Hatori Imas
City People Search Eel

Ujang was already on standby at the school gate, as usual waiting for me to come out. Gilaa, Ujang use ike head dong ala-ala Naruto.

"Gold, let's run home!" Ujang.

"Hahaha. will you fight Ninja Hatori?" Ngakak.

"Come, Ujang! Who's afraid of going up against Ninja Hatori?" I said with a smile.

The two of us ran as fast as we could to leave the school gate. Ujang with the head laket ala Naruto and I eagerly follow the challenge of running home. The beautiful twilight sky emitted a golden orange glow, creating an increasingly smoldering atmosphere.

We passed through crowded streets, crossed sidewalks and turned around every corner. Ujang ran agilely, swinging his hand to the side as if he were using a typical Naruto technique. I continued to run at maximum speed, following Ujang who was getting further away in front.

A carefree laugh filled the air as we crossed the small garden filled with shady trees. The people who saw the two of us running with passion could only be stunned and laughed at our excited behavior like a child.

"Wait for me, Ujang!" I am still adding speed. I got closer to him, but Ujang kept his distance.

Ujang know how to make me happy, he tried to be a figure that I idolize like, Naruto, Ninja Hatori and even when I like Sailormoon, I don't want to wear a skirt, hahaha.

it has been almost 15 minutes we walked down the vast rice field, now we have to enter the garden area full of bamboo trees. A gentle breeze swept across our faces, creating the soothing sound of bamboo leaf whirring. The dim twilight glow radiates between the cracks of the tree, giving a magical feel to the surrounding environment.

"Gold, we play hide and seek among bamboo trees!" yelling Ujang with spirit.

"Good idea! But this place is quite spacious, so we have to be careful not to get lost" I said with a smile.

The two of us started to run between the tall bamboo trees. The sound of our footsteps rang out between the silence of the garden. Every time there was a pause, we hid behind tight bamboo stalks, covering our breathless breaths.

Time passed quickly, and we got more and more dissolved in a game of hide and seek. The sensation of hiding among the tall bamboo trees gave an irreplaceable joy. Every time I almost found Ujang, he quickly ran to another place, leaving me with a little laugh that boomed in the silence of the garden.

I kept trying to search for Ujang carefully, settling among the neatly lined bamboos. The atmosphere became even more mysterious with the dim light of twilight and the silent sound that enveloped our surroundings. However, our excitement and spirit did not fade.

After several rounds of exciting hide-and-seek, I finally managed to find Ujang hidden behind a tall bamboo tree. He laughed out loud, realizing that I had finally found him.

"Caught!" I cried with joy.

Ujang raised his hand as a sign of surrender. He smiled broadly, admitting defeat in this game. The two of us sat in the middle of the bamboo garden, still panting after running around and hiding excitedly.

"What a roar, Imas! But, we have to go home now." Said Ujang while wiping the sweat on his forehead.

"I agree, Ujang. This game of hide and seek in the bamboo garden really gives a different sensation," I said with a satisfied smile.

When I got home, I was surprised by Vey's arrival. "Well, is that a handsome guy coming to the house?" I asked in my heart.

I rushed towards the house and Ujang followed behind.

"Eh.. Vey, what's up here? want to buy another meal?" askaju kidding.

"Hehehe, if you want, come on!" answer Vey spirit.

"Duhh. don't want ah, dah want maghrib, must be ready for study." I frowned because I wanted to eat for free, but was afraid to miss my salary.

"No, Imas. I'm just here for Silaturahmi because I'm now officially your neighbor." Vey replied with a friendly smile.

"What..?? moving to the Imas house?" Tanya Ujang plain.

"Not to the house of Imas, kang. But, being a neighbor. My house is yellow." Vey answered and pointed to the one big house across the street from my house.

"Oh.. The big yellow one, huh? if it rains be careful ahh.." I gave Vey the same advice.

"meaning? careful what, Imas?" Vey looks confused.

"yes, it's yellow, if the rain is afraid of mining, that's it." Reply giggles.

