CHAPTER 40 | John help me

After being satisfied enough to see and examine the gem, John handed the gem back to Amelia.

“It turns out you are here Amelia” said someone who came to them followed by some people behind him

“Ayah” says Amelia.

“John, this is my father.” continued Amelia who introduced her father.

“Why are you taking a stranger to the Lady” family private room said a woman next to Amelia's father

“She is not a stranger, I know her since from Russia.” said Amelia honestly nervously.

“Look at her appearance, who knows she has bad intentions” said another person next to them back who made Amelia's face paled.

“Sorry, for my disrespect for asking Amelia to drive me home” said John to defend Amelia.

“We are negligent, sorry sir if there is nothing else, please return to the banquet hall” said Amelia's father next

John then bowed his body and returned to the banquet hall. Amelia followed after returning the jewel to the safe.

“John, forgive my father and my family ya” Amelia said sadly.

“No problem Amelia, I can understand her. If there is a problem, you do not hesitate to contact me” John's smile that makes Amelia's heart a little calm.

After enough chatting, time also showed the night had begun to dissolve, John then said goodbye to Amelia and her family to return to her hotel.

Arriving at the hotel, John smiled as he closed his eyes. For him, knowing the three locations of the gem was currently already good. He just asked Jiro to tighten the supervision of the three gems. And John was just looking for two other jewels.

Hopefully Khaga hasn't found the other two gems, John murmured as he closed his eyes.

In the morning, the atmosphere in Nottingham was quite crowded, patrol vehicles and police were heard almost all over the small town.

John who had just woken up from his sleep was shocked by a group of people who came to his room.

“Police. Open the door to his room” shouted from outside John's room

John opened the door, and several policemen broke into his room.

“Search all places” shouted the police commander who led the group

“What pak” asked John who was surprised by the arrival of the police troupe

“The royal family reported missing the gem, so we searched every guest present at the banquet yesterday. We hope you can cooperate” said the policeman with a firm face.

Jesus, losing a jewel, John murmured in his heart

Of course the police procedures were correct to check every guest who was present at the banquet yesterday including himself. John then let the police do their job.

The police party of course did not find the gem in John's room.

“Please you cooperate with us to the police station. We need some information from you” the police commander said back.

“Alright, I will follow you” said John who then followed the police troupe after wearing his clothes.

John was then taken to the Nottingham police station for further investigation.

“That's the guy. He's a possible thief” said someone who saw the arrival of the police who invited John.

Amelia who saw John's arrival, her heart confused and sad, one side she did not believe the accusations against John, but on the other hand she was the one who invited John to the storage room, seeing and holding the jewel with sparkling eyes as it was interested.

While near John, Amelia asked “Do you do John”

“Is that what you believe Lady? john asked to look at Amelia's heart.

Police have not yet named suspects, but some names based on witnesses are more burdensome to John, although they did not see the theft directly, but from John's appearance, they only suspect the incident was done by John.

John remained calm during the interrogation, he who had already undergone thousands of years of such examinations was even more inhumane in the past. He still believes in justice. Unfortunately Jiro did not find anything suspicious from the surveillance video that made John sigh. John then contacted Violet to check if she was involved in the incident.

“Nona Violet, were your people involved in the jewel theft in the UK two days ago?” ask John

“Gem? Did you find the jewel in England? violet asked truthfully

“I'm less sure of it, but two days ago at a banquet, a gem was stolen from the British royal family. I need information from you” John said next.

“Okay sir, I will help her investigation on our people” said Violet as she hung up. Then he contacted his men to find out what happened in England.

John then contacts Sasha and Selena to assist with the investigation, especially in the underground organization that may be involved, and also checks through the gem sales line.

That night, John suddenly received a phone call “John, help me. Akh..” said the voice across which was then disconnected.

“Amelia!” john shouted after finding out who called him.

What the hell's going on? John then immediately left for the Amelia family mansion. Seemed inside the gate of the mansion deserted like never before. Then John walked into the mansion which also looked lonely.

John's eyes were surprised to see a few drops of blood everywhere, but found no one in the mansion. What the hell is going on here? john is back

John then went around looking for clues as to what was happening then, then he found in a family workroom, he found a figure who was hugging someone.

To John's surprise, he saw a human figure sucking blood from the neck of someone in the room. The figure was shocked and then tried to escape leaving the corpse of the person he had sucked, but John faster and faster to block the creature.

Vampires!

John recognized the grinning creature looking at him, the mouth of the creature covered in blood and his hand rubbed his lips and said “You are looking for death”

John just smiles “Come, attack if you can kill me”

The creature moves quickly to attack John, John avoids it and retaliates the attack that makes the creature hit back.

The creature was shocked by the power and speed of John “Who are you?”

“I'll catch you today” said John.
