Hatori Imas
Spreading the business wings

I was so busy with my on-line eel order. In fact, I was overwhelmed by organizing school and business schedules. This made my mother even more worried about my situation.

"Gold, it's time for you to recruit employees to back up your business." My mother said with a face full of taste to me.

"Yes, Mommy. I also began to be overwhelmed by this enslaving order." I complained a little bit to Mom.

Mother nodded in understanding while putting her hands on my shoulders. "You did a great job, Imas. But you need to recognize your limits and prioritize your health and your education."

I realized that mom was right. I can't constantly ignore my school obligations and sacrifice health just for this online eel business. I need to take steps to resolve this situation.

"Good, Mother. I will start looking for employees who can help manage this business" I said with determination. "I'll also set the schedule better, give enough time for school and time off."

My mother smiled at hearing my words. "That's a wise decision, Imas. You need to strike a balance between school and business responsibilities. Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it."

I was relieved to hear the support and understanding from my mother. In the next few days, I began the process of recruiting employees for my business. I asked friends for help and advertised the job vacancy.

Meanwhile, I also made a more regular schedule. I set working hours for myself and made sure I had enough time to study and rest. I realized that maintaining balance was the key to staying productive and healthy.

So long looking for employees, it turns out I have difficulty finding employees that fit the criteria I want. Usep looked at me with a sense of wanting to help.

"Don't you have an employee yesterday, Imas?" Usep asked in a confused tone.

"It's just the neighbor who's being idle, Usep. They have a job now, so they can't help me anymore." I explained the core of the problem.

"I understand, Imas," Usep replied while nodding. "But you can still find a new employee, right? There may be others interested in working in your business."

I shook my head with a bit of disappointment. "I've been trying to find, Usep. But it seems difficult to find someone who is suitable and willing to work here. My business was small, and a lot of people preferred fixed-paying jobs and other benefits."

Usep thought for a moment, then he suggested, "How about you find another alternative, Imas? For example, using technology to help manage your business. Is there a system or application that can help automate some tasks?"

I nodded considering Usep's suggestion. "Maybe that's a good idea, Usep. I'll find out about a system or app that can help manage my eel business. Maybe with the help of technology, I can reduce the workload that I take on myself."

After a conversation with Usep, I started researching a system or application that could help automate my business. I came up with several solutions, such as an online order management system, a schedule setting app, and an inventory tracking tool.

I started implementing some of those solutions in my business. An online order management system helps to organize and monitor orders more efficiently. The schedule setting app helps to easily set employee work schedules and avoid clashing with my school schedule. Inventory tracking tools help manage eel inventory and ensure proper stock availability.

With this technology solution, I feel more organized and can save time in running my business. Although I was still working hard, my workload was reduced and I was able to focus more on my education.

When despair struck, suddenly Ujang came to my house. He came in shorts like he was out playing football.

"Yes, Ujang. Why the hell?" I'm a little curious.

"Maybe my cousin can help you, he just happened to graduate school but hasn't had a job until now." Ujang answered and made me an offer.

I nodded in thanks to Ujang for his offer. "Thank you very much, Ujang. I really appreciate it. Can you introduce me to your cousin?"

Ujang smile. "of course! Come on, he's waiting at the stall. I'll take you there."

We walked outside and headed towards the stall in question. In front of the shop, Ujang introduced me to his cousin named Rizki. Rizki looks cheerful and ready to help.

"So you need help in your business, Imas?" ask Rizki.

I'm nodding. "Yes, Rizki. I need help organizing and managing my online eel business. I'm overwhelmed with more and more tasks, and I need someone who can work well together and be responsible."

Rizki nodded in understanding. "I just graduated from school and have no work experience, but I'm ready to learn and give my best. I'm also interested in the business world, so this is a good opportunity for me."

I smile. "It's good, Rizki! I'm glad to hear that. Come on, let's talk about the details, including tasks and work schedules. We also need to make deals on salaries and other things."

We spoke seriously and made sure all work-related matters were clearly explained. After reaching an agreement, I felt relieved and excited to have Rizki as a new employee.

After a few days, Rizki started working at my business. He showed dedication and a desire to learn. We work together to set adequate work schedules, divide tasks well, and support each other in running business operations.

With Rizki's help, my business is getting smoother and growing. I no longer feel overwhelmed organizing everything alone. We constantly communicate and provide feedback to each other to improve business efficiency.

Not only that, Rizki also brought a new spirit and fresh ideas into my business. We discussed marketing strategies, product innovation, and future business development. Its existence helped to relax the mother who was always worried about my condition.

"Alhamdulillah, Imas. Your business is growing and growing. I'm sure in the future, you will soon understand how to send your sales abroad and how to be the first eel exporter." Usep gave his opinion.

"Bah... I haven't thought much in that direction, Usep." I said while blushing in shame.

"I'm ashamed to see myself. As a man, I have not been successful in business. I salute you, Imas." Usep gave me compliments again, and it really made me even more embarrassed and awkward.

"I have to thank Ujang, he helped me find an employee to back up everything during my school days." I spoke with a moved tone.

"Whoever it is, you have contributed to reduce the number of unemployed in Indonesia, Imas. I salute you and I'm proud to have a boyfriend like you." Usep grabbed my hand and it made my heart beat.
