Hatori Imas
Friends and love

Vey watched me from a distance, occasionally he shook his head. Shortly after, Vey approached me. "Gold, since when do you have a cell phone?"

I, who was hard to seriously answer, said, "Since the days of the fire kingdom attack."

Vey seemed disappointed by my strange answer. He took a deep breath. "Gold, please answer seriously."

"Why, Vey? Should every aspect of my life go public?" I replied in an annoyed tone as my privacy began to be compromised.

"That's not what I mean, Imas. I'm just wondering why you're suddenly interested in technology, when you didn't really care." Vey looks unhappy when I look fun playing with a new phone.

"Vey, you've been intruding on my privacy and I don't like that." Answer me firmly.

"But, Imas. I just want to know why..." Vey wasn't done talking, I cut him off quickly, "Rather than you being curious about my new phone, what if you asked for my WhatsApp number? We can communicate more easily, right?" I said while nodding.

Vey looked surprised at the advice I made. He looked at me for a moment with a look of wonder.

"Are you serious?" Vey asked with a mixed expression.

I nodded steadily. "Yes, Vey. We can more easily communicate and exchange information if you have my WhatsApp number. Besides, we're already good friends, right?"

Vey seemed a little hesitant, but he finally smiled. "Alright, then, please give me your WhatsApp number."

I brought a new phone with a smile. Vey picked it up and filled out his phone number in my contacts. When he finished, he returned my phone with thanks.

"Thank you, Imas. This will facilitate our communication" Vey said with appreciation.

I smiled with satisfaction. "Of course, Vey. Now we can stay better connected. So, is there anything else you want to talk about?"

Vey shook his head. "Nobody is urgent at this time. Just want to know the reason behind your change with your phone. But now I know. Thanks for sharing."

I was relieved that Vey understood the reason behind my decision. We continued our way to school while telling stories about other interesting things.

During the trip, we laughed and teased each other as usual. The warmth of our friendship returned, and my initial concern about the tension between us vanished.

When we arrived at school, we split up to go to each other's classes. I feel happy that we can improve our relationship and remain good friends.

The break came, Usep came to me sitting at the cafeteria table. "Gold, I've contacted my father's friend, we'll tell Ujang. He asked his father Ujang to go to the office and bring his job application letter." Usep explained with a feeling of pleasure.

"Woaah.that's good news." Excited with a feeling of happiness, because finally we can help the Ujang family in economic difficulties.

Usep continued, "My father's friend also said that the company he worked for was looking for new employees. So, if his father Ujang managed to convince them with his cover letter, he would most likely get a job there."

I smiled more and more at the news. "Hopefully his father Ujang was accepted into the company. It would be a good first step for him to overcome his family's financial problems" I said, feeling relieved.

We both agreed to tell Ujang as soon as possible. After the break was over, we rushed to find Ujang who was studying in the library. We sat down next to him and told him about the plan we had put together.

"Listen, Ujang. Usep had contacted his father's friend and got information that there were job openings in the company. They asked your father to bring his cover letter to the office" I said with enthusiasm.

Ujang looked surprised and happy to hear the news. He thanked Usep and me for our help. "Thank you very much, Imas and Usep. My father must be happy to hear this news" he said with a smile.

We promise to always support Ujang in his job application process and hope that everything runs smoothly. "Look Ujang, I'm sure your father's welcome there." Said Usep while patting his shoulder.

"Yes, Sep. I gave my WhatsApp number to Vey. He doesn't seem happy with the ownership of my new phone." I opened a Maths book.

"This phone is your gift, Sep. You need to know what I'm using for and who deserves to know the number." Polo answered.

"What's? Usep give the phone as a gift?" Ujang was surprised to hear our conversation.

"Yes, Jang. Yesterday Usep gave a gift in the form of a mobile phone, enough to facilitate communication." I explained to Ujang.

"You're the birthday? isn't it a long time, Imas?" Ujang asked back.

"This is a gift for my recovery from amnesia." Reply again.

Ujang fell silent, then bowed his head. "If I had money, I would do the same, Imas." Ujang said with a disappointed expression on his face.

I saw the disappointment that emanated from Ujang's face, and my heart was filled to hear it. I want to cheer her up and make her feel better. "Don't worry, Ujang. Not the most important gift, but our friendship. You've always been there for me in hard times, and it's priceless."

Usep added, "Rubble, Ujang. Our friendship is not just about giving gifts, but supporting and sharing."

Ujang nodded slowly, raised his head, and smiled. "I'm sure the gift is more than just a sign of friendship."

I fell silent and glanced at Usep. "Is that true, Usep?" I asked with curiosity.

Usep did not answer; he just smiled and blinked. At that time I did not fully understand, but then my rumbling stomach broke our stiffness. "Waaahh... Imas, your stomach is growling, are you hungry? Let's go get some meatballs. I paid for it all" Usep said, pulling both of our hands.

In the cafeteria, Vey sits down and plays a spoon with a blank look forward. "That's what Vey is?" tanya Ujang astonished.

"Oh, from the morning his attitude became strange. Is it because I'm using a new phone and Vey is jealous?" I asked with jokes.

The three of us approached Vey, and I greeted him. "Vey, are you in trouble? how did she get out of there?" my many.

"I'm just wondering where I'm lacking to the point that my beloved girl doesn't care about me." Vey replied in a slow tone and left you just like that.

The three of us exchanged glances with feelings of confusion and wonder. "Since when has Vey had a crush on girls?" Ujang said and then dumbfounded.

"Don't know." Usep replied while scratching his head.

I shut up, then I said, "I'm sure the girl Vey meant is me." Say slowly.

"Are you sure Vey's talking about you?" Ujang asked, trying to find clarity in this confusing situation.

"I'm not sure, but there's a strange feeling inside me. Maybe I should talk to him and find out what's really going on" I replied as I tried to gather some courage.

Without thinking much, I ran after Vey who had left the canteen. But my movements were held back by Usep, he pulled my arm.

"Snakes, why?" I asked with my heart beating.

Usep looked at me with a hopeful look. "Don't chase, let him take his time to reflect" he said in a soft voice.

Usep sighed. "Don't hurt another heart, just one heart you hurt" he said with a slightly anxious look on his face.

I'm getting more and more clueless with the situation that's happening right now.
