Hatori Imas

Hatori Imas
Eel Oh Eel

Me and Ujang really went to the midnight rice field. Our mission is only one, looking for as many eels as possible. Pretty friends eat rice, usually we eat only rice featuring salt doang. want also dong eat the same meat, even though only eel meat.

With the flashlight we brought, we walked slowly across the paddy field surrounded by the darkness of night. The sound of crickets and the whirling of the wind became the backdrop for our hunt. Me and Ujang exchanged excited looks.

"Come, Ujang! We're gonna be great eel hunters!" I cried with enthusiasm.

Ujang raised his index finger up excitedly. "So sure, Imas! No eel can escape us!"

We walked among the paddy fields, looking for signs of eels. As we heard the sound of water gurgling that sounded stronger, we learned that we were getting closer.

"Hey, look! There you go, eel!" I cried while pointing towards the flashlight that reflected the shadow of a small animal moving in the water.

Ujang clenched his fists with vigor. "Let's go after them! Don't let a single eel get out of our hands!"

We ran around excitedly, following the fast-moving eel in the water. Sometimes we slip and fall, making both of us laugh in excitement.

"Awas, eel! We'll catch you!" I shouted while trying to catch up to the eel that was gliding agilely.

Ujang let out a loud laughing voice. "You can't escape, naughty eels!"

We race to catch each other's eels, sometimes successfully and sometimes unsuccessfully. We faced a hilarious incident when the eel managed to jump and hit our faces.

"Wahaha... Imas, your face is hugged by an eel!" Ujang laughed loudly, showing a joy that was difficult to match.

I wiped the mud from my face while laughing. "Hahaha.yeah, at least we can laugh together and get an exciting experience."

After hours of searching for eels, we finally managed to gather a large number of eels in our buckets. Pleased and dirty, we walked home with joyful steps.

"Mbuuuu.. We managed to get an eel!" we cheerfully shouted when we entered the house.

Mom just shook her head while smiling looking at us who were dirty and happy. "My weird, feminine little try."

wait up! you don't know my mother's name? ok, I introduce, my mother's name is Mother Euis. note yes!

okay, my mother took the bucket containing the eel and cooked it right away. I myself went to the bathroom because my body was full of mud, not far from the Terminator when camouflaged to avoid predators, which only the eyes look.

When I took a shower, I heard someone knocking on our door. "Assalamualaik."

My mother answered "wa'alaikumussalam." Then mom opened the door. It turns out my dad just came home. My father's name is Father Odo. Back when I was a kid Dad always encouraged me to care (meaning just brought, not to bother).

Finish my bath and then change clothes and immediately sit at the dining table. uppss. sorry guys, at home mace dining table, we if usual meal in the middle room, we, that's lesehan because we don't have a guest chair.

"Dad, I and Ujang went to look for eels in the fields" I told him, devouring a piece of eel. "We managed to get a lot of eels, Dad. I have to try it!"

Dad nodded with a proud smile. "Good, Son. You are good at finding your own food. But don't forget, eels should also be appreciated. They give us food, so we have to keep the balance of nature."

"Dad, don't make a sound, Dad!" My solute.

I laughed when I heard the protest. After dinner, we cleaned the table and spent time together in the living room. I feel lucky to have a family that supports each other and creates precious moments like this.

Shortly afterwards, I heard my voice coming from the kitchen. "Yeahhh... The deposit!"

Dad shook his head, "Newly also finish eating, have been playing todong aja." Dad pouts.

"Don't try and pretend to forget, Dad!" I threatened from the kitchen. Then Mother appeared from behind the curtain and held her Spatula, "Dad know what this is?" mom's eyes glared at Dad.

Dad and I looked at each other and laughed together. Mothers often make jokes like that which makes the atmosphere at home always cheerful. Despite living a simple life and without a formal dining table, the happiness and warmth of our family felt very real.

We continued our evening activities by playing cards in the living room. Dad is famous for his skills in card games, while me and mom are more often tough opponents that are hard to beat. Laughs and exclamations of excitement fill the room, creating unforgettable memories.

As the day began to dissolve, we tidied up the house together and prepared to sleep. Dad turned off the lights and jokingly said, "Time to rest, tomorrow morning there's a lot of work waiting for us!"

We walked into our rooms with smiles on our faces and hearts filled with gratitude for the family that loved each other.

"Kukkuruyuuukk." The rooster's voice sounded loud once in the ear. Understandably, beside my room is a chicken coop with Dad. I saw the clock, oalah.tu time of Fajr Prayer. I hurried to get some water and get ready for prayer.

Adhan Subuh was also reverberating. While waiting for Iqamah I repeat the memorization of my Qur'an yesterday, it has become my daily routine like that.

When Iqamah reverberated, I set foot towards the mukena and prayer mats that were already available in the corner of the room. In calm and solemn, I began the Fajr Prayer, following the movements I had memorized well.

In the silence and quiet of the morning, the voice of the rooster from the outside is still heard, such as giving spirit and a reminder of the obligation to carry out worship. I feel blessed by the presence of the rooster, as a faithful reminder of prayer times.

After I finished praying, I felt my heart and mind become calmer and full of blessing. In the still fresh calm of the morning, I continued to recite the recitation of the Qur'an, maintaining my spiritual connection with God.

As the sun began to appear on the eastern horizon, I felt filled with positive energy and the zeal to live a new day. I thank Allah for the blessings given, including the opportunity to worship solemnly and explore His verses.

After repeating the recitation of the Qur'an, I kept the Qur'an with respect and love. Then, I went from the prayer hall with peace in my heart and re-entered my daily rhythm with renewed vigor.

After taking a shower and getting ready to start activities, I walked out of the room with a smile on my face. I am ready to face whatever is to come, with the confidence that God will always accompany my steps and guide me.
