CHAPTER 13 | Meet Selena

When the will was read, Gary said that his entire fortune was thanks to the help of someone he greatly respected. Gary wants his family to make use of his wealth for good purposes and to help others more like the person he admires.

In his will Gary then divided the family fortune for his children Tony Newman, Andy Newman and Olivia Newman. Then the last time all the families wait for the most important thing is the appointment of the head of the Newman family who will later lead and as the owner of all Newman family assets.

Gary appointed his granddaughter Sara to be the head of the Newman family who would later lead the Newman family with her husband.

The entire Newman family was in an uproar by the will, all eyes on Sara Newman. Sara Newman is surprised by her grandfather's will, but she doesn't believe her grandfather will make her the next head of the Newman family. None of the Newman family knew of Gary's true intentions of wanting to give back the fortune to its original owners, except for John.

“You were too overused Gary” muttered John while looking at the Gary Newman photo in the room.

John understands Gary's intentions, but the will puts enormous pressure on Sara to face her family. Besides, Sara will be a hunt for single young men who will approach her to fight for her position as her husband. “Ah.” John sighed at the thought of his promise to Gary.

Only one person is delighted by Gary's will, Lili's mother Sara. He felt a great power to control the Newman family under his feet by arranging for his son Sara.

Although the Newman family is not the top family in the country, being in the top ten in Canada is enough for them to be in the public spotlight. Then this news quickly spread throughout Canada, even the entire northern region of the American continent.

John's eyes twitched when he saw the news on social media that Sara became one of the best singles to be with rich single youth.

Instead of thinking about it, John then said goodbye to the Newman family, leaving those who were still debating the matter of appointing the head of the family. He did not want to interfere in their family affairs.

Actually Sara is reluctant to leave John, his heart and mind now there is only John after his grandfather died. Moreover, her grandfather's last message to Sara to be John's wife and serve her for the rest of her life. It felt like she introduced John as her future husband in front of her family according to her grandfather's message.

Reluctantly Sara approached John to take her away and whispered

“Don't leave me alone to face this, John” made John's eyes twitch helplessly again.

John turned towards Sara then smiled, “You'll be fine Sara. Trust”

John is accompanied by Jiro. In the car, John tells Jiro to help and protect Sara with all her abilities.

“Jiro, take me to the airport. I'm going to Istanbul to meet Selena. There are things I want to talk about directly to him” John said next.

“Good Tuan” said Jiro who then booked a ticket and drove John to the airport.

Istanbul, Turkey. John who got off the plane has been picked up by a subordinate of Selena, who then drove John to an old house in the Fatih district of Istanbul which he had occupied since long ago. This old building is located far from the urban area now occupied by Selena.

Arriving at the house, Selena seemed to be waiting in front of the house and smiled at John's arrival. Selena is a graceful middle-aged woman, but at her age in her forties, Selena has not thought about getting married. His life was mostly devoted to John who had been picking up and nurturing him since childhood in Turkey.

Selena immediately opened the car door and greeted John while bowing her body “Welcome Mr. Araga”

John smiled at the foster child he had cared for since childhood until now had become a woman who was firmly but gracefully rubbed. “Selena, if others see us now, would certainly think that you are my mother. But you still remain beautiful as before” John's seductive that makes Selena blush embarrassed.

“Master, please” Selena said next while allowing John to enter her house.

“There was a sudden move to visit me kari” Selena continued.

“Ah, there is no way I can forget my beautiful son Selena” said John who made Selena's ears rather amused to hear it.

Sitting in the living room where only Selena and John are present, a waiter prepares dishes and tea for John. Then after the waiter left, John resumed the conversation.

“I remember here when I took care of you and your brother Jiro. It looks like the incident only happened yesterday” continued John reminiscing about his past.

“Alright, I came here to discuss with you. Yesterday Jiro had discovered information that the whereabouts of my brother Khaga was most likely in Romania. He owns a company called New World Company. Have you heard of it?” john said next

“New World Company” says Selena surprised.

“New World Company is one of the companies that recently opened its branch in Istanbul. The development is quite rapid which is likely to have a large enough capital chain” continued Selena.

“I heard the news that this company is from the UK, and already has several branches almost all over mainland europe.” continued Selena back while sipping her tea.

“That's why I came here, so you're careful to face the company. Avoid to tangent directly” John next said.

“I will arrange for people to come here to help you.” continued John.

“And one more thing, an expedition is being carried out by Khaga, please find out the hidden information about it and report directly to me”

“Siap sir. I'll arrange for people to investigate immediately” Selena said

“Ok. Since I'm already here, please take me around town while enjoying dinner in Istanbul” said John.

“Good sir. I'll prepare a romantic dinner for my dear master” said Selena teasing that made John's eyes twitch.

Then Selena drove John to a romantic dinner that has views off to the port city of Istanbul.

While John is gone, Cindy and Sara have returned to Boston and are doing their usual activities. Cindy and Sara have tried to contact John several times, but John's phone is off.

This worries them.

“Sara, have you heard from John?” cindy asked Sara when they met on campus.

“Not yet. I've also tried calling her a few times but it's off.” says Sara.

“Somewhat happened” continued Sara looked worried.

“Why do you seem to worry about John too, Sara” looks at Cindy who makes Sara blush.

“Kakak too, why worry about it too. It was just a pretend boyfriend. Did you forget your first love?” sara teased him, which also made Cindy's face flushed.

The two of them looked at each other, then laughed together. “Already, let's eat together. You finish your final task immediately. Then we adventured on an archaeological expedition with” Cindy said later.
