Hatori Imas
Keep something secret

The more days Tony's attitude gets annoying. He now dares to come to my school with his friends. He was always watching me from a distance in front of a small kiosk.

"Tumben the Tony wants to play until now, usually he only plays up to the border." I murmured in my heart.

"Gold, Imas. Come home with Tony." Tony said with a hero.

"Sorry, Tony. I have someone else already." I was polite to him.

"Who? that nerdy Usep?" He asked again in anger.

"It's none of your business, Tony." I'm upset.

"See, if it was Usep, I wouldn't be staying silent right now." Tony said with threatening words.

Anxiety and anxiety was growing inside me. I felt cornered by Tony's increasingly annoying and disturbing attitude towards my life. However, I chose to remain calm and not prolong the debate with Tony.

"I told you, none of your business, Tony. You don't have to interfere in my life" I said firmly, trying to calm down.

Tony looked at me with a sharp glare, trying to scare me. However, I chose to remain steadfast and not show my fear.

"I'm not afraid of you, Tony. You can't control my life or manage who I hang out with" I said with the courage I wanted to radiate from myself.

"Okay, we'll see." Tony said as he left me.

After Tony left, I let out a sigh of relief. However, tensions and worries still settled inside me. I rushed into the school, hoping to calm my mind with a familiar classroom atmosphere.

I stepped into my classroom with careful steps. Upon entering the classroom, my gaze immediately fell on the classmates who had gathered at their desks. I saw familiar faces and smiled slightly, feeling a little relieved that I was not alone.

I sat down at my place and tried to focus on the lesson that was about to begin. However, my mind still kept glancing over to the incident with Tony. I pondered inwardly, trying to find a solution to face her increasingly annoying attitude.

When the entrance bell rang, the teacher went into the classroom and took our attention. The lesson began, and I tried hard to take my mind off the problems I was facing. However, Tony kept coming to my mind, and I was tense throughout the lesson.

After the lesson ended, I felt relieved. I gathered the books and stepped out of the classroom, hoping to calm down for a moment before heading home.

However, as I walked down the school corridor, I found Tony with his friends standing in front of me. My heart was pounding hard, yet I chose to remain calm and walk confidently.

Tony stepped closer to me, his face filled with displeasure. "So, you still dare to ignore me, huh?" he said in a condescending tone.

I looked at him with a firm attitude. "I'm not afraid of you, Tony. There's no reason for me to be afraid. What do you want from me?"

I clenched my hand, trying to control the emotions that were starting to peak. "My relationship with Usep is my own business. You have no right to enter my life and control who may or may not be my friend. Stop this attitude, Tony."

Tony let out a cynical laugh. "You will regret ignoring my warning, Imas. You don't know who you're dealing with."

I was angry and disappointed in Tony. However, I choose not to get carried away by emotions. "Tony, I've had enough. I don't want to talk to you anymore. Let me live in peace and don't bother anymore."

Tony looked at me with a sharp look, then slowly sighed. "Alright, Imas. But don't expect you to escape my attention."

I shook my head, ignoring the threat. I turned around and walked away, leaving Tony and his friends behind. My heart was still pounding, but I was determined not to let Tony's attitude break my spirit.

When I got home, I took a different path and was careful not to be followed. Upon arriving home, I was relieved that I managed to avoid Tony and his friends. However, worry still haunted my mind. I realized that the situation was getting more complicated and needed proper handling.

I decided not to tell Usep about the incident with Tony. I don't want to pull him into this matter and avoid the potential physical clashes that could occur between them. Although Usep looks bold, I don't want the physical risks and conflicts to get bigger.

Instead, I decided to seek support and advice from adults who could help solve this problem in a safer way. I knew that facing Tony head-on or involving Usep would only make the situation worse.

I decided to talk to a teacher I trusted. I know that the teacher cares not only about our learning in school, but also our personal lives. I'm sure that he can give advice and help handle this matter wisely.

The next day, after the lesson was over, I visited the teacher I trusted. I explained to him about Tony's increasingly disturbing attitude and the intimidation I felt. I asked for advice and assistance in resolving this matter without involving any physical conflict.

The teacher listened attentively and appreciated my courage to seek a peaceful solution. He gave me support and made sure that I was not alone in dealing with this problem.

The teacher promised to take appropriate action and involve the authorities in the school. He promised to keep the matter confidential and will take the necessary steps to protect me from Tony's bullying.

I felt relieved and a little more confident after talking to the teacher. I realized that there was a source of support and protection around me that could help deal with this situation.

Usep approached me as I sat resting in the school cafeteria. He waved his hand and then spoke. "Gold, where was yesterday all day? why didn't you call me?" He said a little bit of his disappointment.

"I was very busy yesterday, Usep. There are so many tasks I have to complete." I said a little lie.

Usep seemed suspicious of my attitude, because Usep did at least understand my daily attitude. "Hmmm. okay. If there's something you want to tell me, you know where to go, right?" Usep pretended not to know about my anxiety.

As we talked in the canteen, the other friends were shocked by the arrival of a group of young villagers dressed as thugs. They were seen gathering while smoking in a small kiosk in front of my school.

The news quickly spread to our ears. "Hm.. Don't you think Tony's gonna do it." I said in my heart.
