Hatori Imas

Hatori Imas
Is this love?

"Gold, we're coming home on your Hatori path." Take Usep so enthusiastically.

I nodded but was astonished by Usep's wishes. "Far off, Usep." I said, raising an eyebrow, I wanted to make sure that my journey back was indeed very far.

"As long as you're with you, everything will feel close, Imas." Usep patted my shoulder.

"Buck!" I said with a big smile.

We ended up walking down the pesawahan and the vast garden. Usep looks so enjoyed his journey. "It is fitting that people call you Hatori, indeed his journey is like a Ninja Hatori song." Usep said with a crisp laugh.

"Gold, where's the closest stall here?" Usep asked with a tired-looking face.

"Shy?" ask me to relax.

"Crazy, this is really energy draining, Imas." Sahut Usep while holding his knee with a breath of breath.

"in 100 meters we have the first shop, we buy mineral water there." I said as I pulled Usep's hand to immediately continue our journey.

We walked on until we found Rukayah's mother's shop. The shop is located in the middle of a thick forest. I myself wonder why Ibu Rukayah opened a stall there, but rarely people pass the path.

"Mothers... Ibuuuuu." I shouted to call Rukayah.

"Yes, Neng Imas. What are you buying?" Rukayah's mother asked with her friendly smile.

"Buy Aqua, Mom." Answer's short.

"Waahh, Imas tumben came home from school with a new boy. Where to?" Rukayah's mother started to see the two of us.

"Ujang is at sea, ma'am." I talk because I'm lazy to talk and talk.

"Wahh, Ujang is great. School is a holiday to the sea." Rukayah's mother said innocently.

Usep and I frowned, we exchanged glances and laughed out loud. Rukayah's mother was astonished to see us laughing indistinctly.

After a few minutes passed, we finally arrived at a pond that had not been taken care of for a long time. I assume there are a lot of eels here. "Usep, our target seems to be a lot here." I said with complete confidence.

Usep and I really enjoy being together in search of eels. I didn't expect Usep to be very good at catching eels.

"You're great too, Usep. I'm amazed to see your latent skills in catching eels." I looked at Usep's face full of mud, which only had his eyes.

Once enough was felt, we immediately continued our journey to my house. It's still a long way from where we're looking for eels.

Upon arrival, Usep and I cleaned our hands and feet outside. Incidentally I always provide water in a large barrel where rainwater is collected. Just in case the PDAM water is again a nuisance.

My mother greeted us with a smile. "Gold my son has come home. Waahh. There's Usep too, come in!" My mother allowed Usep to enter the house.

We entered the house with a smile on our faces. I was happy to bring Usep to my house. My mother always welcomed my friends warmly.

"Thank you, Mom. We were a bit thirsty earlier so stopped by for a bit at Rukayah's Mom's shop," I explained to my mother as I took off my shoes and put them on the shoe rack.

"Oh, so yeah. Rukayah's mother must be happy to serve you" said my mother, pouring drinks for both of us.

"Where is there? just keep paying, Mom." Answer grumbling.

"Your house is good, Imas. The surroundings were also cool and beautiful, "usep commented while nodding in satisfaction.

"I'm glad you like it, Usep. This house is simple but you have to know during the rainy season," I replied while ngakak.

"Why indeed?" Usep was curious while looking at the strange things he might find around my house.

My mother joined us and sat down next to me. He looked at us both with great affection.

"Usep, Imas always told me about you. He said you were his best friend at school and always helped him" my mother said, looking at Usep.

"Yes, Mom. We often play and learn together. Imas was a good friend and always helped me if I was in trouble," Usep replied kindly.

My mother smiled with satisfaction. "I'm glad you have friends like Usep, Imas. Good friends are precious."

We continued our conversation in the living room. My mother asked about Usep's family and how we were doing at school. Usep enthusiastically told me about his life and his fun hobby.

Time passed and the twilight began to fall. Usep realized that it was time to go home. He stood up and thanked my mother.

"Thank you, ma'am, for the warm welcome. I am happy to meet and visit this house" Usep said, bowing his body.

"Mother is also happy to see you, Usep. Don't hesitate to come back to our house next time" my mother said with a smile.

Usep said goodbye then he soon passed away from our house. My mother looked at me with a naughty look. "Ehmm.mm.. My son has a girlfriend like her." Mom smiled at me with a seductive smile.

"Apaan the buuuu.. Usep's just a schoolmate, ma'am." I replied shy Lion. ehh.

In the room, I smiled to myself as I recalled the incident that I had spent with Usep. There are times when Usep looks silly, but there are times when Usep is very mature, an attitude that Ujang and Vey do not have.

"Maybe you're right, I seem to be in love with Usep." I said in my heart. However, suddenly my imagination came to a halt as I thought, "Love what does that mean?"

I went to see my mother. "Moeuuu... I want to ask." I shouted unclear.

My mom who was busy in the kitchen immediately replied, "What's up, Imas?"

I sat down on the chair next to the kitchen table, looking at my mother with a face full of questions. "Mom, I'm gonna ask you, what is love?"

My mother was surprised by my question. He put down the knife he was holding and sat down in front of me. "Love, Imas, is a very special feeling. Love is when we feel very close and caring about someone, when we feel happy while with them, and want to do everything that is best for them."

I nodded, but I was still curious. "Then, Mom, how do we know we love someone?"

My mother smiled gently. "Love can be felt in many different ways, Imas. When you feel like you're always with someone, feel good and comfortable being with them, and think about them all the time, it can be a sign that you love them."

I thought for a moment, trying to relate my mother's explanation to my feelings for Usep. Feelings of longing when parting with her, happiness when together, and an unstoppable smile when looking at her. All of those are probably signs that I really love Usep.

"Mother, can I love Usep?" manyworry.

My mother smiled gently at my worries. He embraced me with great affection. "Love is a complex feeling, Imas. But if you feel that way, there's nothing wrong with that. Love can appear among friends as well. First of all, it's important to respect each other and communicate openly."

My mother continued, "If you feel you have special feelings for Usep, it's important to pay attention to the signs and cues he shows. It may be that your feelings are romantic, or it may just be a feeling of affection and closeness as a strong friend."
