CHAPTER 46 | You have started growing up

“This self-strength is not due to immortality. I trained the power in me since I was a child” John told his troops.

“Man has advantages because of thoughts and feelings. This advantage can arouse the spirit, generate the aura, this aura is what we use to be power” he continued

“As long as I am here, we will train to utilize this aura to increase your strength” said John who made the spirit of his troops present in the room overflow.

After giving some practice instructions, the day's meeting ended with renewed excitement and vigor for John's soldiers.

John is then ushered into the training camp by commander Diego to rest.

When he was about to close his eyes, John's phone rang “Luciana”.

“Halo tuan” says Luciana from across the phone

“What's Luci?” ask John

“Sorry to bother you sir, tomorrow is my mother's birthday, if you have time at night we have a birthday party. Can you come?” ask Luciana

“Alright Luci, I'll come tomorrow night” said John.

“Thank you tuan” Luciana said happily.

Around 10 p.m., John ordered his generals to wake up his troops and train. Physical exercise at night feels heavier in the forest, due to the influence of less nighttime oxygen that causes sleepy humans.

However, John wanted to familiarize his troops to fight at night, as fighting against vampires was impossible during the day. While during the day will fight fellow humans from Khaga's army. This is the heavy thing that John's troops will go through in future battles.

The next day, the routine of physical exercise and aura back in the morning to the afternoon, only limited by eating and sleeping enough. As the aura of training increases, the need for sleep will be less but the quality of sleep will be better.

“Sure. I must have come Luci” John said with a smile

“Let our master go into the” invite Luciana while holding John's hand to enter the mansion

Luciana escorted John to a large hall in a building behind the main building. It seemed that the guests were already present there, seen Luciana's mother who was dressed gracefully greeting the guests present.

“You have come mister” Mother Luciana said as soon as John entered the room.

“Happy birthday madam” John said to Mother Luciana

“Thank you sir, then the event can start” said Ibu Luciana.

Then the pickle began, and the guests took turns congratulating Mother Luciana. Most of them are distant relatives of the Lemann family and also business partners of the Lemann family. So John doesn't really care about hanging out with them.

John chose to sit alone at one of the tables and enjoy the prepared dishes.

Princess Amelia sits in front of John and starts telling his story until his family is kidnapped by vampires. Then of course John already knew.

“I'm sorry sir, even though I tried to hide to the police about you, but the number of witnesses quite a lot who saw the incident” said Amelia while lowering her head.

“It's okay Amelia. I can take care of that” John said with a smile.

Indeed, on the incident in England, Amelia herself did not reveal to the police the identity of John. The police got the face and name of John Araga from a sketch made based on a witness being held hostage by vampires. As well as some remote photos of surveillance video around the scene.

Police then spread the search for John throughout the UK, to other countries in the world. But Jiro's team deftly took action to delete the data and information about the incident. Although it can be handled by Jiro's team, but John's information has spread throughout the world. So that some secret agents of countries in the world have obtained the information before it was deleted by Jiro's team.

In Russia, Sasha immediately deleted information about the incident once she saw it, in Turkey, America and Canada as well. But other countries in the world may already be wary of John's whereabouts.

So, John's action to go to Latin America, is to temporarily hide in order to defuse the search situation against him while training his troops to be ready for battle.

Amelia, who was sitting in front of John, seemed to have changed slightly since the incident. He who used to be haughty and overconfident, now became inferior and a little wary of his surroundings. Amelia also equipped herself with a knife behind her clothes, as well as started learning martial arts to defend herself from such possibilities again.

John smiles at Amelia's current vigilance, then their eyes accidentally meet which makes Amelia's face blush red. John also slightly twitched and turned his head in the other direction.

“Master, can I ask you something hal” asked Amelia later.

“Who are you sir?. Why is it that master is so powerful to easily kill dozens of vampires himself? This is very out of our minds, Mr” said Amelia

“I am indeed a very strong princess, and the war against vampires is not just me facing that time alone. I've faced it many times” John said lightly

“Are you from some kind of vampire exterminator group” said Amelia cut off John's words.

John's eyes twitched then he smiled lightly saying “Well, that's kind of”

“Can I join?” amelia asked then expectantly

“Hmm. how yah” said John while scratching his head.

Actually John feels bad a princess who should be graceful, full of manners, courtesy and rules should be used as a fighter to face vampires.

“As for sir, I've learned a little martial arts. Ever since that incident, I realized that whatever status I had right now could not protect myself. So I just hope to protect myself in the future.” Amelia said with seriousness and passion.

You're growing up, John thought.

An event that befalls humans is a learning of life and if it can make it a turning point in his mindset, that's when humans have grown to become more mature in thinking.
