Hatori Imas

Hatori Imas
Feeling reborn

"I'm sorry, I forgot which one's a guy named Ujang." My answer was short and my head was getting more and more painful.

Instantly Ujang sat down limply. "He still can't remember well. I think I can help her remember all our memories."

When Ujang expressed his disappointment because I could not remember him well, my mother and father approached and stroked Ujang's shoulders with empathy. They know how difficult the situation is.

"Clearned, Ujang. Imas is having a great hard time" said the mother gently. "We all have to be patient and give him time to recover."

My father added, "We must understand that the process of memory recovery takes time and understanding. Imas didn't do it on purpose, and he must have struggled to recall."

Ujang, though still feeling disappointed, nodded his head and tried to relax the tension within him. "Sorry, Imas. I should have been more patient and understood your situation. I'll stay here for you, whenever you need."

The headmaster, who had been observing with attention, proposed that we all give myself space and time to rest and recuperate.

"Gold, maybe now is the right time for you to rest and gather energy. We'll give you the time you need and stay here for you" the principal said attentively.

I was relieved to hear those words. In a state of confusion, exhaustion, and pain, I urgently needed time to rest and calm my mind.

"Thank you everyone" I said in a weak voice. "I appreciate your support and understanding. I'll try to rest now and hope to remember more someday."

With mixed feelings, I lay down on my comfortable bed. My mother, father, Ujang, and everyone in my room left me in peace.

"Kaos kaki different patterns, Eel, Ujang, aaahhh... why is it so difficult for me to find the common thread of all this?" I'm angry with myself. "Oh my God, what else can make me remember everything?" Back I tried to remember the little things that might bring me back to remember everything.

I looked at the wall of my room, I saw so many cartoon posters with ninja but funny pictures. I read the book, Ninja Hatori.

"For a while, I felt familiar with Hatori." I said in my heart. I looked back at the poster, and I saw pictures of mountains, rice fields, rivers and towering hills.

"THAT'S IT!" I suddenly remembered something. "Ibuuuu.." I screamed for my mother. Hearing me scream, not only did my mother come, but everyone who was there immediately ran into my room.

"What's up, baby?" My mother asked with a worried and hopeful face.

"Can you take me to a place like that?" I pointed towards the poster of Ninja Hatori in the middle of the forest.

Everyone in my room looked at me in astonishment, yet they tried to understand the intent of my request. My mother approached and stared intently at the poster I was pointing at.

"Yes, honey. I can take you to such a place if you want to leave," replied my mother gently but a little confused.

Without much hesitation, I got out of bed and asked the help of everyone around me to prepare a trip to a place I considered to have a common thread with my memories.

Mother prepared the things I might need, while Ujang and my schoolmates provided support and encouragement. They were willing to accompany me on this journey, even though they themselves had no idea what we were looking for or what I expected to find there.

In a short time, we set off for the place pictured on the Ninja Hatori poster. Our journey through the streets of green and peaceful rural areas.

We walked down the path, through the lush trees, and heard the gurgling sound of the river flowing nearby. Fresh air and natural beauty seemed to give new hope for this trip.

After walking quite a distance, we finally arrived at a place that was indeed very similar to the scene on the poster. I stood on a small hill and looked around expectantly.

"It's okay, Imas. Whatever the outcome, we will stay here for you" said the mother gently, understanding my tension and anxiety.

I took a deep breath and tried to feel every detail around me. The scent of the ground, the sound of leaves rustling, and the gentle breeze that swept across my face. It all gave off a familiar vibe and made me feel close to something missing.

In silence and silence, I closed my eyes. I tried to connect between the poster, my lost memory, and the scene in front of me. I felt such a strong presence, a force pulling me in.

When I opened my eyes, I saw the beloved faces present around me. Their eyes are full of hope and support. Then, a miracle happened.

The lost memories began to return in flashes of light. I saw pictures from my childhood, adventures with friends, happy moments in the family, and every precious second I ever experienced.

When I looked at my mother, there was such deep warmth and affection in her eyes. I know, I've found a common thread in my lost life.

With a feeling of happiness and gratitude, I embraced my mother and thanked everyone who had accompanied me on this journey.

"I remember everything!" I cried with a cheerful voice. "I remember my family, my friends, and the precious memories of my life."

"I am, IMAS HATORI!" I screamed loudly because I felt so happy to be able to recall everything.

Everyone who heard and saw me looked at each other and was astonished. "Gold healed!" Ujang shouted happily, while the headmaster was still confused. "Who is Imas Hatori?"

Just look at the confused headmaster all the students were laughing out loud. "Yes sir, we call Imas by the nickname Imas Hatori because every day he went to school by climbing mountains, passing valleys, down rivers, like Ost. Ninja Hatori." Answer the children simultaneously.

Smiles and boisterous laughter filled the air. Everyone around me celebrated this moment with infinite joy.

We returned home with a heart full of joy. The memories that returned made me feel complete, and I knew that no one could take that common thread from me anymore. In the arms of my family and friends, I felt infinite happiness.
