CHAPTER 8 | What a small world

In the morning, John woke up from his sleep, hearing his phone ring. “Cindy”. At first glance John saw it and answered the phone “Halo”

“John, are you busy this afternoon?” ask Cindy across the phone

“No. What's up?” john said as he sat rubbing his face on the bed.

“Will you accompany me shopping?” ask Cindy back

“Alright” says John back

“Where should I pick you up?” ask Cindy again

“I live in a rainbow apartment. Later I share the location” replied John

“Alright, see you later” continued Cindy back while hanging up the phone.

To avoid his identity being revealed, John asks Jiro to order a simple place to live in Terrace. Then Jiro buys a rainbow apartment and sends John to live there.

Around 10 a bentley stopped in front of a rainbow apartment building. Then down Cindy with a casual dress top outfit combined with a blazer and jeans subordinates, making her look graceful and smart.

John who had been waiting for about five minutes then walked towards Cindy “Hai, where are we today?” tanyakanya.

“Come enter first John, you will know later” continued Cindy.

John then walked into the car and sat in the co-pilot's seat. Cindy then stepped on her bentley gas pedal, then the car rolled towards the city center.

The car then entered the parking area of a shopping center that is quite crowded in the city center. Then Cindy held John's hand, which made John look clumsy. Cindy chuckles in her heart watching this pretended boyfriend while saying “We have to play the drama to the fullest right? Who knows if someone will see us in this place”.

John's eyes twitched at Cindy's words, his head so heavy not knowing what to say. But for the sake of the title of best actor of the year, John began to familiarize himself with it. Cindy then invited John to look at the famous clothing and bag shops in the shopping center. Hermes.

The manager narrowed his eyes slightly at Cindy's hand holding John in simple clothes. Some of the store clerks began to whisper watching the two guests. But John did not pay much attention to the behavior of the people there, he just looked around the store.

“I'm looking for a set of a pair of clothes for dinner” Cindy said as she bashfully.

Then they pick and try a pair of clothes for Cindy and John.

“Hai Cindy” suddenly a voice came greeting her.

Cindy turned her face to see a middle-aged couple approaching her. “Bibi” sahut later.

“Long time no see, it seems you are getting older Cindy” said the middle-aged man next to her.

“Ah, Uncle. Yes, almost about five years we have never met” Cindy said back

“This is your boyfriend Cindy?” ask Aunt Cindy while looking at John from top to bottom who remains relaxed trying on the size of his clothes.

“Eh yes bi, let me introduce. John's aunt Evelyn and uncle Howard” continued Cindy while pulling John's hand.

Evelyn pretended not to see John's hand, then passed by pulling her husband's hand while pretending to look at the items in the store.

Noticing this, John only sighed, but he did not care much about such things. Only Cindy felt guilty and apologized to John.

After choosing a simple but elegant suit, Cindy and John immediately head to the cashier's table to pay. At the same time Evelyn and Howard were also about to pay for the items they bought. Arriving at the cashier, Cindy takes out her credit card to make a payment.

“Cih, so men really depend on women. Shame so men today can only use women” Evelyn quipped.

Cindy's face flushed red, but John looked as though he hadn't listened to Evelyn's words.

Cindy lazily quarreled with her aunt, and after paying, she pulled John's hand and took him out of the shop, although she saw the strange gazes of the people in the store on them.

“I'm tired John. We find a meal yuk” pinta Cindy later.

“Yuk.” replied John briefly

During the trip Cindy talked more than John. John only answered briefly but kept smiling looking at the excited Cindy. They also entered the elevator that led to the restaurant on the top floor of the shopping building.

Evelyn and Howard board the elevator. Evelyn's face snorted at John and Cindy with her nose.

“Loh, you also want to eat ya?” ask Howard to them.

“Iya uncle” replied Cindy briefly with a nod. Cindy's feelings become uneasy meeting the two of them again. Then he glanced at John who remained indifferent not paying too much attention.

The seventeenth floor is the highlight of the shopping building, there is a luxury restaurant “Heaven” owned by a retired special soldier nicknamed Daddy in the army ministry. His real name is Tom Smith, but not many know that name.

This restaurant has several special vip rooms that are commonly used for banquets of people among the upper class. There are only four vip rooms in the five-star restaurant. Diamond, Gold, Silver and Bronze rooms. As the name implies Diamond is the highest class in the restaurant, which of course the price and service is the top services in the restaurant

Besides the four rooms, the restaurant also has a hall that is wide enough for a place to eat that ordinary people can enjoy the cuisine there.

Evelyn and Howard immediately booked a place for Gold at the restaurant.

“Sorry, our Gold and Bronze room has already placed an order. Only the rest of Silver course” said the officer at the restaurant.

“Then, Silver said Howard later.

He did not dare to book Diamond because it was the most special place, only important guests and with Daddy's approval could book the place.

Cindy looks disappointed to hear her uncle has booked the place first and the other vip room is all filled.

“It's okay, we eat here in the hall just Cindy” said John saw disappointment in Cindy's face.

Hearing John's words, Cindy sighed and they looked for a seat in the hall and ordered food.

While enjoying their lunch, Cindy suddenly heard the sound of “Cindy you are here”

Cindy turned to the voice and found Robert Pattison coming with her friends. What a small world, Cindy thought with a wry smile at those who came to her.
