CHAPTER 47 | Daniel and Pablo

“Or will you teach me to be strong like you?” urged Amelia while standing up and then approached John.

John's heart gurgled at Amelia's distinctive fragrance, making himself nervous not knowing what to answer.

“Ba..Alright princess. I'll teach you” said John who was getting nervous.

Princess Amelia spontaneously hugged John happily, making John's head dizzy. This incident made the men look at John with envious eyes and the surrounding women snorted to see John's appearance was not like the son of a high status.

“What are you doing?” suddenly a familiar voice approached them.

Luciana came and brought a glass of wine and gave it to John.

“Oh Luci, finally John wants to teach me martial arts. So that I could face.ups” Amelia shut her mouth stopping herself from divulging the incident that had happened to her. After all not everyone would believe words like vampires and other strange things.

“It's the princess, I already know the events that have happened to you in England” Luciana said while sitting nearby.

“No” said Luciana cut off Amelia's words while taking her wine glass.

Then a middle-aged woman approached them.

“Oh Daniel, when did you come nak?” ask the woman.

“Aunt Emi, I just came from duty. As soon as I remembered Luci's mother's birthday, I immediately rushed here” said Daniel

“Good daughter-in-law candidate, Luci there with daughter to accompany Daniel. Instead of sitting here with the village people” said the woman who was called Emi's aunt.

“Auntie, don't talk carelessly. Mr. Araga is a guest of our family” said Luciana was not happy to hear her aunt Emi said.

“I am here to accompany Mr. Araga” said Princess Amelia who was not happy to hear the ridicule from her aunt Luciana.

“Luci, the man is a wanted fugitive by the British police. It looks like he is linked to the kidnapping of Amelia, the deaths of several people at the time as well as a warehouse fire in Norwich that also killed around dozens of people

Daniel and Pablo are government secret agents who have read information about John about events in England. The four of them included two men who were guarding John from escaping from there.

“They didn't ask for my approval. And I don't approve. Who I choose depends on my heart” Luciana said.

“Do you like that guy Luci?” daniel asked, looking at John

John choked, then coughed at the conversation which made him suddenly have a headache.

“You okay John?” amelia said worriedly as she approached John.

“It's okay princess. I just suddenly daydream while drinking” John said with a small laugh.

“You see, Princess Amelia must have liked that guy. He seemed so worried about her just because she coughed. He must have something to do with the kidnapping incident that time” said Daniel concluded.

Pablo who saw the incident became furious, he had long harbored his feelings for Princess Amelia, the four of them had indeed been friends for a long time. Luciana often gets outside information from Daniel and Pablo, and their long friendship leads both Luciana and Daniel's parents to match them up to further strengthen the business relationship of both parties.

Luciana saw the incident a little frown with a red face to see John's closeness with Amelia, but somehow her heart was anxious about it.

Pablo walked up to Amelia, then forced his hand to move away from John “Daughter, I want to talk to you” he said
