Very early in the morning Vey called my name from the outside. "Gold, go to school with yuk!" Vey volunteered to go to school with him.

"Thank you, Vey. But, i..." I haven't had time to finish my sentence, Vey chimed in, "You're pretending to be Ninja Hatori? no, Imas. You're still less fit to walk far, better go with my car." Vey gave me a reasonable excuse. Finally Vey and I went to school in Vey's father's car.

We both got into Vey's comfortable father's car. Vey drove carefully, watching every traffic sign and making sure our ride was safe.

In the car, we kept talking and sharing stories. Vey told me about the interesting things that happened at school during my absence. I was thrilled to hear it and feel re-connected to my school world.

"Now it's been almost a week you haven't been to school, Imas. Your teachers and friends will miss you" Vey said cheerfully.

I smile. "Yes, I miss them too. I miss studying together and spending time in school. Thank you, Vey, for driving me there today."

Arriving at school, I got out of the car with Vey. Immediately I saw the warm smiles of the classmates who were gathered in front of the entrance.

"Gold! You're back!" exclaimed Rina, one of my classmates, while running over to me. The other friends also greeted me enthusiastically.

I felt happy and moved to see their support and warmth. I feel like I'm back home after a long time. I knew that I was surrounded by friends who cared and were ready to support me.

While walking towards the classroom, Vey stayed with me. "Look, Imas. You really mean a lot to us. Welcome back!"

I smiled at Vey. "Thank you, Vey. You are the best friend I could hope for. I'm grateful to have you by my side."

That day, at school, I felt stronger and more energetic. I enjoy every moment of learning and interacting with friends.

When the lesson ended, I was with Vey back home in his car. On the way home, I thanked Vey. "Vey, I'm really grateful for all your help and support. Without you, maybe I haven't been able to go back to school with this kind of spirit."

Vey smiled and replied, "You know, Imas, you owe me twice."

I was speechless, "it looks like Vey's not messing around about the service debt." I said in my heart. I hope this is just my fear, I hope Vey only jokes every time he counts his service debt to me.

Arriving home, I was shocked because it turns out that in the house Usep was sitting in the guest room waiting for me to come home. "Consider, when are you here?"

"15 minutes ago, where were you?" Usep looks anxious and jealous.

"I went home with Vey, Sep. I still can't walk too far, I'm afraid my condition is still unstable." I tried to explain to Usep so that there would be no misunderstanding.

"Ohhhh.. gini aja, because you are not well right, from tomorrow I take you to school." Usep spoke while taking out his phone. "What is your WhatsApp number, Imas?" Usep reconnects his words.

"Gold you don't have a cell phone, Sep." I answered straight.

"Hmm. Wait a minute, I want to talk to your mother." Usep stood up and rushed to see my mother. I just sit back and look at the situation right now. I was confused, what is this.

Shortly after, Usep returned with a happy smile on his face. "Now you change your clothes, Imas. We'll walk out for a minute." Usep blinked his eyes.

"Where are you going, Usep?" I'm a little confused.

"I've got permission from you, I want to give you something." Reply to Usep with a spirited expression.

after I changed clothes, we went to the market which was a good distance from my home. Usep took me to a mobile store.

Usep walked next to me while giving a guide. "Look at all the options, Imas. Choose what you think is best suited and suits your needs."

"I mean, Sep?" I'm getting confused by Usep's intentions.

"I'm having a hard time communicating with you, Imas. Hence, just think of this phone as my gift for your recovery." Answer Usep attentively.

I looked at various models and brands of mobile phones. Some of them look very sophisticated with interesting features, but I am not very familiar with the technical specifications.

Finally, my eyes were fixed on one phone that looked simple but functional. "Come on, what about this one?" ask me while pointing the phone with a medium screen and a simple design.

Usep looked at the phone I pointed at with a smile. "Good choice, Imas. It is a very popular and easy to use phone. You will definitely feel the benefits."

I decided to buy that phone. Usep helps me in the process of purchasing and setting up a SIM card. When we finished, we left the store with a new phone in hand.

"Thank you, Usep. I didn't expect that you'd give me a cell phone." I thank you sincerely.

Usep smile. "You are my best friend, Imas. I want you to have a cell phone so that we can more easily communicate and share."

We walked back home talking about cell phone use and what we could do with the technology. I feel good about having a cell phone, not just because of its sophistication, but because the gift came from my true friend, Usep.

When I got home, I entered the room with a grateful heart. I sat in bed and watched my new phone. I feel more connected to the world out there and ready to communicate with my friends at school.

I sent a message to my classmates to tell them that I now have a cell phone. Their response was very positive and enthusiastic. I feel closer to them and happy to share the moment together.

While looking at the screen, I smiled. I feel lucky to have friends like Usep and the closest people in my life who have always cared and supported me.

Before going to bed, Usep sent me a message.

"Good night, Imas. How's the new phone, you like it?" Ask Usep.

I smiled at the message from Usep. I immediately responded with joy.

"Good night, Sep. I really like my new phone! Thank you again, you are truly an amazing friend. This phone will facilitate our communication and make us closer. Thank you for always caring and supporting me."

Not long after, a reply message from Usep appeared on my phone screen.

"No need to thank you, Imas. I just want to see you happy and happy. We've been through a lot together, and I hope we can continue to strengthen our friendship. If there is anything you need or if you want to share a story, feel free to contact me, yes! Have a good night, Imas. May you wake up tomorrow with a new spirit."

I turned off my phone screen and felt a sense of fatigue enveloping my body after a day filled with surprise and a feeling of happiness. I feel optimistic and excited to face a new tomorrow.