"Aelaahh, Imas, Fuckin' thought. That's not a house of tai." Vey pouting.

"Sorry, Vey. Imas does like to joke like that" said Ujang while patting Vey on the shoulder.

"It's okay, Ujang. I also don't mind the jokes of Imas," Vey said with a smile.

And with Vey as our new neighbor, we welcome him with open arms, ready for the new adventures that await us.

Me and Ujang looked at each other and winked, Our mischievous intentions began to appear. "Vey, where are you going abis Isya? my many.

"Not anywhere, Imas. What's up?" Vey asked with a somewhat confused face.

"Well, shall we not?" My answer.

"Yes, Vey. We're Hunting!" Ujang added excitedly.

"Hunting what? why am I so horrible." Vey looks a little worried.

"BELUT!" Me and Ujang compactly replied while shouting.

Vey was surprised to hear our answer and looked at us with a mixed expression between confusion and fear. Me and Ujang just laughed at her reaction.

"But seriously, Vey. Around here is a small river with many eels. Come on you should try to find the eel!" I said while giving a sweet smile.

Vey hesitated a little, but eventually nodded in agreement. He also wants to try new experiences and adventure with us.

Take time to hunt. The three of us moved towards a small river that was located close to Vey's house.

When we got to the river, we took off our shoes and rolled up our pants to keep them from getting wet. The bright night sky emitted moonlight, giving off a calm and mysterious atmosphere. We walked slowly by the river, looking for traces of eels.

As moments passed, we began to see water motions hinting at the existence of eels. Carefully, we peered into the water and found little eels swimming there. Expressions of joy appeared on our faces.

"Come, let's get those eels!" yelling Ujang with spirit.

We tried to catch the eels with our passionate hands. However, the eels are agile and continue to move quickly in the water. We laughed and shouted as the eels slid from our catch.

Not giving up, we tried various strategies to catch the eels. We used our hands in slow motion, made simple traps out of leaves, and even tried to use the small buckets we found near the river. Every time the eel managed to escape, we were just getting more and more motivated to try again.

"Wow, look at that! That's a big eel!" yelling Ujang with enthusiasm.

Not wanting to miss, Vey also took a look and was immediately interested in the existence of the big eel. Without a second thought, he began to follow the eel with his eyes fixed on it.

We tried to warn Vey to be careful, but he was too fascinated by the big eel. In unstoppable excitement and curiosity, Vey recklessly jumps into the water to chase the eel.

We were surprised and immediately tried to reach out to Vey. However, the river is quite deep and the mud at its base is quite slippery. Vey struggled to stay on his feet and keep his balance, but eventually he fell into the slippery, sticky mud.

Me and Ujang tried to pull Vey out, but the more he tried to get out, the more he got stuck in deep mud. Vey panicked and shouted for help, while the two of us grew worried.

With the courage and strength we had, we finally managed to pull Vey out of the sticky mud. He looked topsy-turvy with clothes and hair dirty from the mud, but we were all grateful that he was safe.

"Great, Vey! You are literally plunged into an extreme eel adventure!" I said while laughing.

Vey joined in on our laughter, though she still felt a little embarrassed by the incident. The incident of the Vey who plastered into the mud in an effort to chase the eel became one of the memories that we always tell cheerfully every time together.

Time passed so quickly in our excitement. We laughed, screamed, and shared the joy with each other. No matter whether we managed to catch the eel or not, the most important thing was the shared moment we created.

Finally, with persistence and perseverance, we managed to catch a few small eels. We feel proud of our catch, even if the number is not much. A carefree laugh filled the night, treating fatigue after running around and chasing eels the entire time.

We went back to the riverbank to remove the little eel we caught. With gentleness, we release them back into the water, giving them the freedom to swim and live in their nature.

"Thank you, Vey. Been coming with us on this adventure" I said with a smile.

"No problem, Imas. I really enjoyed this experience. Thank you for inviting me," Vey replied with a sincere smile.
