CHAPTER 18 | Timeless Troops

After preparing a room for Sara and Cindy, Selena sent her subordinates to take them from where they were staying and move them here.

Selena then approached John who seemed worried about the expedition.

“Master, what are you thinking” asked Selena gently this time.

“You must be careful Selena. I met Khaga's subordinate, Violet. It seems he already knows my identity. And of course Khaga already knows it. That's why I asked Cindy and Sara to stay here, so I could protect her.” John said with a sigh

“But at this time Khaga will not move to bother me, it seems he is still waiting for the results of this expedition” continued John back.

“According to the master what Khaga is planning at the moment” asked Selena back

“According to my estimation, it is currently planning two hal”

“The first time he was looking for a way or finding something to be able to kill me”.

“Killing you sir?  Aren't you two immortal?” ask Selena further

“I feel Khaga is preparing the immortal troops” he continued

“Endless team?” selena said surprised.

“Iya. From the very beginning Khaga's plan was to exterminate all of humanity, then replace it with people he could control” John said

“Some times I found cases with strange clues. Traces of blood, yet no human corpses. And some missing persons cases. Surprisingly missing people always occur at night” continued John while taking a glass of tea that has been prepared by Selena.

“Akupun began to investigate every night and somewhere in the past I met the suspicious creature, he was about to prey on another human by biting his neck. The creature resembled a human in general, but its face was pale white with fangs protruding out as it grinned. I don't know what a creature is”

“Then I fought him back then, I had killed him many times, yet he didn't die either. The last time I tried, I stabbed his heart with my hand, and then he was destroyed to dust”

“That's where I found out the creature's weakness. But the creature was very strong and fast. It was only in the last century that I heard humans call it vampire” continued John with a sigh.

“Then what is the plan sir?” ask Selena back

“If it is true as I suspected, humans are in danger” continued John.

“Imagine humans perished on this earth and then the earth is inhabited by immortal beings named vampires. Even if humans were still around, they would live in fear every moment” John said sadly.

“For that Selena, I want to train again my strength becomes stronger. And also train you people around me to be able to fight these creatures.” said John

“It would be a good thing if this fight didn't happen, but we have to prepare for the worst conditions in case of a future battle” continued John then he walked towards the backyard followed by Selena.

After a long conversation, it appears that Cindy and Sara have returned to the house and they gathered in the dining room for dinner that day while discussing the plans they will do during a vacation visit Turkey.

Then after it was late, Cindy and Sara also say goodbye to John and Selena to rest and can't wait to go around the next day.

“What do you think Selena, do I have to reveal my identity to both of them?” john asks Selena after Cindy and Sara leave.

“It turns out you're an adult Selena” John said with a smile teasing him

Although Selena was a little uncomfortable to hear those words, they ended up laughing together on a night full of stars.

In the morning John woke up to the screams of Sara.

“John, where are you? why isn't the clock awake? Yesterday you promised to take us for a walk” cried Sara looking around for John's room.

Selena who saw the incident was amused, recalling similar events she had done in the past.

When she saw John opening the door, Sara hit the door and entered John's room.

Inside the room, Sara who forced her way in her eyes saw John who was wearing only shorts in the room. Her muscular chest and stomach were clearly visible in front of Sara.

Time stopped for a few seconds.

“Kyaaaa” shouted Sara who was conscious while closing her eyes but still looks the color of her cheeks red.

“Quick put on your clothes” snapped Sara later.

Well, you broke into my room yourself, John thought. This woman's base.

John goes to the bathroom to clean up, while Sara leaves the room and goes back to the living room waiting for him.

Sara doesn't realize Cindy's coming near her. Sara was still daydreaming about the incident just now. Chest. Stomachs. All those shadows reappeared making Sara's face glow red

“Seeing from your face surely you are daydreaming of dirty things” Cindy's seductive seduction that disperse Sara's daydreams.

“Enak. Who says like that” Sara's legs but her face still looks red hue that makes Cindy laugh amusedly see it.

“Sara, you are 21 years old, but your behavior is still like a child. Basic spoiled child” said Cindy back while pinching Sara's cheek.

Selena looked at the whole incident with a smile. It would be nice if we did not know the truth that happened to this world, he thought.

“You are walking where today?” ask Selena to them

“I want to go to historical places in this city as my research material for the final task later” said Sara excited

“And I happen to be accompanied by an archaeologist my beautiful guiding lecturer and also this city guide although lazy it seems like he will be quite useful later” continued Sara

“Who is lazy?” john asked who was approaching them.

“Who else if not you” said Sara while bowing her head after seeing John who again raises the shadow of today's events.

John laughs amusedly at the incident, then they also enjoy the breakfast that has been prepared by Selena.

“Abibi, we leave first. Thank you for breakfast” said Sara to Selena excitedly and took Cindy's hand followed by John.

Just this time I saw Mr. Araga like a young man in general, even though he was thousands of years old, thought Selena.
