CHAPTER 10 | Violet

...What a wonderfull world..

In the evening, Louis Armstrong's classic Frank Sinatra performed throughout Heaven's Restaurant. Tonight the restaurant didn't receive any visitors due to Cindy's special family dinner.

Tom Smith looked neatly accompanied by the waiters of his restaurant standing at the door waiting for the arrival of his guests.

Shortly after, the Johnson Family came three Andre Johnson holding the hand of his wife Lydia Johnson followed by Cindy behind them who were looking around her.

“Welcome sir, madam and miss” welcome Tom to see their arrival.

“Wah, Daddy himself who welcomed us here” said Andre looks proud.

Tom smiled and invited them to enter and head straight to the Diamond room.

“Diamond? Wasn't the message wrong? We today ordered Gold room” Andre said surprised.

“No sir, we changed your order as our apology to miss for this afternoon's incident” Tom said

“Apardon? What happened this afternoon?” lydia asked Cindy, who replied with a smile to her mother. Then he took his mother's hand and said “Let me tell you inside ma”

Shortly afterwards, the Pattison family came, Jim Pattison** and his wife Melinda followed by his son Robert.

“Wah, Diamond room? This is the first time I've been here in a Diamond room. You are amazing Andre” said Jim while giving his thumbs up.

Robert looked nervously as he looked at Tom who was standing in front of the entrance who was winking his eyes at him.

“Come please” said Andre saw the arrival of the Pattison family.

Cindy seemed not so attentive to the arrival of the Pattison family, she was busy looking around for someone. Then he approached Tom and asked “Tom, has John come?”

“Not Miss, maybe soon” said Tom smiled.

“Alright ladies and gentlemen, I will wait behind, if anything is needed please feel free to call” Tom said kindly.

“Thank you Daddy” Andre said with pleasure.

Tom then ordered his servants to serve their guests well.

They also talked at length, but clearly there was a clumsiness between Cindy and Robert, this was certainly caused by the incident last afternoon.

While eating, they then talked about the matchmaking of their two children.

“How is Cindy, I think Robert is suitable to be your fiancee” asked Andre to his son CIndy

“Pa, Cindy already said. Cindy already has a fiancee” sahutnya that makes both parents Pattison twitch. Robert already knew the answer would definitely come out of Cindy's mouth.

“Before Cindy's fiancee will come, Cindy has invited her to come tonight” continued Cindy who makes the Pattison family less happy.

“Iya ma. We've been dating for a long time. So I beg papa and mama not to find me a mate again” said Cindy back.

“Ah, when compared to Robert, John is like earth and sky. Will he be able to meet all your needs later? ask Lydia back.

“It doesn't matter. What's important for Cindy is that we love each other” her voice came back stubbornly.

“Already, don't be forced Lydia. If that is his will. Let the children decide for themselves. If Robert and Cindy were a match, they would definitely be together. One day Cindy's eyes will definitely open and accept Robert” Jim said which made Cindy pout.

“Iya. I will fight for it until Cindy accepts me”, Robert said.

Cindy grew even more sullen at hearing their words.

“Good. Let the young decide it” timpal Andre next.

“Let's toast to this meeting. May our friendship remain eternal forever” continued Andre back while raising a glass.

They also toast.

“By the way other than this matchmaking thing, there is a business I want to talk to you about Andre” Jim said next

“We Pattison family have investors from Europe. We've been working together for a long time. This company is from Romania. But it already has branches all over the world England, Russia, China, Mexico, Brazil even in the middle east.” continued Jim

“This company is named New World Company. They are currently developing a tourism project in Canada. So they are looking for a business partner from Canada. That's why I want to invite you to participate in it” continued Jim back

“In addition, they are again carrying out various expeditions around the world to find and treat ancient artifacts by conducting various archaeological investigations in various parts of the world” said Jim next while sipping his drink.

Hearing the word expedition and archaeology, it attracted Cindy to further listen to him.

“Well, Cindy is an archaeologist too. If you want, he can participate in the expedition carried out by this company” continued Jim

“That sounds interesting” says Andre.

“Alright, when can we meet with them?” ask Andre further

“If you want, I can call him right now” Jim said next.

“Ok. I'll call him” Jim said as he then dialed the number.

“Halo Jim” says someone lady across

“Nona Violet, Sorry to interrupt your night. If miss has time tonight, you'd like to invite her to dinner. Hows it? ask Jim

“Good. Send location. I'll be there” said the person across the phone.

Jim immediately sent the location of the heaven restaurant to the woman.

“He will be here soon” Jim said next.

Cindy looked a little gloomy, she had tried to contact John but had not been answered. He was worried something was happening to him.

Just as he was about to call John, he saw the figure of him already coming into the restaurant. Cindy was delighted with John. Then he immediately ran to pick her up.

“John, why it's too late” asks Cindy.

“Sorry, I am late because there is a sudden business” replied John

“Ok, let me introduce to them.” continued Cindy while walking to the Diamond room by holding John.

“Everyone, sorry to introduce this my fiancee, John” said Cindy introduced John to everyone in the room. Robert snorted at John's arrival. His heart was still upset by the incident this afternoon.

“Halo everyone” greet John kindly.

“Young people today do like to be late. Undisciplined” says Lydia's mother Cindy while sipping her tea.

“Son, if you are undisciplined. What will be later” said Andre

“Sorry, I had an urgent affair that could not be avoided earlier” said John as he scratched his head and smiled

“Come on John sitting here” Cindy said as she invited John to sit next to her.

They talked lightly, continuing to eat.

Shortly afterwards, a graceful figure walked accompanied by two bodyguard men towards the Diamon room. Her sexy body curled beautifully making all eyes not blink looking at her appearance. But John remained indifferent while eating his dishes.

“Nona Violet, let's please join” Jim said welcoming the woman

Violet walked into the room with her scented scent spreading throughout the room. Suddenly Violet was stunned for a moment staring at John. “Tuan”.

“Master?” jim asked who heard Violet's words and turned to John.

“Ah, sorry I misspoke because of something” said Violet changed the conversation.

“Oh, let's please sit miss” said Andre invited Violet to sit down.

Violet immediately took a seat right in front of John, then her eyes watched John in every detail. Really similar. Violet said in her heart.
