampreeett." Ujang yells.
"Gold, jail you're so a person!" Ujang getting annoyed with my pranks. I ran with my tongue out. "weeeeeekkk."
Vey was silent at my behavior. "Gold, the more ridiculous the more beautiful." He murmured in his heart.
"Udah, Jang. Don't need to be chased." Vey spoke up and advised Ujang to let me go.
"Vey, the more ignorant Imas is, the more I fall in love." Ujang looks more tormented.
I continued my mission to exercise. While crossing the swift river of water, I felt the air so cool. I spread my hand like I was flying.
"Yyyyyyyassss!" Usep was seen waving his hand across the river. I was surprised to see Usep who suddenly nongol behind the tall shrubbery. My feet lost balance and I fell into the river because I slipped.
In an instant my gaze became blurred, dark and I felt short of breath. I only felt one hard object hit right in my head. After that, I don't remember anything.
When I opened my eyes, my blurry vision slowly began to improve. I realized that some people were standing in front of me, looking worried and anxious. I tried to gather my thoughts and pay attention to the situation around me.
I was on the riverbank, where I fell after slipping. The people around me are made up of people around me and there may also be security personnel or helpers who come to help. There were expressions of relief on their faces when they realized that I had come to a realization.
"Are you okay?" ask someone with attention.
I nodded slowly, trying to remember what happened after I fell into the river. However, my memory is still blurred and I cannot remember clearly.
"You don't move too fast. Let us call an ambulance to check your condition" said one woman in a soft voice.
I followed their advice and stayed calm. Residents immediately contacted emergency services and provided information about the incident. Meanwhile, some people around me tried to provide first aid by drinking water and checking for injuries that might have happened to me.
Time was slow as I waited for the ambulance to arrive. I try to remember what happened before I lost consciousness. However, the previous incident was still too vague in my mind.
Eventually, the sound of ambulance sirens drew closer, giving little hope that medical help would be forthcoming. The trained medics immediately took charge of the situation and began to examine my condition closely. They asked about the incident and noted the symptoms I felt.
After the initial examination, the medics decided to take me to the hospital for further examination. I was treated with attention and was given the explanation that blurred memory was a common symptom after a head accident.
The trip to the hospital was fast, and once I got there, I went straight through a series of tests and further examinations. The doctor explained that the events I experienced could cause temporary amnesia and that the lost memories might recover over time.
"I who? me where? i why?" I said in my heart. So many questions I wanted to solve but every time I tried to remember, my head hurt more and more.
