CHAPTER 60 | I'll infiltrate myself

The city of Damietta, about 3 hours from Alexandria to the east, is one of the sites of the discovery of ancient tombs estimated to be around 25 centuries old. Many archaeologists around the world still identify the tomb, so John wanted to visit it while in Egypt.

“I heard in Damietta found an ancient tomb” site said John opened the conversation during the trip.

“True, it is thought there had been a civilization before that. Possibly the time of the gods in Egypt has settled there” said Cindy.

“Hopefully Hassan closed the site before we got there” thought Mona.

Then a message appeared on Mona's phone, “We have closed the time to visit the site. Will be reopened with further announcements”

Mona smiled looking at the message, her heart calmer and relieved.

Seeing Mona's smile, John felt that he must have done as planned.

When arriving in the city of Damietta, the government has indeed closed the prehistoric tomb site. John's team was disappointed with that.

“Already, what should we do now John?” ask Sara.

“Let's calm down, I'll infiltrate the tomb that night to see the situation. I'll let you guys know later” said John casually while investigating what Mona would do

“Sial, what are you doing John. Sorry, if you insist, we can catch you later” Mona thought.

“John, can we come with you tonight?” ask Amelia

Hearing Mona's thoughts, John replied “Don't wait at a hotel near here. Maybe it will be dangerous if we go there together” said John.

Mona is restless with John's plan, “You better not do that John, the government will crack down firmly if there is a violation of the historic site of the country” his advice

“True John, I don't think that's a good idea. We just wait, maybe tomorrow the site can be reopened” said Cindy chimed

“Please John, cancel that intention of yours. Otherwise they'll catch you” thought Mona.

“It's okay. I'm more willing to investigate it myself. You just wait for me to hear from”, John said with a smile

“Alright, let's find a hotel first to stay. I will also prepare myself” continued John

Then, they book a room at a hotel nearby to the historic site. Mona then made a phone call in her room. John, who deliberately chose the room next to Mona, installed his sense of hearing to know the movements and conversations of Mona.

“Hassan, report to the chairman. Tonight someone is going to investigate the site. You better act according to the chairman's instructions.” said Mona

“What? Why did that person insist on breaking through to the tomb?” asked Hassan across the phone.

“They want to know more about Blood Crystals and Guardians of our Tombs” Mona said.

“Alright, I will report it to chairman” Hassan said as he hung up.

John then smiles “Finally I can go in and find out your organization”

Later that night, John, dressed in black, began his infiltration into the area of the tomb site. Using his speed and sense of hearing, it was actually not difficult for him to avoid this group of Tomb Guards. However, John felt that if he was arrested, it would be easier for him to infiltrate this organization.

When entering the tomb area, John felt a fairly viscous aura of blood crystals. Then he followed the direction of the source of the aura, until he entered deeper into the burial area. It appeared inside his several chests that were lined with blood crystal aura coming from some of these chests.

Because according to the information he got, the blood crystal came from the blood of the gods of that era or it could be said to come from the blood of immortal beings.

“If an immortal could be killed in that time, then the myth of the jewel-furnished weapon is true” thought John

When John saw some other chests, he found the same thing. Suddenly, several shadows of people flashed shutting himself up. John smiled as he was surrounded by dozens of people.

“Who do you dare to break through the Egyptian government's website? Are you a grave robber?” shouted the person who was leading the ambush.

“I John. Only an archaeologist would want to know about this discovery, '' said John, raising his hand to see that the people around him had pointed guns at him.

“This site is being closed due to a problem. We the Egyptian government have the right to crack down on violations like this. You better give up don't fight” yelled the guy back.

“Good. I will not fight” said John. Then someone approached her and handcuffed her hands behind her back.

They led John through the tomb and into the secret door. John investigates by attaching his sense of hearing to his captors.

“Mona, I've caught this guy” whispered someone from the crowd on the phone after John walked away in front of him.

“Good, interrogate him with his eyes closed in the room. I'll be there soon to hear it” said Mona across the phone.

Before long, they covered John's head with a black cloth, then tied him to a chair in a closed room for interrogation.

Three people entered the room including Mona who had arrived since then and read John's file handed to them by Mona.

“Tell me who you are and what is the purpose of you breaking into this grave site?” a man approached John.

“My name is John Araga, I am an archaeologist who is researching on blood crystals.” John said casually.

“This person is telling the truth. Why is he so relaxed without fear?” thought Mona.

“I think you are a group of Cemetery Guards who have headquarters around this site kan” said John with a smile

The three people who conducted this interrogation were shocked “Where did this person find out? Is he guessing?” thought they

“I didn't mean to be evil, I found out about you guys. Do you think why you can catch me?” john said that surprised Mona.

“With your strength like this, I can easily tear you down.” said John casually.

“Hahaha... You're too arrogant. In fact you are here and bound” said one of the men

“I know you won't believe me. I can tell you three in this room, two boys and one girl. Ohya, nice to meet you here Mona” said casually to make the three people surprised including Mona.

“Ba..How do you know it” said Mona nervously.

“I also know there are two guards outside this room, five in the room on the left, four in the front room, two in the tomb room, and six others stood guard outside the burial site” John said casually

“What? How do you know this?” thought the man who then reflexed backwards.

“Once again I say, I have no evil intentions. If I wanted to, I'd have ruined all of you” continued John.
