CHAPTER 63 | Ancient Tomb Sites

After escorting Luciana and Amelia to the airport, John now lives with Mona.

“Mona, you should commemorate your Tomb Guard group. Be prepared for a vampire attack that might come after you.” John said

“Vampires. Is what you're saying really John?” asked Mona worriedly.

“A man of Egyptian descent has been killed by blood loss with his family in Peru. In addition to the women who disappeared, Akins' collection of items including gems and blood crystal stones from Egypt was also lost.” John said

“I'm afraid this vampire party has tracked down the presence of blood crystals in Egypt and slaughtered your Tomb Guard group” he continued

“What should we do John?” ask Mona.

“Prepare yourself to the worst possible” John said in a serious tone while entering the hotel after being ushered in by Mona.

Mona called Hassan and told him what he said made Hassan laugh a little across the phone.

“Hahaha. vampire?” said

“Let's rest Mona, our base has survived since the path on the gods in Egypt, and is very difficult to penetrate. We will be safe if we are inside the headquarters with dozens of troops.” he continued trying to calm Mona.

“Thank God then. Contact me immediately if something happens,” said Mona.

For two days, the completion of the expedition team was over. But during the last meeting, Violet told him that the tomb site in Damietta had been reopened. He would go there one last time before disbanding this expedition.

“If anyone wants to come to Damietta, come with me. If not, you are free to go anywhere” said Violet.

“Nona Violet, Sara and I will come there” said Cindy who made Ken's eyes twitch to hear it.

Ken feels something unusual about the expedition team lately and feels the decision made by Cindy and Sara is not good to continue following the research of the expedition team to Damietta. However, his job was to protect them so he decided to join him.

“Nona Violet, I also want to go there. It is said that reportedly there has been found a tomb that is very old” said Ken who was also accompanied by several people who wanted to go to Damietta.

The next day, Violet, along with 12 men from the expedition team, including Cindy, Sara and Ken, travel to Damietta to study the tomb. Ken had already sent that information to John before his departure. John orders him to keep an eye on and protect Cindy and Sara.

Meanwhile, John who was enjoying his breakfast at the hotel suddenly gets a call from Mona.

“What's Mona?” ask John

“Mr Araga, something has happened at the Cemetery Guard headquarters. I can't reach out to friends and the Chairman at the headquarters. Please help us” Mona said restlessly.

“Good. Pick me up at the hotel, we leave together there” John said as he returned to his room to get ready.

“What happened at the Cemetery Guard Headquarters? Death Akins. The disappearance of blood crystals in Peru. The changed Expedition Team. Are vampires already in Egypt?” thought John

“Jeez, Sara and Cindy are at their base. I have to get there” muttered John

Before long Mona was in the hotel lobby to see John's arrival and rushed to his car.

“Master, last night I received a call from Hassan saying there was something strange in the Tomb guard group. I asked him to continue investigating carefully. But today I can't call him back. I'm afraid something has happened at our headquarters” Mona said with fear.

“Be calm, I will protect you in case something happens, said John to calm Mona.

The Violet expedition group had first arrived at the Damietta burial site, soon they entered the ancient burial grounds. Ken felt the movements of the people around the cemetery were very awkward.

Although the day was still not noon, but the cemetery area that was usually crowded at that time seemed quiet visitors, there were only funeral officials in the tomb room.

Violet invites her entourage deep into the cemetery. Inside the tomb chamber were several caskets lined up. Violet then along with the group tried to open the coffin. Inside it looks a corpse that has been preserved with ancient clothing.

The strange thing is that in the body of the corpse which was once a blood crystal when John opened it, now there is no visible blood crystal on the corpse.

After opening almost all of the coffins, there were no blood crystals on the bodies. It seemed like the blood crystal had already been moved by someone else.

Suddenly Hassan, a member of the tomb guards appears approaching Violet's entourage.

“Mr and Madam, our chairman invites you to enter into the main hall” Hassan said with a flat intonation.

Ken was suspicious to see Hassan's strange movements, his face pale like a lack of blood.

Violet after seeing the appearance of Hassan sighed her “Ah, what have you done Drake” she said inwardly

“You have turned some of my expedition teams into vampires and now you are turning the people in this tomb into vampires as well. Are you looking for something in this tomb?” thought Violet was back

“Alright, let's meet your chief” said Violet.

Hassan then escorted the Violet research team to the main room inside the tomb.

Once entering the main room, it appears someone is sitting in the chair of the chairman who is higher in front of the eye painting on the wall of the room. While the head of the tomb guard, Karim stood beside the man.

Ken saw the face of the person sitting on the chair, he was terrified, but tried to cover it up.

“Drake, what are you looking for here. You have ruined my expedition and research team, now let alone your plan.” asked Violet.

“Oh Violet, didn't I tell you that I wanted to help speed up your research.” Drake said as he stood up.

“You're too slow, look at this.” Drake said as he gave Violet a blackish-red gem.

“Heirloom pear?” thought Violet then took out the other jewels she had.

The three gems, which were blue, red and blackish-red, shone brighter and trembled somewhat tautly.

Curious Cindy and Sara walked over to Violet to take a clearer look.

Suddenly the three gems trembled louder and more radiant, making Violet surprised.

“Is there another gem around here? Is John here?” figured

“It turns out, you guys have turned the tomb keeper into a member of you” said John who suddenly came from the entrance of the main room.

“John!” sara shouted that she saw his arrival.

Drake's eyes twitched unexpectedly to meet Araga in this tomb.
