Hatori Imas
First meeting with Usep's father

We were all shocked to hear the hysterical scream and immediately looked in the direction of the voice. It was seen a woman screaming in panic while pointing to the sea. We ran up to him and tried to figure out what was going on.

As we approached, we saw a little boy bobbing in the middle of a strong wave. Without hesitation, Usep immediately took off his shoes and clothes, and jumped into the water to save the child.

With great courage and strength, Usep managed to approach the boy and lift him from the waves. But when Usep tried to get to the beach, the waves hit his body again and made them both rolled into a big wave.

At that crucial moment the rescue team deftly saved the little boy and also Usep who appeared unconscious.

"Nice... Useph..." I shouted his name in the middle of the first aid given by the beach rescue squad.

I felt panicked and anxious to see Usep being rolled up and unconscious. Meanwhile, the rescue team swiftly provided first aid to Usep and ensured that the child was in safe condition.

After a while that felt like a long time, Usep finally regained his senses and began to move his body. I was relieved to see him conscious, but worry still enveloped my mind.

"What's going on? Is the kid okay?" Usep asked in a weak voice, still looking tired from the incident earlier.

"I'm not sure, but the rescue team is examining the boy right now. You need to rest, Usep. You did a very foolish but brave thing," I replied while trying to calm Usep down.

Several members of the rescue team came to us, and one of them told us that the child was in stable condition and would be taken to a nearby medical center for further examination. They also scolded Usep but were also amazed by his bravery.

"What did you do, son... It was so stupid and silly," said one of the rescuers in an excited voice.

Usep smiled weakly. "I can't just stand by and see someone else in danger, sir. Although this was an instinctual decision, I don't regret it. A man's life is worth more than anything."

Although some members of the rescue team scolded Usep for his foolish decision, they also acknowledged the courage and goodwill behind his actions. They provided first aid to Usep and made sure that his condition was stable before it would take us back to the mainland.

While we were waiting for the second favor, I sat down beside the weakly lying Usep. My cry could not be restrained because too many emotions were engulfing. Usep looked at me weakly, and although he was tired, he tried to smile to calm me down.

"Don't worry, Imas. I'm doing fine. I'm just a little tired" Usep tried to convince me.

"I know you did that out of goodwill, Usep. But I can't not worry. You surprised me with your actions," I said in a sobbing voice.

"I'm sorry, Imas. I didn't mean to worry you. I just couldn't think long when I saw the child in danger" Usep explained as he clasped my hand weakly.

Time was slow as we waited for the second help to arrive. Experienced rescue teams have taken charge of the situation and are doing all they can to ensure our safety. They provided first aid to Usep and confirmed Usep's condition was stable before taking him to the hospital for further examination.

My mother and father tried to calm me down who was so anxious and worried. "Swimming, Son. Usep and the child are in good hands. We trust them all." Said my father while hugging my shoulder.

We waited anxiously at the hospital as Usep underwent further examinations. After a long time, the doctor finally came to give the news about Usep's condition.

"Doctor, how's Usep doing? Is she okay?" ask me in a voice full of worry.

The doctor smiled gently. "Calm down, he'll be fine. Usep experienced fatigue and several blisters on his body due to the waves, but there were no serious injuries. He'll need rest and recovery, but there's nothing to worry about."

I was relieved to hear the news. Although Usep suffered fatigue and minor injuries, he would recover. I am grateful that his decision to save the little boy did not end with worse consequences.

"Gold, you're coming" Usep said in a soft voice.

I sat by the bed and held her hand. "Of course, I can't leave you alone here. How are you feeling now?"

Usep breathed a tired sigh. "I still feel weak and a little pain, but I am grateful that it all ended well. I don't regret doing what I did, Imas."

I smiled proudly. "You're a real hero, Usep. Your actions show how big your heart is and how brave you are. I'm so grateful that you're here."

We spent time together in the nursery, talking to each other and providing support for each other. Usep recounted his experience trying to save the little boy, and we shared our mixed feelings when it happened.

A few days later, Usep was released from the hospital. We walked slowly along the hospital corridor, and outside, fresh air greeted us.

"I feel relieved to get out of here," Usep said as he inhaled a deep breath of air.

"Me too" I replied with a smile. "But never forget what you did, Usep. Your courage has inspired so many people, including me."

Usep smiled gently. "I won't forget it, Imas. This experience will always be an important part of my life. I hope to continue to keep this spirit and courage, and maybe be able to do other good things in the future."

We walked home together, holding hands. Suddenly a large tall male figure appeared complete with a police uniform accompanied by his bodyguard.

"Slady kid, want to kill yourself?" His words sounded so harsh and yet I was shocked, I ran out of words again when the man hit Usep in the face very hard.

I was shocked and could not believe what the man said. He's Usep's father? How could his father react that way after the courage that Usep showed?

"Sir, why do you talk like that? Usep did something very brave and saved a child's life. Isn't that something we should be proud of?" I said in a trembling voice, trying to understand this unexpected situation.

Usep's father let out a long sigh and looked rather depressed. "You don't understand, son. It was just stupidity and reckless actions from Usep. He should think more clearly and avoid such risks. What he did was only endangering himself."

I felt angry and annoyed by Usep's father's attitude. How could he not appreciate the courage of his son? I can't let Usep's father talk like that all the time.

"He did what he thought was right, sir. Usep has a noble heart and undeniable courage. If you can't appreciate that, then I don't know what can change your mind" I said firmly.

Usep's father was silent for a moment, perhaps surprised by my assertiveness. He seemed to think for a moment before finally putting out words in a softer tone.

"Maybe I'm reacting too hard, son. But as a father, I'm worried about Usep's safety. I don't want him to take such a dangerous risk. I want to protect her."

I understand a father's concerns, but I also see the positive side of Usep's actions. His courage inspired many people, including myself. I want to make Usep's dad see it from a different point of view.

"Sir, do you know that Usep's actions have affected many people? He inspired us with his courage. And I'm sure he'll learn from this experience. Usep is a hero" I said sincerely.

Usep's father listened to my words carefully, his expression turning softer. After a moment of silence, he nodded slowly.

"You're right, son. But, wait a minute. You who? why defend Usep so tenaciously?" His father Usep raised his eyebrows a sign he was very confused.
