Hatori Imas
Good news

After Usep and Ujang came home, I returned home with mixed feelings. I knew that the decision to go to Australia was a great opportunity for my future, but it also meant that I had to leave loved ones behind.

Mother looked at my confusion and said softly, "Gold, this is a difficult decision, but you have to think about your future. Don't let your worries and longings get in the way of your dreams."

I nodded, feeling overwhelmed by mother's support. "Thank you, Mom. I know it's not an easy decision, but I believe that this is the right move for my future."

Then, I started planning all the necessary preparations for the trip to Australia. I had to take care of my visa, find a place to live, and organize everything related to college and life there. Usep also offers help to help with all of that.

A few days later, we both went to the embassy to arrange visas. Although the process was time-consuming and quite complicated, I finally managed to obtain the necessary student visa. It felt like a dream come true when I held my passport with an Australian visa in it.

Meanwhile, my growing business also needs to be managed well. I entrusted Usep to take care of all the business while I was in Australia. We create a regular schedule for submitting business reports, communicating via video calls, and advising each other. I am so grateful for Usep's great dedication in helping to keep my business running smoothly.

"You don't have to worry, our Eel business will still go, Imas." Usep said with a smile.

"I believe in you, Usep." I spoke with a heart moved by Usep's help.

The day of farewell arrived. Family and closest friends gathered at home to give my prayerful and hopeful departure. Usep and Ujang were also present there, giving their support and love.

"Gold, take good care of yourself there. Keep the spirit of pursuing your dreams, and never forget us here," Ujang uttered with teary eyes.

I looked at Ujang and said, "Of course, Ujang. You will always be in my heart, and I promise to come back and continue our precious moments together."

Then, it was my turn to say goodbye to Usep. We hugged each other tightly and said the last words before the breakup.

"Usep, I'm so lucky to have you as such an understanding and supportive boyfriend. Thank you for everything you've done for me. I will always miss you, but I believe that our love will be strong even though distance separates us."

Usep looked at me lovingly and said, "Gold, don't worry about our relationship. We will continue to support each other and maintain good communication. I'll always be here for you."

With a heart full of joy and confidence, I say goodbye to my loved ones. Although there is sadness in my heart, there is also excitement and excitement to start a new adventure.

After that farewell, I left for Australia with mixed feelings. Arriving there, I was picked up by a university officer who arranged for international student accommodation. I started a new life in a new country, with a different language and culture.

The adaptation process wasn't easy, but I was determined to do it well. I joined a group of Indonesian students on campus, where I was able to share my experiences and gain support from my fellow countrymen. I'm also trying to learn English better and get to know Australian culture.

One day, Laura, a woman from the United States, came up to me and greeted me with a stammering Indonesian language. "Hallo, my name is Laura. You are Indonesian Gold, right?"

I was shocked but immediately replied, "No, but, where did you get the name Gold?"

Laura pointed to the name tag hanging on my chest. "Ooh, sorry. I'm not used to reading Indonesian yet" Laura said with a shy smile.

It's okay" I replied with a laugh. "It's good to see you, Laura. You just came here too?"

"Yes, I'm an international student too. I'm from America and I'm going to college in the same department as you" Laura said with a friendly smile.

From there, we started talking more and became good friends. Laura helped me in understanding some of the difficult lecture material in English, and I helped her in understanding the culture and customs in Indonesia.

Not felt, time passed quickly. I've adapted to life in Australia and studied in my studies. Although I miss my family, friends, and Usep in Indonesia, but I also feel happy with the new growth and experience I have gained here.

"Gold, you have an event today?" Laura asked me.

"Nothing, what is it?" I was surprised and astonished by Laura's impromptu question.

"I want to take you to the library, I'm lazy to spend time in the library alone." Said Laura with a pouting face.

"Ohh... Of course, I will accompany you, Laura, I also want to find a book on business." I nodded and agreed with Laura.

The two of us went to the campus library, walking together while talking about college, future plans, and life in Australia. In the library, we searched for the books we needed and sat at separate desks to read.

A few hours passed, I felt fascinated by the quiet atmosphere of the library and focused on studies. I feel motivated to learn and improve my understanding in the field of business that I work in. Laura also seemed to seriously read her books, occasionally taking notes on important matters.

After some time, Laura walked up to me and said, "Gold, I found a very good book on business management. Come on, let's see it together."

We share our knowledge and discuss it. We give each other views and opinions on the topics discussed in the book. It feels great to have classmates who can support and learn together.

"Why are you interested in business, Imas? do you want to open your own company?" Laura asked with curiosity.

"I've got my own business, I've become my country's eel supplier." I relax.

Laura was surprised, and then asked, "Egg? who needs eels? in my country eels have absolutely no fans." Laura was shocked.

I smiled at Laura's startled comments about my business. I then explained more about my eel business and the potential of the existing market.

"I understand that eels may not be very popular in your country, but in Indonesia, eels have a pretty high demand. Eels are often used in typical dishes such as eel meatballs, eel pecels, and other dishes. In addition, some people also consume eels for health purposes because of their good nutritional content."

Laura listened enthusiastically and asked further, "How do you market your eel? Do you sell it online?"

"I use several marketing channels, including online sales. I have websites and social media that I use to promote my products. In addition, I also cooperated with restaurants, traditional markets, and local collectors to distribute eels to consumers. I am also planning to sell eel products internationally after gaining more experience and knowledge in the business" I explained.

Laura seemed impressed by my hard work and interest in the business world. He expressed his admiration, "Gold, I really admire your passion and dedication in growing your business. You are truly inspiring!"

"Gold, it just so happens that my father runs a restaurant business in America. I'll have you talk to him later and who knows if you can work with my father." Laura said with sparkling eyes.

My eyes widened, I was very enthusiastic to hear the words of Laura. I feel this is one way to grow my business on an international scale.
