CHAPTER 27 | I am an immortal being

Sasha who was in the interrogation room looking at the incident from the beginning also felt shivering in fear feeling the horror of John's gaze. His mind raged not knowing what to do.

“Alright, if you follow my advice, I promise to protect your life” said John.

Sergei sighed, “I got an order from a person named Brandon. The Longevity Sect is indeed behind him” he continued

Suddenly the sound of an explosion from outside the house, followed by the sound of gunfire, Sasha, John and Sergei were shocked. Sergei trembling said “They came, they came. Protect me” he said with a shiver.

“Sasha you are here looking after Sergei, I will be out looking” John said as he passed. Sasha who was still stunned for a moment woke up to answer “No, I'm coming with you. This is our territory, how dare they attack.” said Sasha firmly. After locking the door of the room, Sasha rushed after John.

As soon as he came out of the basement, Sasha looked at the surroundings, looking as if his friends were already sprawled with blood. Then he saw John standing in droves by bullets from all directions. Sasha who was lowered her head, did not know what to do in such a situation.

The next second the gunshot ended, Sasha saw John covered in blood yet to fall. His heart aches to see that. When he approached John. John opened his eyes and moved as fast as lightning toward the shot that shocked Sasha. Sasha sat quietly shivering at the sound of moans and gunshots coming back from outside the house.

After a few minutes, John seemed to walk back into the house, seeing Sasha who was still sitting scared to see him.

“Ja..Don't go near” he said as he pointed the gun at John.

“Calm Sasha, I won't hurt you” John said as he walked over to her.

Nervous, Sasha accidentally opens fire on John.

“Aduh” said John grimacing because the shot made Sasha aware, he threw his gun while rubbing his face hoping it was a dream.

“Ka.. Who are you John?” sasha asked nervously.

“Alright, since it is like this, I will explain later to you. Now you immediately contact your side to clear this area. Move Sergei to a safer place. I go first.” John's message to Sasha

When John was about to step up, “One more thing, don't tell anyone about me. Be careful. There may be spies in your organization. Contact me when you're calmer” continued John who then went by leaving Sasha who still can't believe what he saw.

After John disappeared, Sasha immediately contacted his agency to clean up the area of the house and move Sergei directly to Russia including Sasha.

John, who returned to the hotel after cleaning his body, sat on the sofa waiting for the food he had ordered.

“It looks like there's nothing else I'm looking for here. I'll be heading to Rusia” muttered John while drinking his tea. Then he called Selena.

“What's the master?” ask Selena

“Please tell Jiro to investigate someone named Brandon. And immediately prepare my departure to Russia” said John

“Good tuan” replied Selena who directly worked on John's orders.

The following night, John had arrived at the Moscow City train station after traveling by road.

Upon arriving in Moscow, John went straight to the hotel that had been booked by Selena and then lay down himself.

Shortly after closing his eyes, John's phone rang and he answered “Halo”

“Halo John” says soft voice from across.

“Since that incident, I'm not feeling well. Only now can I contact you. Are you still in Belarus? “ asked Sasha with a sad tone

“I understand your situation back then, you need a break. I'm not in Belarus anymore”

“Have you returned to America?” ask Sasha.

“Not really. I am now in Russia. I still have some business here” continued John

“Really?” sasha's tone of voice seemed to change excitedly.

“Iya. Night-night calls me, is there anything?” ask John back.

“Anu, I need an explanation. Will you meet me? Where do you live? I'll be there to pick you up” Sasha said without giving John time to answer

“Good. I'm at the Neo” hotel John said

“Wait for me to pick you up” Sasha hang up soon. She jumped up and cleaned herself up, wearing a beautiful dress, not forgetting her makeup. Who are you John, he thought never off the incident that caused him to not be able to sleep.

About thirty minutes, Sasha had appeared at Neo's hotel and John was already in the hotel lobby. John waved his hand with a smile when he saw Sasha enter the hotel lobby.

“Alright, I'll take you to dinner in a nice and tasty place” said Sasha as she led John to her car. Then they drive to a pretty fancy restaurant in Moscow.

Sasha and John immediately entered the vip room that had been ordered by him, then the servants prepared dishes for them.

“John, sorry I shot you back then” said Sasha starting the conversation with a sorry face.

“No problem Sasha, I'm still healthy kan” John said as he opened his hands. “I'm getting used to your sudden attack” continued John with a small laugh that made Sasha blush.

“Who are you John? What kind of creature are you? Are you related to the Longevity Sect?” shower John with questions

“Waduh, one-on-one donk if you ask. All right, I'll tell you about myself. I hope you can understand and keep my identity going. Can I trust you, Sasha? ask John then.

“I'm not from the Longevity Sect, I myself am finding out about his whereabouts”

“My name at birth is Araga. I have a twin brother named Khaga. My childhood was in a small town in Canada. I lived three lives with the grandfather who raised us, educated and trained us both” John recalls

Sasha was stunned to hear Araga's explanation. He wouldn't believe John's words if he hadn't seen with his own eyes when John with a bullet-riddled body and blood could still stand and move.

“How can that happen? Are you not a human being from birth?” sasha asked curiously.

“I and Khaga were ordinary humans at birth, growing up to adulthood like any other normal human.
