Hard choices

"I want to go to a ranch school, but I don't know where." I told Usep about my interest after college.

"Well, let's get into the GPA and we focus on our business, Imas." Usep was full of spirit.

I was surprised by Usep's decision that even went with my wishes. "Ehh... Why don't you choose the college and the department you want?" I was surprised by Usep.

"I don't need a title, Imas. Without a title we have actually been successful in the Eel business. We are only fixated on education, while what is clearly profitable in front of us, you forget." Usep replied with a smile.

I fell silent and pondered on Usep's words. "True, my eel business is almost certain to go global, why I abandoned it just for the sake of education." I said in my own heart.

After pondering for a moment, I nodded in agreement with Usep's words. Although I was hesitant and surprised at first, Usep's decision made me realize that education is not the only path to success.

"I understand what you mean, Usep," I said at last. "You're right, our eel business has great potential and is already showing profitable results. Why should I waste that chance just for the sake of the title?"

Usep smiled and nodded in agreement. "That's right, Imas. We have worked hard to build this business, and the opportunity that lies before our eyes is so tempting. I'm sure we can achieve greater success if we focus on this business."

With renewed vigor, we both agreed to focus on growing our eel business. We recognize that success does not always depend on a degree or formal education, but rather on hard work, creativity, and the ability to see opportunities around us.

Although I still plan to continue my education in the livestock major in the future, we decided to postpone that plan and prioritize our current business development. We recognize that this decision may require commitment and sacrifice, but we believe that it is the right step to achieve the success we dream of.

"Alright, Imas.we are already dizzy with our serious chatter today. Now it's time for us to have some fun. Tomorrow we go to the beach, how?" Take Usep while holding my head full of affection.

I smiled and felt relieved by Usep's suggestion for fun. After quite a serious discussion, we did need some time to relax and let go of the burden for a moment.

"Good, that idea sounds fun" I replied, feeling increasingly excited. "We can enjoy our free time, enjoy the beach, and relieve stress for a moment. It will definitely refresh our minds."

We decided to go to Anyer Beach, which is famous for the beauty of its beaches. I rushed home and was about to tell my mother and father all my plans.

I came home with a smile I couldn't contain. I am excited to share my plans and decisions with my parents. When I entered the house, I saw my mother was busy in the kitchen.

"Mother, Father, there are things I want to talk about" I said, trying to calm myself down.

She looked at me with a warm smile. "What's up, kid? Tell me," said the mother.

Mom and Dad listened attentively. After I finished telling the story, they looked at each other for a moment before you finally gave the response.

"Gold, we support you in whatever your choice is" he said in a firm but supportive voice. "We believe that you are an intelligent child and have a clear vision for your future. If you feel that the eel business is the right path for you right now, then move on. We will always support you."

I feel so grateful to have a parent who understands and supports my dreams. Mother related the words of the Father by saying, "But, son, do not forget that education is still important. If one day you want to continue your studies in the livestock department, it is a good choice. Grow your business now, and the opportunity to learn is always in the future."

I nodded, understanding what they were saying. I feel relieved and trusted by my parents. I knew that they supported me completely, both in growing the business and in choosing education.

"Well, tomorrow I'm going to the beach. Mommy and dad want to come?" I asked while eating the snacks at the dinner table.

Mom and Dad looked at each other and smiled. "Of course, Son. A vacation to the beach sounds like a fun plan" said the mother enthusiastically.

He added, "We also need time to relax and enjoy the moment with the family. The beach is the right place for that. We can spend time together, play water, and enjoy the beauty of nature."

I am very happy and grateful for the support of my parents. Holidays to the beach will be a fun time for us to fill the energy, enjoy togetherness, and calm the mind after a serious discussion earlier.

The next day, we left for Anyer Beach with great enthusiasm. We bring beach equipment, snacks, and a heart full of excitement. Our trip to the beach was full of laughter and jokes.

Upon arrival at the beach, we found a comfortable place to put our gear. Usep and I ran towards the waves, letting the sea water touch our feet. Mom and Dad were sitting near the beach, enjoying the breeze and the beautiful scenery.

We spent time playing around on the beach, swimming, building sand castles, and enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings. We laughed, talked, and filled the day with excitement. All the worries and heavy decisions earlier seemed to feel far away in this place.

As the sun began to set, we sat together on the beach, enjoying a quiet and peaceful moment. The beautiful atmosphere of the beach and our closeness as a family made me feel lucky and grateful.

"I feel so happy to spend this time with you" I said gratefully.

Mom smiled and rubbed my head gently. "Mom feels the same way, son. This is a precious moment for mom and dad. We are always there for you and support you in every choice you make."

The father agreed. "Remember, son, your happiness and success are not determined by just one thing, such as education or business. It is the journey of your life, and you have the ability and freedom to determine its direction. We will always support you in whatever you choose."

While we were enjoying the BBQ party, suddenly a hysterical scream came from the beach.
