At Spotaker High School, Vey looks so uninspired. The path is empty and the view is empty. "Gold now dating Usep, I really feel empty." He murmured in his heart.
Meanwhile his classmates feel sorry to see Vey who is so limp and not excited for school.
"Vey, what's wrong with you?" Rokayah tried to ask what was troubling Vey's mind at the moment.
"Ahh. nothing." Vey replied which changed her attitude to clumsy.
"I see you're very unfocused, even for walking." Rokayah again urges Vey to tell her the problem.
"A...A.. I'm focused." Vey answered with a sigh.
"If you're focused, there's no way you're not aware that you've just stepped on a cat shit." Rokayah answered with a smile.
Vey was shocked to hear what Rokayah said. His face flushed with embarrassment, but he could not help but laugh a little at the funny incident either.
"What's? Seriously? I didn't realize!" Vey said as he tried to clean his shoes from the cat's clinging tai.
Rokayah and the other classmates laughed at Vey's reaction. They were relieved to see Vey finally showing a hint of cheerfulness despite the small incident.
"Look, Vey, you need to relax more and try to find a little happiness around you" Rokayah said empathetically. "I know you're in trouble with one thing, but don't let it make you lose your passion for school and enjoy life around you."
Vey looked at Rokayah with admiration, "Thank you, Rokayah. I know you care about me. Granted, I feel empty because of heart problems, but you're right, I can't sacrifice my other happiness."
The other classmates also nodded their heads in agreement. They hope Vey can return to being the cheerful Vey he was before.
"Look, Vey. We're all here for you. If you want to talk or share your burden, we are ready to listen and help" Rokayah said with support.
Vey smiled in front of his caring friends. He feels lucky to have classmates who pay attention to him and are ready to support him. Although the problem is not over yet, Vey feels a little lighter and eager to face her days.
"So you want to tell a story now?" Rokayah asked again because she was still curious.
"Gold. The pity broke my heart. He now has a girlfriend named Usep our schoolmate." Answer Vey in a slow tone.
"Ahh.. You have a crush on that gesrek girl?" Ask Rokayah back.
"Woyy. don't call Imas that. Imas is the perfect woman in my eyes." Vey replied a little upset.
"I'm sorry, I just saw from normal human glasses, Vey. Anybody wants to wear different-pattern socks and go to school with an eel, if he's a normal human being." Said Rokayah trying to resuscitate Vey.
Vey pondered for a moment after hearing Rokayah's words. He began to consider what his friend was saying. Perhaps true, Imas is indeed unusual in behavior and appearance. However, Vey always sees the other good side of Imas, such as his kindness, his cheerfulness, and his attitude of concern for the surrounding environment.
"But Rokayah, I believe that behind her unique appearance and behavior, Imas is a special person" Vey said steadily. "She has a unique personality that fascinates me."
Rokayah nodded in understanding. "I understand, Vey. Everyone has different preferences and views when looking for a partner. If Imas makes you happy, then you must follow your heart. But remember to keep a close eye on your own feelings and communicate with Imas honestly about how you feel."
Vey sighed deeply, feeling sad and disappointed by Imas' decision. He seeks to understand that everyone has the right to choose a partner that they think is suitable for them.
"Not all romantic relationships end with us being a life partner, Vey," Rokayah said gently. "Sometimes, other people choose different paths, not because we are unworthy, but because each individual has unique preferences and desires."
Vey nodded slowly, accepting Rokayah's words. "Maybe it's not time for us to be together yet, and that doesn't mean there's something wrong with me. I have to accept this reality and learn to move on with life without feeling too empty."
The other classmates supported and encouraged Vey. They remind her that life is still full of opportunities and possibilities to find happiness, both in romantic relationships and in other aspects of her life.
In the next few weeks, Vey attempted to heal his heart wounds and focus on his personal growth. He was involved in various activities at school and developed his interests and talents.
His classmates remain by his side, providing support and pleasing Vey on his recovery journey. They invite Vey to engage in social activities, play games, and share laughter together.
Slowly but surely, Vey begins to rediscover his passion and happiness. He realized that life was moving forward, and there were many opportunities and experiences waiting for him in the future.
"Even if Imas chooses someone else, I will not let that stop my steps to achieve my own dreams and happiness" Vey said with renewed determination. "I will continue to fight and develop as a better person."
His classmates applauded and gave a feisty smile to Vey. They are proud to see their friends rise up and find strength in themselves.
Rokayah came back to Vey and she brought a little good news for him.
"Vey, take a look at 2 o'clock from your side. You'll be fascinated." Rokayah suddenly opened the chat with a booming statement.
"You mean the girl with the red ribbon on her head?" Vey answered ascertaining his view.
"Follow, his name is Saidah. The Lurah boy in the neighborhood here. Beautiful isn't?" Rokayah teased Vey a little.
"Yes, she's beautiful. But, what does that have to do with me?" Vey becomes confused by Rokayah's intention of showing Saidah to him.
"He's Single!" Rokayah replied while whispering right in Vey's ear.
Vey tried to digest the purpose and purpose of Rokayah with the sentence. "You mean, you want to match me to Saidah?" Vey seemed to understand what Rokayah wanted.
"I just want to get you back excited about life, Vey." Rokayah said understandingly.
"I know, Rokayah. Saidah is beautiful, but she doesn't have what Imas has." Vey still remains with his stance to remain faithful waiting for Imas.
"You don't know who Saidah really is. Why are you so sure?" Ask Rokayah.
"Hmmm.. I don't know. Maybe you're right, maybe Saidah has advantages that Imas never had." He lowered his ego a little.
"Naaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. That's wise." Said Rokayah while patting Vey's shoulder.
